    @Zoomzoom999 I'd suggest waiting quite a bit before buying it. Watched a friend play it and it's not so feature-rich at the moment. Getting it on steam would be wisest though.

    @EternalDarkness Thanks! and yea the reference blueprint I was using showed the bow to have a shape which tapered in a manner as to have the tip of the nose be wider than it was tall. https://imgur.com/a/N9oHxFA An oblong sphere wouldn't have quite recreated that.

    @MrSilverWolf I've sadly had an experience much like that when I went on Simpleplanes MP with a friend. People popping on with 1k part builds, and continuously bombing my friend on the airfield.

    @hellgaming Copied a method I saw on other submarines, it involves the use of Pistons XML modded to have a greater range with small fuselage parts put on them and XML modded to have a very high buoyancy.

    They carry the sole buoyancy for the entire vessel, thus allowing piston operation to enable smooth diving and surfacing.

    oh! The Man https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/xxCKfT/The-Man Has wheels! I didn't notice that initially. I'll go for the smaller wheels in future builds. I used the man from the original 'man - part' for builds, and gave it wheels on my own.

    Question: How did you manage to get the guns and recoil 'gun' to fire in sync? In trying to add recoil to guns I have had an issue with the recoil gun firing partially if not completely out of sync with the main gun.

    The propulsion system is based directly on zackattack316's ornithoptor, which is a very simple but effective mechanism for flap powered flight.

    For the wings started by building the wing 'bones' with fuselage blocks and hinge rotators, putting them in a manner as to mimick the joints of a bird's wing. Then I added and shaped the wings.

    Then I used Overload to adjust the rotators and get them to properly bend and close the wing with use of VTOL.

    What would follow would be a number of Overload adjustment and improvements to try to get the speed up. Initially I struggled to get it past 100 mph but then managed to give it decent speed. Then somehow adding he bird fuselage boosted the speed in level and diving by a lot.

    I used a lot of Overload tinkering with drag, weight, and especially the rotators.

    This would be great for builds such as the Rocket Boosted variant of the Me 262. Setting the rocket boosters to a different fuel than the jets.

    Despite the game not having Ground effect I like how you've still managed to make the plane look like its achieving ground effect, via what looks like pistons!
