@QingyuZhou Thanks for the feedback. I've experimented a bunch with the engines and sacrificed realism for functionality. The acceleration is very high for a reason. Making the acceleration more realistic is an upside, but since the plane is so fast (nearly 500mph) deceleration is pretty much close to none. It would take a full half minute to make the throttle go from 100% to 0. I don't know the funky trees code to fix that problem. As for the pitch rate, it's actually pretty accurate. The real plane was not very maneuverable at all and relied on its good speed and climb rate to take out bombers. Hence the nickname Pfeil or arrow
@Mtech Synchronization gear that would allow the weapons to fire in sync with the rotation of the propeller to keep it from getting shredded to pieces. It was used as early as world war 1 on some of those old biplanes.
Wow, the scale is nearly exact to the real thing! Aside from the flight model, which is unfortunately (pretty messy) This has to be the best Il-2 on the site.
Commotion aside, it's nice seeing a prop driven sleddriver build. I've always had some problems with the flight models using prop planes but you've just about nailed it here.
@jelybaca You just @ them in the comments of the build when you post it. Not really a necessary thing, i'm pretty sure they'd come across it even if you don't tag them. It just lets them be some of the first people to see, upvote, and download the plane.
@QingyuZhou I'll apply the feedback when I need it, thanks.

@Mtech @rexzion Wow, you guys are fast. Hasn't even been 30 seconds.

+2@ThePropellerIsAFan I agree, but again there hasn't been anything official about SP2. It might not happen.
+1Really sorry for you, hopefully a resolution will come soon. Best of luck to you.
+2I wouldn't really expect SP to get any more big updates. There has been some hinting of a successor to the game but nothing official yet.
+3@ArcturusAerospace text formatting removed the dash for a bullet point shhhh
congratulations, can't wait to see your future builds on the front page :)
Very impressive suspension, I really like the detail you put on this vehicle!

@Hedero Oh, my bad. And np for answering the question.
@Hedero I'm a guy. I'm surprised you haven't heard my voice yet. I hop on the spmc voice chat all the time.

That's not a hidden feature.
+5@Hedero @WarHawk95 Thanks for the kind words! @ProcessedPlAnEs I’ll make sure to notify you when the build is released.
+1@Dllama4 I have a solution. All I have to do is remove the swastika to keep you from being associated with the build :)
+14700 is a lot of points.
@Sauce It's not stealing it's permanent borrowing ;)
@Sauce You shall succumb to the practice of reverse engineering
I don't see a problem here

+1@jelybaca They want you to mention them on the post when you upload it, not sure if you asked them to say that but they want to be tagged apparently.

@brianquaine Thanks, I'm glad you like it!
I think heavy censorship would happen too often on the discussion side of the site if that happens.
