    @Verdnan @kikasshes @Cresand
    Guys, i just realised, because the cockpit begins with zero drag due to clipping, the only force acting on it is gravity. the cockpit is naturaly boyant.
    drag increases when entering water so water wont affect the speed of the cockpit however the cockpit will float along the top.
    ¦
    what im trying to say is crash your plane into the top of the water at top speed and the cockpit will travel at that speed indefinitly

    +1

  • Bumblebee Low Drag 248 points 8.4 years ago

    @Garuda1 forgot to mention, it can fly for over 30 min :)

  • Bumblebee Low Drag 248 points 8.4 years ago

    @Garuda1 i've reached my upload limit today but tomorrow i will be posting one with only 31 drag points, that can reach 740 mph in level flight. completely unmodded (except a 45 degree rotation of a fusilage block, purely aesthetic)

  • longest plane 8.4 years ago

    @shinycrystal136 better?

    @Kimo hey, i've just created a varient of this glider, hope you don't mind. i've included your craft and name in the description though :D please check it out.

  • Gliders 8.4 years ago

    @ValtsuAircraftIndustries its a nice design and its quite nimble. it was one of the first i downloaded :)

  • Dusk Glider 8.4 years ago

    @ValtsuAircraftIndustries true, however due to its wingspan it can glide at ~40 mph

  • Gliders 8.4 years ago

    @Brields95 @SalemASaberhagen how about this plane to operate at high speeds for long distances making use of glider techniques
    https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/a5REc8/Dusk-Glider

  • Gliders 8.4 years ago

    @Brields95 yes, as you see in all my planes, it can help with gliders to have the CoL higher than the CoM so that pitching back is easier. however for the best results the CoM, CoC, and CoT should be in line facing the direction of thrust.
