You can also try running the game as an admin to make sure it has access by hitting the Windows Key+R and pasting in "C:\Steam\steamapps\common\SimplePlanes"
Then, right+click on SimplePlanes.exe and select "Run as Administrator"...you'll probably have to enter your password, but I'm curious if the game will run after that.
If you don't have any settings/downloaded aircraft that you don't mind losing, try hitting the Windows Key+R and paste in "%UserProfile%\AppData\LocalLow"
Then, delete the "Jundroo" folder and try running the game again.
Any aircraft you have on the website will not be impacted...I'm assuming you don't have any local settings that you care about since you have not been able to run the game.
You could also send us a log file...run the game, and after the problem occurs, go ahead and quit. Then get the log file. It is located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SimplePlanes\SimplePlanesData\outputlog.txt
Sorry for the delay. It seems that you have a mod that is failing to load. I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it, but can you try disabling all mods and see if that fixes anything?
Can you send us your log file? Run the game again, and after the problem occurs, quit the game. Then get the log file. It is located at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SimplePlanes\SimplePlanesData\outputlog.txt
You can upload it to somewhere like www.pastebin.com, www.dropbox.com (or wherever you want so long as I can view it). Then post the link here.
Honestly, there is no set criteria at all. We all do it independently, without asking each other. We log in, see a design we like, and decide to feature it.
It isn't really "fair" I suppose, but it also isn't done with any sort of bias for/against a particular person...it is kinda just like a lottery I guess...as long as we see your plane, and like it...it may get featured.
We also tend not to feature a design that is already on the front page, or almost there even if we would've otherwise...so, it has a element of timing on when we see it.
Wow, this is awesome. If you could re-design to where it doesn't plow into the tarmac on full-throttle takeoff I would vote for this as a P-51 replacement...it flies great.
@Smasher I had to look up what a UTE vehicle was (not a common term in the US). We usually rely on Kevin to add new vehicles since he is the best at it, but I'll give him this suggestion :)
@poenix All wheels will bounce regardless of the configuration, but we know there is room for improvement for sure. Sorry for any frustration it causes.
Awesome job...didn't even try the throttle (since I thought it was an engineless glider) until I was coming up short for a landing and instinctively applied it :)
I just want to point out that having you all donate personally is not our primary goal (although that would be great).
We'd love for you to join our team and ask friends/family to donate a few dollars to your personal account. We'll be monitoring the forums tomorrow and will try to raise awareness of anyone who does so. Even if you only raise a few bucks...you did it for a good cause, and while playing games!
Also, anyone who does so and sets up a stream for us to watch, we'll absolutely go there and all of us will watch/chat/cheer you on for a while :)
@808REKT Yes, that is basically it. Just like other "marathon" charities...it is mostly just an occasion to raise awareness for a cause and raise money for it.
@Harambe Just know that further questionable actions by "Benkelmans" or anyone related may result in IP bans of anyone involved. So, I would suggest to anyone who cares about their account to take notice.
I am fine with the point system rants, or any rants in general. We need to know what people are thinking so we can improve things. Thanks for your feedback.
Wow, this is beautiful. It flies really well also. Favorite for sure.
@Meawk That is awesome. Which method did you try (deleting the folder, or running as admin)?
@jamesPLANESii Yeah, I watch MythBusters. Too bad they are not making any more, but Adam is still making content via Tested, which is great.
Very creative. Worked great for me. I remember seeing some documentary video about this guy and his creations...pretty neat!
Adam Savage Meets Theo Jansen's Strandbeest
The doc I saw was much older than the video above, but everyone loves Adam Savage, right?
Very maneuverable. Looks mean as well. Nice job.
Beautiful, and flies really well. Awesome.
Man, very well done.
Love it. Flies very authentically (or at least how I'd imagine it to fly).

Ok, I can see the problem immediately. We're reporting that you don't have access permissions to the folder we use to save/load aircraft and settings.
Are you running the game via a restricted account (school computer, family computer where it is locked down etc?).
@TheLatentImage We have no plans to currently.
However, since you can export the .obj file from the game, you can use that to get it 3d printed from many places, such as http://www.shapeways.com/, https://www.whiteclouds.com. Windows 10 even has a 3d printing suite built-in called 3D Builder which uses https://i.materialise.com/.
Oh!!!!!!! It looks like that is tied to terrain quality! It is gone on low...if you set it to medium or higher, it should show back up...sorry.
Could you describe the problem again?

Holy crap, this is impressive. Nice job.
Nice
Nice improvement on the predecessor :)

Awesome work, nice cockpit view :)
Nice, I like what you did with the engines/inlets.
Flies beautifully!
Very well done.
Awesome job...didn't even try the throttle (since I thought it was an engineless glider) until I was coming up short for a landing and instinctively applied it :)
Love it. I will say that steering with one hand is dangerous though :)
@Insertname I did! :)
FYI: Jundroo twitch is offline at the moment, go to Nathan's

Great job, this is incredible.
Not sure how this works, but if looks and flies really well. Nice job.
This looks amazing and flies like it is on rails...great job.
Awesome job! We showed this beauty off at our booth during PixelPop last weekend :
@AeroMobilFlyingCar Just use your "AeroMobilFlyingCar" :)
@Harambe Just know that further questionable actions by "Benkelmans" or anyone related may result in IP bans of anyone involved. So, I would suggest to anyone who cares about their account to take notice.
I banned "him"/you for the bio. If you need more evidence on why that was an issue I can link it here.
That is pretty clever!
That looks pretty good! Are you happy with it?
I am fine with the point system rants, or any rants in general. We need to know what people are thinking so we can improve things. Thanks for your feedback.
@Sniper16 Right-handed I believe.
@Slechta The update is live, but may take time to be pushed out to all devices, depending on platform/geographic location.
@kukimuki1234 You have asked that twice now...are you joking?
@RedBeard66 Good idea!
@BonesOfFlying Stop being so dramatic and cursing...I don't care if you are doing it with alternate spellings.
Holy cow, this is awesome! Beautiful.
It blows up within a few seconds of starting Bandit Run, and when in sandbox, it doesn't go much past 700mph. Any other tips to reproduce?
