This is amazing! You managed to make your first upload look like this and I still struggle to get any of my planes to look this good! Wonderfully made and I look forward to all your future aircraft!
That’s a tough part count. What year would be too old and when you say max speed 1000-2000mph, does that mean it has to be able to fly faster than 1000 but slower than 2000?
@Brencool35 don’t worry I am too. It really depends on what you’re going for. Sometimes you just want to do hammer heads and other times you want the most realistic aircraft you can get
@Brencool35 I would say this one is pretty decent. It wouldn’t be comfortable to turn tightly at max speed and the pilot would probably come close to blacking out but when I do my test it performs well. I put the throttle at 85%, fly to 3000ft and then turn with the stick 90% of the way back. I then see how long it takes for the plane to turn around. This one is slightly too manoeuvrable but it’s better than honestly 90% of the realistic replicas on SP. The hard part about SP planes (for most builds at least) is you have to find the sweet spot between realistic turn rate and fun. People tend to not like planes as much when they don’t turn 360 degrees in less than 10 seconds hahaha. Manoeuvrability is a decent chunk of the challenge but it’s not everything though! This plane is pretty damn realistic overall
@Tums well thank you very much! I like to try and help people improve when I see they have them potential. I also really like it when other players give me tips so I try to return the favour to the community. I wouldn’t be good at all if it wasn’t for a few key players who really helped me a couple years ago
@Diloph no worries that’s fine! I usually put one in my builds too. The fuel burn per mile traveled in SP is very unrealistic for jets so I use both real fuel and a limited weightless fuel block
@Diloph it ends on 31 December. I’ll let you know your score then :) You did good though so you’ll definitely receive a couple upvotes from the requirements points
@RamboJutter holy cow that was fast! Feel free to post it whenever you’d like! I will not be giving the scores until after everyone has uploaded their own. I’m looking forward to seeing what it is
@RAF1 I agree, it’s very late 40s! I also had that with my last plane I made and I still made it too manoeuvrable, partly because some other users were complaining it wasn’t manoeuvrable enough hahaha.
Those cannons are so cool! Why don’t you try using some xml parts to make the landing gear move without VTOL? I know you use iOS too but if you need any parts just let me know

+1Super useful and not just for subs! Thanks for this
@Ylem no worries! I’ll see if I can get a strike fighter made for this
+1Wow this really is incredible!
Damn your builds are phenomenal! This is a wonderful aircraft
+2@1472 could you do that after doing a quick 360 no scope though?
@Bearclaw189 Hey you’re back! I know you like naval aviation so I thought this might interest you. Would you be interested?

Whoa! These Rockets are incredible! Very nice work on that and cool plane too!
+2Wow! This is a fantastic looking aircraft. It flies very smooth and is beyond manoeuvrable hahaha. Pretty nice work and lovely cockpit!
+2It’s also an incredibly smooth flyer and I love the cockpit. Wonderful work

I also have no problems with the folding wings. They’re very well made!
Just to let you know, the speed is perfectly fine! For a jet made in the mid to late 1940s 540mph is decent at 12500 ft!
+1I also expected a higher part count :p hahaha
+1@EngineerFire excellent! I’m looking forward to seeing what you make. The instructions for the challenge are posted on my profile

+1Damn now this is amazing! I love the idea of jet flying boats. Thank you for your participation in the challenge!
+1@FlyingHueman I hope you do come up with something. I love your builds so I’d like to see one like this too!
@Hedero it’s really great!
@FlyingHueman sure thing! I’m super excited to see the finished product
@Tums well thank you very much! I like to try and help people improve when I see they have them potential. Very very nice! Thank you for your participation in the challenge!
Lovely! Thanks for your entry to the challenge!
+1@RamboJutter it’s always nice when that happens hahaha
Just lovely

@ND40X that sounds like it’ll be pretty cool! Can’t wait to see it!
@Diloph thanks buddy! I’m also following you
@skolpionBR that’s amazing! I don’t think I could come up with something as creative as this
@RamboJutter and don’t worry! I won’t tell her hahaha
@RamboJutter holy cow that was fast! Feel free to post it whenever you’d like! I will not be giving the scores until after everyone has uploaded their own. I’m looking forward to seeing what it is
Oh my goodness this is fantastic! Wonderfully made!
@SovietBun that actually sounds incredibly cool. I can’t wait to see it finished!
+1@atomauhl you can just put it somewhere in the fuselage of the plane and put a camera in your own cockpit :)
@freedompilot98 Awesome! looking forward to seeing what you build!
+1This is super cool! You should enter something like this for that challenge!
Okay this is pretty awesome. I don’t think I’ve seen anything like it. Wonderfully built!
+1This is just incredibly cool. Fantastic build!
Just to let you know, I’m getting my MiG-21Y 3D printed and I used your stand from this build to put under it. Is that okay?
@Rickyjasper2 okay cool. I’ll make a Microsoft account later today and add you :)
Fantastic job! When will you make the Buran for the top?
+1It would be very cool if there were thermals in SP so it would be much more realistic to fly gliders then
+1Very very well made aircraft. For an SP glider, it flies really incredibly well. Wonderful job and what a fun plane to fly!
+1@Rickyjasper2 how do you do that on iOS? I hardly have anything on my computer version anymore but I have entire cities on my phone
@JolyLoly great to hear!

You seem to be really good at naval aircraft with those folding wings. You should take part in my naval aviation challenge!
