This build is damn brilliant! It flies pretty much perfectly! I used to have a model of one of these with this exact livery so this brings back some nice memories. One of the few airfix aircraft made. One small pointer though is that the front wheel could use less forward traction to make takeoff and landing a little easier :)
@Hedero it’s very very heavily inspired by the P-59. I remember I wanted to make a P-59 but there were some parts of it that I didn’t like lol. Also that plane had pretty bad performance even for when it was made and I wanted my jet to be “good”. It’s flight characteristics are super unrealistic but hey I was still pretty inexperienced with building back then hahaha. I’m glad you noticed though!
I’m not in any sort of way disagreeing with what you posted but just a heads up that I think these sort of political things aren’t allowed on SP. You can probably make a forum post about this but I don’t think this sort of thing is allowed. Maybe ask a mod if this sort of thing is okay :)
It goes against the rules of the game, especially bypassing successor system and pretending a build was yours. I would recommend taking a look at the rules and removing this post before a mod does
For frame rate, you should reduce the drag points. This build has a lot of drag so if you remove half of it, you should be able to add a few hundred parts more
Damn! This looks so good! The one small thing is that the LERX is too large and goes up too far the nose. If that was a little smaller, this would be perfect
This is not too bad! The Me-262 has quite a hard fuselage shape to make but you did it relatively well. Some more wing area, weight, and less power could help this build a bit though. Overall I like it!
@BlitzBombers This was manoeuvrable back then hahaha. The roll rate on this one seems a little too slow but not by a lot. Aircraft take a lot longer to turn than people seem to think, especially from that time.
@jelybaca that makes more sense. I find that I always make a small adjustment and then go on to either working on another plane or something else. Then I end up changing that thing for something else and so on hahaha
Probably for the best they are changing from their bullpup platform to something more conventional and effective. The people I know who have shot the QBZ-97 (5.56 version of QBZ-95) all say the same negative things so this seems to be the right move for the PLA
Not too bad. The proportions aren’t that great compared to the real one so maybe try using a diagram to get the size, shape, and angles of parts right. Overall though I like this!
Damn this is beautiful! The detailing is fantastic and the shape is close to perfect. You should definitely try to make custom control ailerons too. I’m looking forward to seeing your further builds and you have yourself a new follower!

@BlitzBombers it’s a fairly realistic turn radius. Definitely flies in a more realistic way than 95% of the builds on SP
Wow this is really good. It’s so simple but it really feels like a zero. It’s perfect for an AI aircraft because of how realistic the performance is
