@freedompilot98 Dropbox or email or any other method would work to. You can contact us directly here if that would be preferable: http://jundroo.com/contact/
@Avro683Lancaster Any chance you could test the 1.8.0 release again with mods disabled? (remember to restart the game after disabling mods). Do you have device specs and/or OS version? May also be helpful to see your log file after a 1.8.0 run. You could post it on www.pastebin.com and send us a link. I think the log file should be located here on MacOS (but I'm not certain at the moment): "~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log"
@AchuTMM What device do you have? Any idea if you were running the 1.8.0.0 beta or the 1.8.0.1 beta? If you don't have any pending updates and the game still crashes, I assume it must be the 1.8.0.1 version.
@CptJacobson What device do you have? Any idea if you were running the 1.8.0.0 beta or the 1.8.0.1 beta? If you don't have any pending updates and the game still crashes, I assume it must be the 1.8.0.1 version.
@freedompilot98 Sorry for all the trouble...
It would probably be really helpful if we could get a copy of your log file. You can post it to www.pastebin.com and give us a link. The log file should be located here: %APPDATA%..\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimplePlanes\output_log.txt
Did you try the 1.8.0.0 beta before trying the 1.8.0.1 beta? I see you didn't have any mods installed in the video, but did you try the beta using mods at any point before this video? It would probably be really helpful if we could get a copy of your log file. You can post it to www.pastebin.com and give us a link. The log file should be located here: %APPDATA%..\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimplePlanes\output_log.txt
@DerekSP I would recommend not doing any modding with the current beta for the time being. If we decided to move forward with the Unity 2018.3 upgrade, then yes, you will need to start modding in 2018.3.something.
@DerekSP We use a third party asset for input related stuff. It was way out of date so we updated that as well for this beta. Good to keep an eye out for issues related to input. Thanks for the feedback.
@JamesBoA So the sound is louder than before? Hmmm.... I assume the 'Master Volume' setting in the settings menu still works to reduce the volume? The distortion sounds concerning... I haven't noticed that myself. What device are you using?
@Oski Are you using version 1.8.0.1? I believe I fixed a bug between 1.8.0.0 and 1.8.0.1 that could cause those sorts of issues on computers running in some non-US cultures. If you are running 1.8.0.1 and still experiencing the issue, try backing up your SimplePlanes folder "%APPDATA%..\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimplePlanes\" and then deleting (or renaming) it before launching the game. Its possible your settings XML may have some invalid characters in it now after running the 1.8.0.0 version.
@DeathStalker627 Do you still experience those issues if you disable all mods and restart the game? If so, links to specific planes experiencing issues (such as "can't fly") are essential in identifying and fixing bugs. Thanks!
@RussianAS Is your friend using version 1.8.0.1? I believe I fixed a bug between 1.8.0.0 and 1.8.0.1 that could cause those sorts of issues on computers running in some non-US cultures. If he is running 1.8.0.1 and still experiencing the issue, have him try backing up his SimplePlanes folder "%APPDATA%..\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimplePlanes\" and then deleting (or renaming) it before launching the game. Its possible his settings XML may have some invalid characters in it now after running the 1.8.0.0 version.
I just pushed an update to Steam and Android (version 1.8.0.1). This should fix the camera movement while paused as well as address some of the camera sensitivity issues reported. This also has a fix for loading XML (planes, settings, etc) on computers running in a non-english-US culture.
@Carbonfox1 Specific examples of quirks or part attach issues would be helpful. Use the bug report form Andrew posted if possible. The more info we have, the more likely we will be able to identify and fix issues.
Please disable all your mods, restart the game, and try things again. If it does work, try turning on mods one by one until you find the one that breaks things.
@RailfanEthan Thanks for the feedback. Are you talking about the inability to manually enter values for sliders? That is something I'd like to add at some point, just haven't got to it yet. We did recently add the ability to manually enter values for some part properties that use the left/right buttons. Its a work in progress though... so much to do..
The reflection tools are just some utility code used to help with reflection code when writing mods. Lots of stuff in SimplePlanes is not exposed via the modding API so reflection is required to work with it. The reflection tools are not needed, you can certainly write your own stuff for doing the exact same things. WNP78 pointed out the example mods, both of which use the reflection tools if you want to get some examples of how they are used and can be extended.
@Kungfuevan As far as I know, nothing was intentionally changed with the chase camera. What specifically are you seeing different?
FYI: The beta is now available on GOG as well. See instructions above on how to enable it.
@Boredom
@SimpleEngineering Disable all your mods and restart the game. Do you still have trouble with the camera after that?
@MrTyTheGreat Not sure... have you tried calibrating it in the settings menu?
@Avro683Lancaster Ok, thanks for the feedback!
@BMilan I was able to reproduce this issue a few minutes ago. I'm working on a fix now
@MOPCKOEDNISHE If we move forward with the 2018.3 upgrade, then we will update the mod tools as well.

@SpicyViper Could you provide us a link to that aircraft that was performing differently between 1.7.1 and 1.8.0?

@DeathStalker627 Could you provide us a copy of your log file, posted on www.pastebin.com or dropbox or something?

@Kalanimcd Were you using the 1.8 beta when it was crashing?
@RussianAS So the 1.8.0.1 version still has the same issue?

@MrAspy We do load our islands based on proximity
@GeneralOliverVonBismarck not sure
@MrAspy Wings and fuselage parts are created/manipulated via code.
@MrAspy We have our own mesh combining system we use. We have used Terrain composer a bit in the past.
@JamesBoA So the sound is louder than before? Hmmm.... I assume the 'Master Volume' setting in the settings menu still works to reduce the volume? The distortion sounds concerning... I haven't noticed that myself. What device are you using?
@JamesBoA Sorry, I don't understand... What is the problem?

After it crashes again, could you provide us a copy of your log file, posted on www.pastebin.com or dropbox or something?
The game log file should be located here:

@Rawhide Could you please report it via the bug report form Andrew linked in the post?
@Carbonfox1 Thanks!
@MisterT Do you have any mods enabled?
@MontyPython Do those bugs still happen if you disable all your mods, restart the game, and try again?
@TheMutePaper Does the cockpit camera bug still happen if you disable all your mods, restart the game, and try again?
@Carbonfox1 Specific examples of quirks or part attach issues would be helpful. Use the bug report form Andrew posted if possible. The more info we have, the more likely we will be able to identify and fix issues.
@JamesBoA Please elaborate...
Please disable all your mods, restart the game, and try things again. If it does work, try turning on mods one by one until you find the one that breaks things.
@freedompilot98 What happened? What errors did you see?
@Chancey21 Do you have a link to that? I can't seem to find it...

@JoshuaW You will need to use some reflection to access it, but here is some info: https://imgur.com/a/4EW08f3

Your post has been removed because it appears to have broken the website rules. You can read them here
To change fog settings in the designer, you will need to do it via custom code. Changing it in the Unity editor in your mod project won't do anything.
@Awsomur We actually do a lot of looking at uservoice
Happy Birthday!
I am always quiet...
