    @GermanAircraftCompany Sure!

  • Ottoman Crescent and Star/New Awwam Insignia 9.0 years ago

    @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation No. I'm speaking for history.

    The flexible rulers, who tolerate and embrace diversity (which does not include taxing non-Muslims and persecuting all those who don't pray to God) or enslave the conquered, are the one's who get the 300 year empires. The one's who are intolerant to other beliefs or restrict the practice of other religions and beliefs which exist in the territories beforehand through physical, social, political, or economic means (ex. the concept of jizya and dhimmi status), get empires that last 30 years.

    If you choose to tolerate and embrace diversity, then you'll get a stable 300 year empire. If you choose to enslave them, then you get a pretty shaky 300 year empire. If you choose to restrict the religion or culture of conquered territories through physical, social, political, or economic means, then you get a crumbling 30 year empire.

    You chose the last option.

  • Tank School: An Old Friend & Teammates!!! 9.0 years ago

    @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation I was also the one who proposed the idea that Suleimani and Victoria had a previous engagement as lovers from officer school.

    They both knew they could not be together because they were uncertain how their respective families would react. Suleimani's father, Pakistani Al-Khalid, has a special hatred for the British, although Pakistani Al-Khalid often acts like a British officer (swagger sticks, tea, not ducking when shot at, a characteristic stride, and the fact his uniform is derived from British uniforms). Victoria's grandfather Centurion likewise never liked Pakistanis, having been shot at by Pakistani Patton (new character?) during his service with India (he also served in the armies of Israel, Australian, New Zealand, and South Africa).

  • Tank School: An Old Friend & Teammates!!! 9.0 years ago

    @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation True story.

    On the other hand, there were less-flattering moments for Pakistani M48 Pattons, such as Asal Uttar, where 135 Indian tanks (45 M4 Shermans, 45 AMX-13 light tanks, and 45 Centurion MBT) challenged 264 Pakistani tanks (220 M47/M48 Patton MBT and 44 M24 Chaffee light tanks).

    Now keep in mind that the Centurion and both variants of the Patton (M47 and M48) are very much comparable machines in terms of armor, mobility, and firepower. For all intents and purposes, the M4 Sherman is about as powerful as the AMX-13, since although the Sherman has better armor, the AMX-13 is more mobile. The Indian Army upgunned their Shermans much like the Israelis, fitting the AMX-13's 75mm high-velocity gun (which is comparable to the gun on the Panther), or the 76.2mm gun from the PT-76, although some had the obsolete 75mm M3 medium-velocity gun. Pakistani Sherman tanks employed the 76mm M1 high-velocity cannon, and served quite well. The Chaffee, although mobile, would have a 75mm M6 (which is basically the 75mm M3) and the armor of the AMX-13.

    The Indian forces won decisively, losing only 10 tanks compared to the 99 lost by the Pakistanis, as the Indians lured the Pakistanis in a crossfire and the Pakistanis were bogged down in a swampy area. The Pakistanis blame bad tactics for this debacle, as the tank had performed incredibly well during the Battle of Chawinda, where the Patton makes up for Asal Uttar by halting the Indian Army advance.

    @RMark1 I smell a civil war.

    @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation What did I say? The Awwami Caliphate will fall quickly due to your strict and inflexible policies.

    Consolidate it to Arabia and you'll at least have something. Arabia and Anatolia wants Sharia Law and a powerful caliphate.

    China, Western Europe, Iceland, Canada, and India don't want it. Because perfection is a perception, and the worst enemy to improvement.

    The reason why there has never been a large Islamic empire to your taste is because of your inflexibility to other beliefs.

    When we took over Aurunan North America, we simply asked them to write their annual taxes to us instead of the Aurunans and to respect the authority of our government. And our government wasn't so different from theirs, so it worked out well.

    You claim your laws were written by God, but is God not a concept of man? Just some philosophy here.

    Yes, I'm aware people were killed over this. Put down the Glock.

  • Tank School: An Old Friend & Teammates!!! 9.0 years ago

    @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation I think that the Pakistani Al-Khalid (Who is friends with M48 Patton and his brother M47 Patton, because you know, the Pakistani Army used them until 2002, where they are in reserve.

