Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals treat thousands of children every year, regardless of their family’s ability to pay. We want to help support them.
On Saturday, November 5th, our development team will participate in Extra Life, a 24-hour gaming marathon. Nathan was on his own last year, but now we're all coming together.
This huge worldwide celebration unites all gamers, from video games to board games, and demonstrates the awesome social impact that we can all generate together.
More than $22 million has been raised for local CMN Hospitals so far.

Even if you cannot game for the entire 24 hours on Saturday, that is okay! Also, you do not need to Twitch stream your gaming, but it's easier to get your friends and family to donate if they can watch you play!

Our team will be playing all kinds of games, some of which will not be all that kid-friendly.
However, we do plan to play some of our own games, like SimpleRockets and SimplePlanes, starting at 1pm CENTRAL TIME. We may play for an hour or more, so feel free to stop by and chat with us!

I just want to point out that having you all donate personally is not our primary goal (although that would be great).
We'd love for you to join our team and ask friends/family to donate a few dollars to your personal account. We'll be monitoring the forums tomorrow and will try to raise awareness of anyone who does so. Even if you only raise a few bucks...you did it for a good cause, and while playing games!
Also, anyone who does so and sets up a stream for us to watch, we'll absolutely go there and all of us will watch/chat/cheer you on for a while :)
@808REKT Yes, that is basically it. Just like other "marathon" charities...it is mostly just an occasion to raise awareness for a cause and raise money for it.
Its for a good cause in fact I just got out of children's hospital and they treated me for an inflammation in my throat and it was painful to deal with and affected my breathing so my voice was gone and was having an hard time breathing,they practically saved my life with talenol and antibiotics! They can do maricles and sadly some families cant pay for treatments (Also im doing much better if anyone was wondering)

Sadly, I wont be able to join the team. I will make sure to promote you and provide links to the donation in my stream. I will also be taking part in the 24 hour marathon.
