@AeroTactical if you want the land, you must land your troops on Swisher-man. Swisher-man is surrounded by mountain and sending a tank there is a stupid idea. Build a cargo plane and send paratroopers instead

Mach speed also will broke aircraft fuselage and reduce its strength. But well, There is an option where the pilot can maximize the engine power and push the engine beyond its limits in case of emergency.
Since satellites are not exist yet, the only way to control these drones is by radio signal. The maximum range of radio controlled drones in 1945 was typically 5 to 10 miles (8 to 16 kilometers) under optimal conditions, though most practical applications were limited to 1 to 5 miles (1.6 to 8 kilometers) due to line-of-sight requirements and unreliable signal strength in that era. You can operate it to hunting terrorist in your teritorry, but you cant spying any other country with this limited range.

That design is clearly too advanced for 1946s, early design drones will looks like THIS and radar intercepter, radar jammer and completely silent engine is too advance. You also need a modern colored camera and modern technology to control, spying and hunting terrorist in real time.
@voytek I just curious how you build such large amount of vehicle and airplanes while your land is small, too cramped for your many weapons and mountainous, a place that not suitable for tanks