    Pakistani M48 Pattons saw extensive use, and were held in high regard by the Pakistani Army due to their performance in the 1965 and 1971 Indo-Pakistani Wars. During the First Battle of Mogadishu in 1993, UN Forces, made up of members of the Pakistani and Malaysian Army, rescued US Army Rangers trapped in the city. The Pakistani Army used M48 Patton main battle tanks during the rescue operation.

    Yes, the Pakistani Army was there. The Pakistani Army provides a lot of UN peacekeepers everywhere.

    Virtually everyone has operated the Pummeler in some capacity. The ESR uses them for target drones and as a light transports. They do not use them as attack aircraft, as it is in their minds, the Angel of Death. The Bravo and Delta Pummelers inflicted considerable casualties upon NFK forces in the NFK-Paternian War, and they don't like procuring equipment, especially aircraft, which have been used against them. @DankDorito

    Ehhh... History says: Every religious group, at some point in time, has committed genocide in the name of their religion.

    See Armenian Genocide, the second most famous genocide, conducted by the Ottoman Empire upon Christian Armenians.

    Also, a leader is often blind to the specific conduct of their subordinates. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation

  • Ottoman Crescent and Star/New Awwam Insignia 9.0 years ago

    @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation But HOW exactly did you do it? We were aware that religion in general was suppressed. And most of the Chinese are either traditional ancestor worshippers or Buddhists. The majority of Chinese Muslims are in Western China.

    And as we are aware, the majority of Indians are still Hindu, as the governor, realizing that they can't suppress Hinduism, has granted it Dhimmi status as the previous empire has done.

    Because it is most wise to adapt to the culture. Because even though sex education classes are mandatory throughout Paternia, those in largely Catholic regions are still taught to save oneself for marriage.

  • Ottoman Crescent and Star/New Awwam Insignia 9.0 years ago

    If everyone is rich, then everyone is poor, for wealth is relative.

    And how exactly did you populate China? And also, did you know that there were Chinese Muslims beforehand? Although always a minority, they were nonetheless accepted and many held high positions in the Emperor's court. One of them was Admiral Zheng He, who led a Chinese trade fleet to Easr Africa and Arabia, where he made the obligatory journey to Mecca. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation

  • Ottoman Crescent and Star/New Awwam Insignia 9.0 years ago

    How was this accomplished? There's three options in my opinion:
    1) you moved a lot of Muslims, especially Indonesians, to Australia.
    2) you converted them all through missionary work.
    3) you coerced them to convert.

    The first option will result in massive cultural changes and will leave a bitter Christian minority of pre-Awwam Australia.

    The second option will result in a syncrenetic (i.e. Mixed) religious practice, where Islam as practiced by Australians will still have aboriginal and Christian influences in the practice.

    The final option is how you get the ARI, which we believe is not a spontaneous movement, but an accumulation of grievances from Islamic rule, which will continue to plague said governance until you leave. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation

  • Ottoman Crescent and Star/New Awwam Insignia 9.0 years ago

    They did not like Sharia Law because 1) most of them are actually Christians, and 2) because perfection is an opinion, and what you think is perfect, the Australians think is heavily flawed. Australia is largely made up of Christians, unless you had a ton of Muslims move there. @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation

  • Command and Conquer RolePlay S2: The Raseiniai of South America & The Chechen Crisis 9.0 years ago

    @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation The Paternian government makes no attempt to support the ARI or any insurgency as of now. HOWEVER, we do crack down on arms shipments, or try to, as it seems from Information Control that in many of the poorer working-class areas, it is very easy to obtain weapons, notably the C36 carbine.

    They call that thing the "Widowmaker".

  • Command and Conquer RolePlay S2: The Raseiniai of South America & The Chechen Crisis 9.0 years ago

    @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation That's what they want you to think.

    You see, the ARI is a highly decentralized organization. Meaning the death of high-ranking leadership will not seriously impede its ability to conduct operations. It's basically in hibernation right now, waiting for chaos in Awwam in order to spring out and take advantage of a weaker Awwam.

    The Pummeler has been known to withstand hits from SAM and 57mm anti-aircraft shells.

