@Firecharge123 use a winch, it's hidden near the swordfishes on my sneezuchii, connect it manually, it basically makes it so that the aircraft is technically "connected"
@ShiroNeko kinda yeah idk, I want it to atleast feel semi realistic both ways, I've ate shxt thinking that I just need airbrakes in the opposite direction and then it speeds like hell on the other way kek.
say, does the vanilla propeller method workable with variable manual pitch or does that just not work?
@ShiroNeko and thanks for the torpedo-listing insight, that has not crossed my mind on how good that would be, cause on my current(or kendog84's, to be exact) doesn't exactly model torpedo damage, only gunfire by cannon
@ShiroNeko I actually kinda need the reverse ;~;, which is why I'm experimenting with this build(cause idk how to electric) with VTOL reverse and all, and yes, it's a cruiser, Japanese Cruiser to be exact, three shaft and sure, brb on tagging you on somewhere gimme minute
@ShiroNeko aha, noted.. so it's a disabled hingerotator yes?(as along as it's not floppy right?), and hmm.. I had a plan to make it also have a damage model like my bigger target ships and I think it'll work if what I think is right..
speaking of which, 6 buoyancies on each side is not too much right? that's the planned sections it'll have, and.. if I ever get around finally finishing it, can I ask your help tuning it's sea performance then kek, I don't have a PC and wave dampening sounds like it's a ship-specific issue instead of a universal thing, my ships plan to also be 45,000kg always(for my standardization-wanting ass) so hopefully I can just reuse it later if the ship is same-sized as my current project ;~;
that of which, btw, do you have any experience or tips you can share with me regarding electric(rotator) propellers? my test carrier Sneezuchii when I tried pushing it past 60km/h(33 knots) sometimes spazzes out, bit always, but sometimes, and I'm pretty sure I didn't mwss the collisions or torque, is it low physics problem perhaps? ;~;
@LunarEclipseSP I mean, is cool :3
that being said, now I kinda wanna make the Mi-28.. someone requested it and I did kinda plan it(well, three months ago that is, when I was making the soviet rosters of helis), but I have doubts as to how efficient I can make it be, not to mention the rockets and the chin gun which is it's own proooblem(like for example, my Mi-24A has 96 parts.. aaa) Q~Q
@ShiroNeko speaking of which, Shiroh, if you don't mind me bothering a bit, how do you make Wave Dampeners? I remember it's something with rotators but idk how exactly, I kinda want to implement it for my later bigger project
@ShiroNeko glad you like it Shiroh, and uhh, that genshin meme keeps getting stuck in my head for some reason, and I don't even play genshin, but it does lmao, and Quebecois.. well, was thinking of Canada so XD
(and please ignore the first two variables, I have err.. *cough* yeah, I like..)
@GUGUPIGEON ...OH, WAIT I THINK I KNOW, okay so, assuming your Zumwalt is at least below 125,000kg(hopefully), open overload on the rotator, add a new line called "damperMultiplier" to the other tab(not input tab) and for the number just add on 10,000 increments(10k, 20k, so on.), hopefully I'm right this time
point of problem is that I'd say you'd need enough runway(and speed) for the aircraft, so a 150m carrier wouldn't technically be able to operate a jet aircraft and instead an interwar biplane or early monoplane with good amount of lift-to-speed ratio is probably what you'd use, but then there's the German rocket F-104(at least I think it was German?) so technically you could, but still.
@LoganAviation inside joke or not, it is effortless on most part like the mod said, just move on man, hell, make it something that has more than 2 parts, stack something do something make the part go wee wee
@Eagleman101SP typically? you just need to take a break, but it could be a lot other stuffs, like what you're building itself, is it something you wanna build and not forced into? is it something complicated that you just don't want to work on it because you don't know how you are going to do it? such and so.
.
personally, I usually take a good break for an extended week(or halfaweek if it's a short one) but I also occasionally take month breaks if it's a bad burnout, then go play something else I want to play or further my other interests, then go back NOT because of duty, but because I WANT to build something cool or replicate stuff
.
in essential, go find something cooler than simpleplanes, then come back to make something coooler in simpleplanes(such as, maybe you saw a cool clip of an Mi-24(and dive into the earlier version which is the A variant which is the greenhouse cockpit Mi-24.. definitely not me), a wondrous great blast of a battleship gun, or idk, Top Gun, stuff like that)
.
sincerely, your whimsy dealer of a Monar, chii. :3
@Graingy okay damn, that's good.
@AWESOMENESS360 oh yeah, he do be chill...... a a a a a a a a
baller, good work ^~^b
+4@LunarEclipseSP oho? is it a secret?
+1@Graingy approximately maybe about 4 years ago? I can't remember exact date
@Graingy what??
@TheUltimatePlaneLover would you prefer biттer god then?
@Axartar hm, good work, I look forward to it.. but also, take your time :3
+1@ShiroNeko noted, worth a try, now how do you do it? chordscale 13+? superpowered engine? maxrpm ludicrous?
@Firecharge123 use a winch, it's hidden near the swordfishes on my sneezuchii, connect it manually, it basically makes it so that the aircraft is technically "connected"
+1@Nerfaddict cause I think I'll probably return to it, but yknow, fair point, I'll dig the grave later
@Graingy dammit, my seasoning...
noot
+2@Firecharge123 sweet, you're all set then pretty much, say, modern carrier? 60s? something else?
@TheUltimatePlaneLover jolly god, back тo square one.
@ChaseRacliot use an autoaim code? there's a lot on the site, hell, nab it from the variable tab in this build
+1@Firecharge123 you know about the liftScale property of wing right? via overload
+1@ShiroNeko and thanks for the torpedo-listing insight, that has not crossed my mind on how good that would be, cause on my current(or kendog84's, to be exact) doesn't exactly model torpedo damage, only gunfire by cannon

