Actually the entire AI needs a code overhaul because the Ai in sandbox mode will spawn and fly with parts of plane either non existent or 50feet above ect.
And the Dogfights are just halirious.
AI will fire a missile 10 feet Infront and I don't need to use Counter measures because of how close the missile is and not only that but AI rolls to the right and turns left visa Versa plane rolls left and turns right which is negative G's on the pilot and plane which is not ideal in a dog fight, which makes Dogfights in simpleplanes stupid.
The only two things I give credit for in dogfighting in sp is that when AI is on your 6 it follows your moves which leads into my next thing of credit it's good for formation flights with AI with out weapons.
Ok so how aerodynamics work is that when you sweep your wings back you create less drag which in essence makes the plane go faster but when you sweep your wings back you lose lift in away that if you were to fly slow enough with wings swept back you will stall but because you've made your wing area smaller technically you also lose the manovering ability because the wing isn't getting the full air particles because that's the drag so in order to go faster you need to get rid of drag by sweeping the wings back which sacrifices your ability manover really well
The key thing is that SP doesn't have Multiplayer yet we have a mod for it and I think it's time that SP for competitive reasons with Flyout had multiplayer not just because of of mobile and SP should update their tutorials and teach how to build helicopters and make new engine parts for ships and a new rudder for ships as well