  • Ottoman Crescent and Star/New Awwam Insignia 9.0 years ago

    @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation The point of having an autonomous region is so that @RMark1 can make laws which the people like (i.e. English Common Law) while you can still call Australia a part of Awwam.

  • A-1K Super Pummeler 9.0 years ago

    Thanks! @Viper28

  • A-1K Super Pummeler 9.0 years ago

    @Makcoink Certainly. During the GWW2, we lost 3,000 Pummelers to all causes, mostly ground fire.

    Fighters rarely engage the Pummeler because it often flies so slow and low that they risk stalling it. In addition, Pummelers always take winding routes in difficult terrain where there is significant ground clutter. This, combined with DIE in the tailcone and the low engine heat, make the Pummeler difficult to detect both visually, thermally, and electronically. This means that more often than not, a fast-moving fighter jet must literally visually acquire and destroy with with cannon fire.

    And as Awwami pilots soon found out, this was very difficult, as it took numerous 20mm or even 30mm hits to destroy a Pummeler. The variable-incidence laser turret was of little value, as they found it was difficult to maintain a lock upon something like a Pummeler, whose low engine heat and radar invisibility due to new materials made it difficult to acquire it as a target.

    Pummeler pilots would often sucker inexperienced pilots into a dogfight, where they would either outmaneuver or force them to overshoot, providing them a shot at them with either air-air missiles or the Pummeler's six 30mm cannons, which are capable of demolishing the lightweight airframe of a fighter easily. Several Awwami Air Force fighters have been shot down this way.

    Finally, there were usually Paternian fighter jets, with similar, if not superior, levels of stealth, high and fast above the Pummelers, ready to pounce on any pilot foolish enough to go after them. So of course these fighters would be a priority. And the Paternian Air Force fighters were much faster than the Awwami aircraft, leaving them at a disadvantage.

    This leaves ground fire as the most efficient way to deal with Pummelers. Although durable, the main flaw of the Pummeler as an attack aircraft is the use of a single piston engine. While said engine is quite durable and protected by armor plating, it can still be knocked out, leaving the Pummeler without an engine. In addition, while the control rods can be operated without hydraulic power, there is no spare control rods. In addition, the nose of the aircraft obstructs view of the ground considerably. These considerations were made when designing the A-2 Boar.

  • A-1K Super Pummeler 9.0 years ago

    @SimpleTechAndResearch Mis-named.

    It was not designated A-1J because the "J" suffix is used to denote a Japanese-built variant of aircraft accepted into Paternian service.

  • Command and Conquer RolePlay S2: The Raseiniai of South America & The Chechen Crisis 9.0 years ago

    @MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Information Control indicates that the rapid reduction of the Awwam rebel force is due to many defecting to the nascent ARI, who also operates under the name ASA, or Armee Socialiste Awwam (Awwam Socialist Army).

    Many felt that the direction of the Awwam Rebellion was unclear, and support dwindled as a result of infighting and coalition counter-insurgency operations. As a result, many have moved to the ARI, who has secretly expanded its operations into India and China, where they have connected with the Chinese Red Army.

    We find it incredibly easy to obtain information about the ARI, as they tend to operate more openly in the presence of Paternians.

    Against the ARI, we will not be able to commit as much as against the Awwam Rebellion, due to the popular support within Paternia regarding the ARI.

    Also, by killing Renee and Pierre Ajlani, you've just made them martyrs to the French people. They just plan on taking pot shots at you guys until you either get annoyed and leave or you overreact and conduct unpopular counter-insurgency sweeps.

    In the meantime, a separate but related insurgency movement has sprung in the British Isles. Known as the "New British Empire", they are right-wing nationalists who want to get rid of you guys for good. In addition, in Ireland, the Irish Republican Army has re-formed, with similar aims, except for Ireland. The British, mostly members of the Anglician Church (which is like the Catholic Church except the head of the Church is the ruling monarch of Britain and that priests can marry and have children), really do not like you guys, feeling the Pakistani minority has preferential treatment due to their religion.

    In Ireland, the Roman Catholic population and the Protestant minority both can agree that Awwam must go.

    Keep in mind that the British, with Scotsmen in particular, have overthrown outside rule, and the Irish are the sort who know a lot about rebelling, courtesy of the British.
