@ChisP It's actually supposed to be an S-300F. I used bare cleavers for the sake of saving parts and since they were the most stable to function when without drag or mass.
@galaxypancho Overload menu, select your weapon, select the part of that menu that's titled after the weapon (Missile, Rocket, etc). Add a new section on the left part, type 'name' then on the right section next to it type the name you want for the weapon.
@THEAIRCRAFTCRAFTER Try it on high physics most of the parts have no drag on them, all the drag is in a single part. Removing drag from parts tends to reduce lag so you might still be able to run it. Otherwise maybe try lowering the stability on the gyroscope.
@ChisP Thanks! This is the first time doing paneling for a ship bow and I think the result came out pretty well! Hopefully next time I'll do it a bit smoother.
@Gameboi14 You think that's odd, the Typhoon Class submarine has the Russian designation 'Project 941 Akula'. Akula...which NATO happens to have given that exact name to another submarine.
What Noname said, specifically try uploading on Friday nights when lots of peeps are off school/work. Your build will be at its newest when the most people will likely be online so it's a good way to help with exposure. Also it doesn't hurt to be (or remain if you are already) Active in comment sections around here so peeps see you.
Interesting design! And this is the first time I see Winches used for Submarines. The turret works really well and the moving rangefinder is a really nice little detail!
@Gameboi14 No I uploaded some other videos recorded using Xbox one captures and windows movie maker 2 years ago. This is my first Video since then and my very first video uploaded in forever.
Just your fourth upload just after a week of joining and you make quite the splash, congratulations! If this is what you're doing while bronze then you're gonna go far!
@RevGeorgeWhitefield Look for my guide on how to build them, it's a recent post and perfectly simple. Plus Overload's available on mobile now so you'll be able to do all that's described.
@typeZERO Already did!. I just uploaded it as unlisted with a link on the original post because I felt uploading yet another modified variant would be upvote farming at that point.
@typeZERO None of the default missiles are used. The SLBM basically functions like a deployable plane with a cannon attached (and a winch to keep it attached so the cannon is usable). Every other weapon uses the Rocket (which is and always has been unaffected by water) as a base.
This is impressive coming from a white user on phone. The Turret is remarkably responsive to inputs, which makes it unrealistic but fun to use. The lack of turret control for the AA and rear guns (from what I could find) is a little disappointing. But overall, a good build! A great download for people who don't got devices that can handle RussianAS's replica of this tank.
This is quite the impressive mechanical build! I was surprised to find that this thing will actually go from walking at low throttle to a jumping stride at high throttle.
@typeZERO Used Overload to make a cannon with a REALLY large calibur, scaled it down to fit, set the shell's lifetime to 0 and linked the whole thing to a winch so that it could be detonated after the torp was launched.
@Culydeath Yea that figures as much, some of my rocket based weaponry tends to go a bit nuts when slamming into the water. As for the Arleigh I'll consider doing one, since I am opening up to ships.
@Minecraftpoweer Yea that kinda sucks. But the Cannon is a great addition, useful in many ways beyond the most obvious! For instance the fact you can turn a cannon into a manually detonated bomb allows it to be used for a variety of different things.
.
You could make the MOAB with its real explosive power, Depth Charges, and in this case simulate the Proximity Warhead of Torpedoes. There's probably more uses people haven't yet thought about!
@Minecraftpoweer It doesn't prevent things like missiles from disappearing 60 feet underwater, I've tested that. Plus these torpedoes can also engage submerged targets, which none of the default weapons can.
.
However! I am well aware of that attribute and have an idea how I'll use it. Thinking any future missiles I add to subs will use things like Cleavers for their base, using funky tree modified pistons to keep them above that 60 feet mark.
Quite fun to take to the water and track! Handling's a bit tricky but that's to be expected given how fast this gal can go. I am quite impressed this android's under 500 parts given the detail. Having legit hair and ribbon physics that work without even causing collision sounds is a unique and impressive detail which looks great at high speeds.
@phuc Oh? Well perhaps even when not detonating the 'nukes' your game kinda poofs with their stats. Try Removing the RPK-1's (black and red rockets on the turret all the way in the front) and see if that helps.
@LeonardoEngineering The Basic version most likely, since when I took the Udaloy out it caused some lag for people even with most of the parts devoid of drag. Might update it with the deck colors though to make it look a bit better.
@Notaperson Just add a note in the description indicating that you used this weapon alongside a link, that should suffice! I hope to see more people making use of this trick, because there's a lotta ideas people can pursue with Nuclear weapons being possible.

