  • [RP] Welcome to Squid Airlines yesterday

    Hello SquidAirlines,

I hope you're doing well. I recently shared a few suggestions regarding the next update of the game, and I truly believe they could make the SimplePlanes 2 experience more realistic and enjoyable for everyone.

If you have a moment, I’d be really grateful if you could take a look at my comments. I’ve tried to present ideas that aren’t just personal preferences, but improvements that could benefit the entire community.

Your feedback and support would mean a lot to me—and could help bring more attention to these ideas. Thanks so much for always being a positive force in the community.

    Dear Mr. Andrew Garrison,

I hope you're doing well. I’m reaching out with deep respect and appreciation for the work you've done in creating SimplePlanes—a platform that has inspired countless creators, including myself.

Recently, I shared a feature suggestion that I believe could bring meaningful depth to SimplePlanes 2: the addition of installable radar systems for player aircraft, along with realistic stealth mechanics based on radar cross-section (RCS). These features would allow players to design aircraft that can detect, track, and evade threats in a way that reflects real-world aviation strategy.

Currently, many players—including myself—spend time designing stealth aircraft like the B-2 or B-21 with great attention to shape and surface. But without actual radar and stealth mechanics in the game, these designs remain purely cosmetic. They look stealthy, but functionally behave no differently than any other aircraft. This limits the creative potential and strategic value of such builds.

By implementing radar and true stealth behavior, you would empower players to create aircraft that not only look advanced, but perform in ways that reward thoughtful design and tactical planning. Several experienced members of the community have already expressed strong support for this idea, and I truly believe it could benefit the entire player base.

If you have a moment to review the suggestion, I’d be honored to hear your thoughts. Your insight would mean a great deal—not just to me, but to everyone who dreams of seeing SimplePlanes evolve even further.

Thank you for your time and for building a game that continues to inspire.

    Respectfully,
    MehdiB2SPIRIT

  • A Note of Thanks yesterday

    Hello @WNP78,

I hope you're doing well. I wanted to kindly share a feature suggestion that I believe could bring meaningful depth and realism to SimplePlanes 2.

My idea focuses on two key additions:
    1. Installable radar systems for player aircraft
    2. Realistic stealth mechanics based on radar cross-section (RCS)

These features would allow players to design aircraft that can detect targets, lock on, and also evade detection if built with stealth in mind. It would open the door to tactical gameplay, electronic warfare roles, and more purposeful aircraft design.

Several experienced members of the community have already shown support, and I truly believe this could benefit the entire player base.

If you have a moment, I’d be grateful if you could take a look at my post and share your thoughts. Your insight would mean a lot.

Thank you for your time and for all the work you do to make SimplePlanes great.

    Respectfully,
