@SaturnV I don't know about you but I would rather fly in a plane that does not use any fancy control systems, wire is more reliable than electronics or hydraulics.
@SaturnV The thing about old seaplanes is that they were relatively slow, and they almost always flew at a very low altitude.
It would take longer for people to go from A-B but seaplanes are comfortable and spacious. It would be like going on a flying cruise ship. Also, seaplanes don't normally use fly-by-wire so you won't suddenly lose control if the electrics fail.
I wonder if you could automate it and make it fly on its own on a course from Wright to Yeager and then drop on the hangars. It may be possible if you found the right compas bearing, made the launcher rotate to that bearing and then after you launch the V1 could cruise while being stabilised by a gyro. You could even get it so it runs out of fuel above Yeager airport by editing the fuel value.
@DemonSniper8 In the old days when I first started, ever single upload got an upvote within 5 mins, the jet stream is partly to blame as before you got notifications when someone you follow uploads something now nobody uses the jet stream and never know when people upload unless its on the front page...

It would just be a pain in the butt to find the right combination!
I think it's possible... Theoretically speaking. @Mattangi2