@EternalDarkness I think you should check this out, not to say you should feature it buuuut....:)
+1@galaxypancho Overload menu, select your weapon, select the part of that menu that's titled after the weapon (Missile, Rocket, etc). Add a new section on the left part, type 'name' then on the right section next to it type the name you want for the weapon.
@THEAIRCRAFTCRAFTER Tested on Low physics, no problems. Phones must have lower physics settings across the board.
@NFIGMT Thanks! Pretty good for a first time with more advanced paneling.
@THEAIRCRAFTCRAFTER Try it on high physics most of the parts have no drag on them, all the drag is in a single part. Removing drag from parts tends to reduce lag so you might still be able to run it. Otherwise maybe try lowering the stability on the gyroscope.

@KerlonceauxIndustries Since I recall you requesting to be tagged.

+1@Gameboi14 No, that's how it's spelled. It's the russian designation.
Project 1164 Atlant

@GeneralOliverVonBismarck They should really make it part of the game.
+1@Gameboi14 Yes pretty much, also meant to say that in my reply but forgot, lol.
@Gameboi14 No I uploaded some other videos recorded using Xbox one captures and windows movie maker 2 years ago. This is my first Video since then and my very first video uploaded in forever.
Link to the Submarine shown in the video.
Welcome to the field of electric propulsion technology.

@FlamingNoodle Underwater camera mod
+1@Strikes Oh yes I have! Fantastic movie!
@typeZERO That's just the Finetuner Mult-Select used to ghost a few parts so the missiles are visible, the hull is very much there.
@typeZERO Already did!. I just uploaded it as unlisted with a link on the original post because I felt uploading yet another modified variant would be upvote farming at that point.

+1@Mitchellwi I could, with the right adjustments my wing based engines they could function in the air for an airship just as well.
@asteroidbook345 I do, so I'm not sure what the issue might be.
Apologies for the delete and reupload I screwed up one of the screenshots.

@Culydeath Unexpected malfunctions?
Oh crap!!! I MISTYPED THE NAME OF THE 45! It's ASTOR not ASROC!
@UFNNICF5TF Got some torps in mind, then a submarine.
@Minecraftpoweer Yea that kinda sucks. But the Cannon is a great addition, useful in many ways beyond the most obvious! For instance the fact you can turn a cannon into a manually detonated bomb allows it to be used for a variety of different things.

+1@THEAIRCRAFTCRAFTER I could try, I have had my eyes on it among other things.
@phuc Not sure what might be causing that. Assuming you updated your game they shouldn't cause problems.
@phuc Oh? Well perhaps even when not detonating the 'nukes' your game kinda poofs with their stats. Try Removing the RPK-1's (black and red rockets on the turret all the way in the front) and see if that helps.
@phuc I'm not sure, the lack of lag ensuing before that crash is rather strange.
@LeonardoEngineering The Basic version most likely, since when I took the Udaloy out it caused some lag for people even with most of the parts devoid of drag. Might update it with the deck colors though to make it look a bit better.
+1@Dastin Features is a big aim in my builds! Details are nice, but I like giving my stuff fun things to play around with.
@Gameboi14 Guud
@Notaperson Use this when posting links to make them clickable [whatever word you want](link to picture)
