here's a bit of progress on the Lagwing more wings will be added at some point
Altough I have to ask, what plane of yours would I mount on this plane, I am almost ready to make her carry planes
.
(Please note that I am not joining the MGLA by doing this, I'm just bored lmao)
With tensions slowly but surely ramping up, I will be preparing to withdraw the BC-61's that where deployed to help with humanitarian efforts. They will be staying until we deem it too risky to continue
As someone suggested, you should download builds that you think look good and study how they made the fuselage, of course, do not directly steal the parts, just take inspiration
Also you can press this text to go to post that actually helped me when I first started on the site
@Mousewithamachinegun122 I think you should use a circular corner instead of curved corners for your wings, might help "slim" the wing down without being inaccurate to the blueprints
Very sleek looking, nice flight characteristics, and interesting aircraft, very nice
.
Altough I do have a few recommendations, mainly to move the rear landing gear closer to the CoM, which should help with shorter takeoff length
With the ceasefire underway, I can now atleast help with the humanitarian efforts over there at snowstone. I'll be sending a few of the Webley isles' BC-61's, mainly loaded with non perishable food.
I would have done this a lot sooner but with the intensity of the fighting I did not want to be dragged in via an incident, as I am busy with school
I heard that you can have a negative value for the transfer rate of the refuel drouge, which should mean that it would take fuel instead of give it, maybe try that? You could then use a refuel probe for the refueling boom of the tanker
I never really appreciated the size of this strike group until that image of the formation was released
It turns out it's called invincible for a reason
@Mousewithamachinegun122 I don't really know any sites, I usually just find the first thing I see on Google, which is usually the Wikipedia image. I'd ask more seasoned replica builders for that
One tip I learned is to use thin fuselage pieces and adjust their length until it matches the dimensions of the craft, there would be 3 of these, one for height wingspan and length
You then adjust the size of your blueprint image until the size of the blueprint matches with the size of your thin fuselage pieces
Very nice, flies nice as well, though I have 2 issues: fuel capacity and PSM. Fuel capacity was already explained below so I won't delve on it too much, but there should be an activation group for the PSM, this would be helpful so that you don't end up doing flips on takeoff, still, very nice
@MonarchiiwithastolenMG makes sense, it's tiring to rp a whole war scenario with other people, I know from experience. Take that break once you get the chance, you deserve it
@Mousewithamachinegun122 I expected something smaller I guess, but eh. Just hope this doesn't turn into a power creep situation where one side tries the one up the other by adding "more power" and repeat. That would het boring real fast
I mean, threatening and all, but with the amount of large jet engines used, it should be more expensive than one missile. And with not a single counter measure, you could just shoot a missile at it and it's done
Also fuel logistics.
Fuel logistics is definitely y'all's worst nightmare I swear-
@Mousewithamachinegun122 anything with explosions. Missiles from the ground targets don't count because they damage through kinetic energy, which can be countered using part response= none.
@Mousewithamachinegun122 pretty much. Bombs do much more than reduce health, they also remove part connections. It's likely that your parts didn't take any damage, but they still get disconnected from each other
@Mousewithamachinegun122 you probably did everything correctly here, bombs are just that op. I've tried bomb proofing my tanks before, it only worked up to a boom 25 with .2 explosion scale, any higher it just falls apart
@L3FT2R1GHT yeah no
People have the right to leave whenever they choose to do so. You cannot force them to stay because they enjoyed their time here
Besides, most of the community knows that this game is dying already. The devs had already released their last update of the game. No need to restate the obvious, at that point, it's just spam
@Speedhunter makes sense I guess, still. I did not expect a post about "SP is dying boohoo" to turn into "simpleplanes chan is going to fucking kill you"
Why does this ship have tentacles?
+1@TheUltimatePlaneLover I'll take note of the dazzlers
+1here's a bit of progress on the Lagwing more wings will be added at some point

+1Alright here's a some recommendations that I didn't say earlier because I just got out of bed:
the horizontal and vertical stabilizers are too thick, thin them a little, also they should get smaller as they reach the tip
you can use fuselage cutting to achieve the livery you were going for in the tail, should make it more flush to the fuselage and less Jarring
Still, it's definitely a nice plane, and it's clear that you've put a lot of effort into improving your work
+1@TheUltimatePlaneLover I'm kidding
+1@TheUltimatePlaneLover "like the good ol days after 9/11"
+1-sundowner
Ah yes, the bane of my existence
+1@Majakalona what the fuck
+1Lmao
+1Sometimes I lurk, other times I comment, the rule is, I am almost always here
+1@TheUltimatePlaneLover they can, I do need to find some code for that, but it's doable
+1Now I'm not sure if the A-40 is this war's equivalent of Gojo or Sukuna, prolly Sukuna tbh
+1Also I am remaking your Lagwing, any suggestions?
Make a helicopter but with the blades placed on the bottom of the craft
+1Feel free to do so, Many people have their own countries in this site
+1As someone suggested, you should download builds that you think look good and study how they made the fuselage, of course, do not directly steal the parts, just take inspiration
+1Also you can press this text to go to post that actually helped me when I first started on the site
The fuel thing in the middle being lower is actually a bit helpful, as it should allow refueling planes a bit more space when doing it 3 at a time
+1@Mousewithamachinegun122 I think you should use a circular corner instead of curved corners for your wings, might help "slim" the wing down without being inaccurate to the blueprints
+1Why
+1It probably helps with takeoff, British carrier decks were short after all
+1Very sleek looking, nice flight characteristics, and interesting aircraft, very nice

+1has treaty about the removal of unrealistic weapons
+1Finally having a fair fight in the war
Gleipnirs are joining the war
Gleipnirs are joining the war
@Speedhunter it's probably the squids honestly
+1@LunarEclipseSP yeah, it's beautiful and terrifying at the same time. Altough I'm sure it's going to be a bit expensive to maintain and operate
+1I never really appreciated the size of this strike group until that image of the formation was released
+1It turns out it's called invincible for a reason
Shits about to go down I can tell
+1Charls finally posting after 15 trillion years
+1@SILVERPANZER again?

+1Filipino mentioned 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
+1@MonarchiiwithastolenMG makes sense, it's tiring to rp a whole war scenario with other people, I know from experience. Take that break once you get the chance, you deserve it
+1@realSavageMan that should be fine. What's important is that you're still playing and enjoying the game, regardless of activity
+1At high enough speeds it can actually fly without a vertical stabilizer, it's a bit swingy, but it's workable
+1chat he's back chat
+1@Mousewithamachinegun122 I expected something smaller I guess, but eh. Just hope this doesn't turn into a power creep situation where one side tries the one up the other by adding "more power" and repeat. That would het boring real fast

Well damn, things just got even more interesting. I did not expect that to happen.
+1@Mousewithamachinegun122 anything with explosions. Missiles from the ground targets don't count because they damage through kinetic energy, which can be countered using part response= none.
+1It's actually the same with any other weapon with explosions. Cannons, airplane missiles, even rockets
+1@Mousewithamachinegun122 pretty much. Bombs do much more than reduce health, they also remove part connections. It's likely that your parts didn't take any damage, but they still get disconnected from each other

+1Also using airbrakes as skirts, clever

@Speedhunter that's fine I guess. It's definitely better than repeating the same "SP is dying" forum again and again and again and again.
+1@Speedhunter makes sense I guess, still. I did not expect a post about "SP is dying boohoo" to turn into "simpleplanes chan is going to fucking kill you"
+1Ayo what happened here LMAO
