Bang bang bang bang bang

That's the sound of my metaphorically banging my nonexistent head against my keyboard.
Expect to see a lot of these kinds of forums.
A lot.

As I am incredibly new to this, I don't really know what is and is not possible, at least not at a given level of complexity. Also my math sucks.

Soooo... current issue. Blinky lights.
I want to make a beacon light that is unlit when not locking, blinks when locking, and is fully lit when locked.
This

TargetLocked ? 1 : (TargetLocking ? 0.5 : 0)

Does two of those things (ignore the 0.5, I wasn't expecting that to work anyways). So, what I think I need to do is find a way to get the 0.5 (henceforth revered to as F, for "That Fricken Boolean") to loop between 0 and >0. Trouble is, idk how to do that. I assume the answer is found in some combination of functions, but, as mentioned, me math sucky and I'm not sure what like any of them actually do.
Reading entirely from the guide, I'm wondering if the time stuff is what I want, but at the same time, how would it? As in, why should I expect it to hold the answer? It probably doesn't...

So yeah, I big stupid and need some pointers pls

@PlaneFlightX I have taken your teachings and greatly misused them.
But don't worry! I will let everyone know who to thank!

@Monarchii I mean I guess, but manufactured tends to imply an artificial element.

@Graingy well, if you're broad enough, big bang is a manufacturer of everything

@Monarchii No, Monarchii. Neither sentient rocks nor non-sentient rocks are manufactured.

@Monarchii Uh, not quite. But good question!
The difference here is that sand and other rocks, if not sentient, aren't made by people! Frankly I just don't think it has a good parallel in the human experience.

@Graingy alright, quick question! are inanimate/insentient sand count as lifesize dolls to you?

The verb, to weigh. You have an obsession with measuring gravitational force.
