IAS mph as that’s what I’m accustomed to after flying an older skyhawk for about 7 to 8 years
(For those using TAS or GS and not in knots or miles an hour, boo your opinion is wrong!)
Looks great so far! One thing though that the windows aren’t quite right, it should be like this so more squares, with the top of the roof not being all a window, and the front windshield shortened
(I may be a bit picky as I do fly Bonanzas)
(Also I hear if you add tip tanks, turbo normalizer and TKS, makes it 100 times better)
@PapaKernels ah I see, driving can be pretty fun, also the drivers test is so overhyped it’s not even funny, probably the easiest thing Can you drive car without hitting something? Yes? Good
Can you park in a parking spot rather than parking in the middle of the road? Yes? Very well! Here have license
The Kenworth W900 is just brilliant as well, I drove a 1976 one for a summer job, can confirm that thing just won’t die
Mack MBs though are brilliant, can be killed, unfortunately the one they let me use before the W900 kinda wasn’t great, made helicopter noises then destroyed itself internally lol
(Pretty fun truck though)
Favorite car: I personally really like the UAZ 469
favorite manufacturer: is actually a tie between Ford and Kenworth
My dream car is either a UAZ 469 or a 1979 F150
favorite truck: is another tie, it’s a tie between the Kenworth W900 (particularly the ones from the 70s, they are also completely un killable) and the F150s
(Although I really liked the Mack MB as well)
And by far the worst car ever to be made is the Nissan juke, absolutely despise that thing, to the point where every time I see one I instinctively scream “NOOO NOT THE JUKE!!!” However it’s still better than the F250 that’s used in the lumber mill I worked at, that thing idk how it still drives
No air forces here but I have several of these “companies” I set up for my fictional builds which are
SkyWolf
Wolfswagon
Gold Eagle Airways
Wolf Logging Inc
Awesome! Just disappointed the rims don’t spin, also I hit a bump at a relatively low speed, and something exploded within the car despite not being hit hard enough to explode, and it does funky things on a steeper hill, kinda this weird fish tailing, anyway I liked it, and the use of the inverted fuselage part to get the concave tail gate is so big brain
So just a few things here about challenges that I’d like to point out to help improve possibly
If you want a lot of entires I’d say make a eye catching thumb nail using fuselage art to draw people in, also maybe just tweak the description a bit, but I see thats been mentioned, which all I can add to that is to put a deadline in for it, (if there is one, I missed it as I’m tired and may not be reading stuff correctly) and off the top of my head, the last thing I can think of is wait till a bit later to host challenges, like gold level imo
(Ofc if you have a great challenge idea and post it in a way that makes it feel non point farming, any time is good)
Hope that helps but more importantly, makes sense
(Sometimes I think I’m being brilliant but am making literally zero sense)
There isn’t a beta development for MP? I thought it was confirmed that MP wasn’t going to be stock in the game, which honestly is probably a good thing
Gone, reduced to atoms, I used the post to destroy the posts
Jk there is a button on the top right somewhere that should say “Public” and “Unlisted” just select the unlisted box and that should show you your unlisted builds
(here is a reference picture if you need it)
Awesome! Actually we a very similar front end loader at the mill I work at catch fire a few weeks ago lol
(It didn’t fully burn, just some wires burnt, nothing bad, so that’s nice)
@FasterThanLight those trucks sure do have their own personality it feels like lol, and yeah for on roads you would need the class b license, but I would assume that wouldn’t be to tricky to get
(I actually didn’t need one for these trucks as I’m just on the mill property rather than on the main road)
@Jerba also just a side not, don’t put full length railings on the trailer, it’s harder to load and unload logs with them, so my suggestion is two pillars near the ends of the log with a gap under the logs so we can pick them up easier
@FasterThanLight yeah I was rather sad when it broke as I really liked it, and they put me in a 1976 Kenworth W900 (it’s the truck in my profile picture actually) after that, but now I’m not driving it again this year as you could probably tell it’s a water truck, which don’t work in winter very well lol
(The water trucks I’m driving are used to keep the dust down at a lumber mill, and they are so hilariously bad that they are great)
@FasterThanLight from my understanding it ended up running out of oil way faster than it should have, then it made helicopter sounds with so much smoke where I couldn’t see the rear wheels anymore lol The helicopter sounds were the cylinders hitting the casing and basically breaking apart internally from it and I was told that it wasn’t actually my fault and it was just time for that engine to go, it was all ready in poor shape, it was running on 4 if the 6 cylinders and would go through over a gallon of oil a day
(this was it if you were wondering)
@FasterThanLight that could be pretty cool, I rather like the MB, I actually drove one for about a week before the engine kinda destroyed itself internally lol
@DilophDilophTheDumDum no problem! And no worries the American conventional semis are rather similar and can be easy to mix up, but they have their own distinct things if you look closely
(Also technically speaking Kenworth and Peterbilt are the same, as the same company makes both)
@NormalPioneer while we don’t say thats not allowed I’d say put a fuel tank hidden somewhere with a lot of fuel rather than infinite, then set the mass scale and drag to 0 on the fuel tank
@NormalPioneer yes you can use fuselage parts in place of logs but I’ll be using logs on the map later for testing, and if you download this and use the cockpit it will count as a successor upon upload
Huh?
(Also you don’t need to capitalize every word btw)