(and btw, that means that wave dampened ships don't need gyros right? just needs a low CoM below waterline)
@ShiroNeko aha, noted.. so it's a disabled hingerotator yes?(as along as it's not floppy right?), and hmm.. I had a plan to make it also have a damage model like my bigger target ships and I think it'll work if what I think is right..

oh yah, definitely, sweeeet sweeeeeeet communism technology :3

well I have my HMS Sneezuchii if you wanna look at that, it's an interwar carrier though so probably not what you're looking for idk
@TheUltimatePlaneLover whaт are you reciтing, scripтure???
@LunarEclipseSP sweet, tag if you do, please, Miss E
+1@LunarEclipseSP what can I say? it's baller af for the part count, 10/10 would sukhoi again for the vibes :3
+1@LoganAviation you know what, forget i said anything, you're right, it doesn't bother anyone, maybe the mods, maybe you, who knows, eh?
also i have returned the MG!! XD
+1@LunarEclipseSP sadly no, Miss E, 96 parts max and it's non-negotiable.. i can relate heavily though, agh-
+1@LoganAviation inside joke or not, it is effortless on most part like the mod said, just move on man, hell, make it something that has more than 2 parts, stack something do something make the part go wee wee
+1anyway I'm gonna nab someone's kneecap, later!!
@Tingly06822 I'm proud of you, may the chiil times be abundant and relaxing for you always! ^~^
hm
damnit, that's goood
(and make it fly to make it actually qualify as PEA)
+2and I agree with the mod, it's just kinda.. effortless? so let's make the inside joke even funnier by making it inefficient >:3
+2make a a PEA 1x1 block out of fuselage parts! >:3
somewhere in 2025, and you can't force release date, or you'll fuxk up everything aaa
I hope 2020 season 4 ends, this arc kinda suxks
is study going well for you? :3
case study: me. I have a lot of shelved build, such as a knock-off T-series Soviet tank and a PEA Mi-24D that I can't keep under 96 parts.
oh and, if what you build feels like a chore you don't wanna do, s h e l f that bxtch, it's not worth your energy right now and you can do it later
@Eagleman101SP typically? you just need to take a break, but it could be a lot other stuffs, like what you're building itself, is it something you wanna build and not forced into? is it something complicated that you just don't want to work on it because you don't know how you are going to do it? such and so.

@TheUltimatePlaneLover AGH, I'M NOT EVEN CHEESE-BASED
@ComradeSandman sounds classical, bopping even.
