Well I once tried to make a VOR like navigation instrument using a missile trapped in a box on top of a rotor set to free spin...
The idea was that you would lock the missile onto what ever it was and when it would turn to point at the locked on objects it would rotate the box it was trapped in, which then that rotating box would be linked to a bunch of gears that would move a instrument pointing to the selected thing, but then I realized after playing with that idea that 1. It didn't work 2. It left a smoke trail 3. You could just use the green box that would be used to lock the missile-in-a-box™ for navigation anyway making this whole idea rather pointless and silly
In fact this idea failed so hard that I decided not to say anything about it and totally forgot about it until now
Well I have two planes that I really like, the Cessna 172H and the Lockheed Constellation
(The reason why I rather like the 172 is because I did my first solo in one and I'm still doing training in, I have absolutely nothing bad to say about that plane)
