@BOSSentinel I hate to be "that guy" buuuut the force of a 10mi wide asteroid impacting the duo earth at 300mph wouldnt do much. Lets say theoretically, a 1mi wide asteroid struck Duo Earth at roughly 30000mph (A slow realistic speed for an asteroid), we'd essentially end up just like the DUO dinosaurs. So realistically, 10mi wide @ 300mph isn't enough to wipe out a country, its essentially the equivalent of dropping a big boulder on the surface, no real explosion, just a big 10mi wide hole. So realistically, a laser impacting the surface with such little force would have no real impact on anything, just a big hole. BUT, lets say that we DID impact the surface with the force of an asteroid moving at 30000mph, but instead of 1mi wide it's 10mi.
YOU WOULD END ALL LIFE ON DUO EARTH. DEBRIS SHOOTING UP FROM THE RESULTING EXPLOSION WOULD KNOCK DOWN THAT FANCY SPACE BASE U GOT THERE TOO. In other words, you'd kill everyone including yourself

@BOSSentinel @SPWithLizzie Idk where I'm at on this one, 40000 is still well within atmosphere, but they are strikes that cannot be countered by air defense from above airspace, which are also characteristics of an orbital strike, since its in atmosphere it TECHNICALLY falls under international law. However, it is within atmosphere so it technically isn't an orbital strike... ? Idk