@PapaKernels my family has always had F150s, I personally think they are brilliant, my grandparents have a Silverado, ngl it’s pretty good too

@RavenG59 who ever said that saw wrong or lied, Mp isnt going to be a stock part of the game
@Chancey21 ah ok

I’d recommend having the events off the main sever to a different one to not lag everyone else on the main server
+7@HawaiiRanger nyet comrade I will not be joining
Yay for ungodly amounts of lag
+1Awesome!
@FasterThanLight yup! just another day at the mill!
Awesome! Actually we a very similar front end loader at the mill I work at catch fire a few weeks ago lol
(It didn’t fully burn, just some wires burnt, nothing bad, so that’s nice)
I thought this was an actual car in the thumbnail for a second, impressive
+3Awesome!
@SmSmThe10684 no problem!
Awesome!
Awesome!
Hehehe more drama building up, I should be able to get time to grab popcorn and enjoy it this time kek
@ScorpionSpace yes they are apart of the stork island map by Mr T
That airliner looks awesome so far!
(And I’d love to have my Caribou in the background)
@FasterThanLight those trucks sure do have their own personality it feels like lol, and yeah for on roads you would need the class b license, but I would assume that wouldn’t be to tricky to get

@SavageMan sorry what 737? It doesn’t exist
+1(I won’t be finishing it, it’s crap)
@SavageMan sorry upload what? All I see is a blank box kek

T-35, is a must, if not, you’ve earned a first class non stop ticket in the trunk of a Gaz Chaika to the gulag
+3@FoxBoy78 that’s because KPH is different from MPH, it should come off at 650KPH
@FoxBoy78 there isn’t one, it’s set to 404mph
Awesome!
@FasterThanLight that could be pretty cool, I rather like the MB, I actually drove one for about a week before the engine kinda destroyed itself internally lol
@FoxBoy78 it’s set to a detacher that goes off 1 second after passing 404mph
@FasterThanLight no problem! May I suggest a Mack MB for a future build?
Ah a 379, great choice of truck my dude
@DilophDilophTheDumDum no problem! And no worries the American conventional semis are rather similar and can be easy to mix up, but they have their own distinct things if you look closely

@jamesPLANESii you mean Bonanza?
Welcome comrades!
+1@NormalPioneer while we don’t say thats not allowed I’d say put a fuel tank hidden somewhere with a lot of fuel rather than infinite, then set the mass scale and drag to 0 on the fuel tank
I do believe that’s a Kenworth W900 rather than freight liner, either way great build!
@NormalPioneer yes you can use fuselage parts in place of logs but I’ll be using logs on the map later for testing, and if you download this and use the cockpit it will count as a successor upon upload
10/10 would listen to this ted talk again
