@Hedero no worries. It was more of a suggestion of something you can do for yourself since it might make it more fun for you to fly this plane that way. Also those afterburners have a very unique flame for SimplePlanes so it looks cool on most jet/rocket powered aircraft
It would be cool to add a modded engine with a large flame that comes out of these nozzles. Try using the one I have as an afterburner engine on my SU-11 and MiG-21
@JohnnyBoythePilot
My guess for why they didn’t go with the Fokker is the same as yours, it was risky since it didn’t look like the business was going too well. That app blackbird seems very interesting though. The whole idea of essentially a flying Uber is very cool. It would be great if this worked with helicopters but sadly that would only make the price higher and limit its targeted customers. Have you ever flown a plane before and is there any particular airline you’re hoping to be able to fly for in the future?
@MSGamezYXZ360 I had the exact same thing. The plane that really helped with the jump for me was my Dash-8 Q300 because I realised how it was actually simple to make a plane look good (even though that one is rather too simple now)
@JohnnyBoythePilot I love it when people come up with their own fantasy aviation companies or airlines. It’s really cool but I’m not imaginative enough for that hahaha. You can see from my builds that almost all are heavily inspired from one or two aircraft.
@MSGamezYXZ360 yeah I remember how it was when I was just starting and that encouragement from a specific few players who had a reasonable score really pushed me to make good planes. If I see players who have a lower score with potential, why not help them out you know? I still upvote the really good builds of course but I find it fun to also watch beginners learn to build and create great aircraft.
Just a heads up but you might want to remember that the rules say you shouldn’t post religious related content on the website. I personally do not care but you might want to watch out for others who might report your posts. Not hating on your post or anything of the sort but just letting you know :)
You might want to re-upload with the ailerons re-wired as they work the opposite way they are supposed to! Fantastic build anyway, especially for one of your first. Nice choice of aeroplane too
@MSGamezYXZ360 damn I didn’t realise how long it’s been! I have quite a few planes I haven’t uploaded but none have all the little details I like to add to my uploaded builds. Maybe I’ll fix those up and post them. I do also have 2-3 bigger projects that I’m working on. One is another flying wing but around 2.5 times larger than my last one and another is a soviet bomber.
Wow this is very well made! One thing you might want to look at for future builds however is cockpit size. It’s probably one of the hardest parts of making an aircraft but it’s one of the things that makes it look most realistic. Fantastic job nonetheless!
Wow you really did your research on this! It’s incredible! Your builds have improved so much since I was last on here. Great job and thanks for introducing me to this (concept) aircraft and I never heard of it before. Wonderful job!
I can’t do that actually cus I use iOS ao I just get them from other builds hahahaha. So yeah go ahead and save them. If you buy the game off steam you can use XML modding though. Also I have over a hundred saved XML things so if you need something else just ask and I can give it to you :) @zoza24
Well you have to find the sweet spot in terms of how far the CoM has to be from the CoL. I haven’t really explored the results of changing the heights of these two in accordance to each other but I do find that if the CoM is around the same height as the CoT it helps. Also just make sure that you trim while flying! As a pilot in the real world, I can tell you that I constantly need to trim my plane to keep it from pitching up or down. So don’t feel like something is wrong when you put your plane on full throttle and it slowly raises skyward (planes aren’t meant to causally cruise on full throttle anyway). But apart from the trim, it’s really just finding a good distance between CoM and CoL. to make your CoL move without moving your main wings, you can use a scaled down wing which is a small wing that provides the same amount of lift as a larger one. On my B-20C, the small black fins in front of the engines are those scaled down wings so you can take one of those and add it as a subassembly. It’s a useful piece for that. I hope this helped! @zoza24
Hey pretty cool for an early build. I can see you’re on the right path to making some really great things! My advice with how to make a plane like this one even better is to extend its length! You seem to have the wings down pretty well but it’s a very stubby plane like this. Look towards aircraft like the Gloster Meteor or CF-100 for an example of a good wing to body length ratio for a build such as this one. On another note I prefer the second tail. Awesome job though mate!
The next time you make a build like this one where the detail is amazing and you spent a lot of time on it, try to show off as much of it as possible, especially on the first picture @DrunkenRaider

+1I love the little addition of the vapour trails coming from the engines. Very cool!
+1Very nicely made!
+1This is really well made and it flies well too!
+1It’s very cool to see an aircraft as unknown as this one built so well!
+1@JohnnyBoythePilot

@JohnnyBoythePilot Fokker made some incredible aircraft for their day. Such a shame it’s over now. I’m glad it lives on in your virtual airline
+1@MSGamezYXZ360 I had the exact same thing. The plane that really helped with the jump for me was my Dash-8 Q300 because I realised how it was actually simple to make a plane look good (even though that one is rather too simple now)
+1This is a super cool build! Nice
+1@JohnnyBoythePilot Whoa I just looked at that link you sent and that’s so awesome! I might give that a go too actually.

+1This thing is super cool! It looks like a cross between a MiG-29 and Su-27. Fantastic job!
+1This is really fantastic! It reminds me of the RC Cubs I used to fly as a kid
+1I’m glad I found this! This is really a fantastic build, one of my favourites on this site!
+1Wow! Did you build this yourself?
+1Very fun build!
+1L@Evenstsrike333 lol I’ll see myself out
+1@Evenstsrike333 because basketball players are long
+1Is this what an F-4 Phantom would look like if it were a basketball player?

+1This is a cool looking plane! I like this sort of style
+1Holy smokes you’ve built a lot while I was inactive. These builds are fantastic!

+1I’ll check that out @Rhinower7aeronautics
+1No problem mate! If you have any more questions just let me know :) @zoza24

+1I think this is actually the best warbird replica on SimplePlanes. Really amazing job man!
+1Yeah I noticed that but I also know how hard it is to get realistic speeds in this game @Hyattorama
+1Absolutely fantastic! Adding the design to the wings was a great idea too. Definitely my favourite light aircraft on SP. Nice work man
+1No worries man! I can’t wait to see more of your planes! @Deiaa
+1Thanks so much man! I really appreciate the kind words and support :) Again, if you need help with anything else let me know @zoza24
+1I completely understand that hahahaha. I made the letter H once and I’m gonna use it as much as I can instead of making new ones hahahaha @Hyattorama
+1Wow this is a fantastic replica of what I would say is a relatively rare plane. The detail is absolutely stunning!

+1Hahaha I’m glad it got past that. It deserves to be @ThomasRoderick
+1Pretty cool build! Just an FYI for other people downloading it, when turning, it helps to lean forward so you don’t go into a spin
+1This is another great one of yours. The 21 is a really fun plane to build, it’s my favourite of my own builds
+1Love the change from 4 to 90+ mph hahahahaha
