  • *** NEW MultiPlayer Server *** 4.1 years ago

    @WolfSpark Oh I was serious because I want to offer more to our community. Considering we haven't had an update to SP as of late. So many ideas for additions but, getting them to make update additions seems like pulling teeth.
    We have SP and SR2. While everyone is really playing with SP, you have this group of people pushing SR2. SR2 is getting too much attention with updates/additions for how many players are using it. IMO it's a sinking ship and the effort needs to be put into SP or the whole thing is going to flop one day.
    28,152 SR2 Builds vs 652,560+ SP Builds

  • *** NEW MultiPlayer Server *** 4.2 years ago

    @WolfSpark Well, I do see that sort of issue happening. Hmmm
    So, we need to have a separate server with it based on another map. The MP exe mod probably needs to be modified so that it will point to or check for the modded map.

    @realSavageMan @KingOog000
    Are you calling the link to the "X-15 Only" the mobile version?
    I don't need it, I just am assuming this because, the HEADING "MOBILE VERSION" has no link.

  • VIEW UNDER RUNWAY 4.2 years ago

    @SilverStar Thanks for responding
    I found out what it was. It was a ship sail I made. I still don't know why it is causing the issue.
    WEIRD!

  • USS Enterprise(CV-6) 4.2 years ago

    @Kipo Nope, Physics set to max. Everything maxed out. I am on a new 2020 27" iMac with the best graphics card they offer and 40GB of ram. I can try it again and report back.
    EDIT: So, I was able to use the ship. It loads slightly above the water, so this may be cause for the issue. So, I raised the cockpit 4 blocks and this resolved the issue.
    After that, everything went beautifully. I love how you can launch, fly, and fire each aircraft.
    Besides the loading issue I love it.

  • Uploading builds with TOO MUCH INFO AND PHOTOS 4.2 years ago

    @asteroidbook345 - Exactly!
    @Chancey21 - Wonderful idea!
    @Mage2IsTriggered - Good point, a format should be decided upon. Maybe even a user script so those items can be added. Not just a blank area which we have to blindly develop our own formats.
    @KnightOfRen - Chaos is the precursor to organization and harmony. Therefore we are headed towards people doing what they want but, in a formatted manner> This will make it easier on the other participants to understand and absorb the creators work.

  • Uploading builds with TOO MUCH INFO AND PHOTOS 4.2 years ago

    @Astro12
    See, that is beautiful. It has a format. I think we should all follow a format. Also, limit our content to a few examples. While everyone gets to do whatever they want because that is the beauty of each persons personality. We could still do it in a formatted manner. So it is easier to follow, making things less frustrating in the end.

    @UsualPioneer
    2020 27" iMac 3.8Ghz 8 Core i7
    40GB DDR4
    1TB internal SSD & 2 TB external SSD
    AMD Radeon Pro 5700 XT 16 GB

    I had been saving for this one for awhile. My last iMac was a mid-2011. I handed that one over to a friend. I did make some upgrades to it. SSD drive and of course maxed memory.

  • Uploading builds with TOO MUCH INFO AND PHOTOS 4.2 years ago

    @UsualPioneer
    I said the plagiarism comment just to make my point more clear about pointless added content.
    I didn't start this post out of thin air. I have been sitting on it for a long while.
    This is the straw that broke the camels back.
    https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/F62PhI/Boeing-747-300-Mahan-Air
    Not the written description, it was the obsessive photos that did it.
    I did upvote and made a snarky but nice comment. So I am not that much of a dick. That is why I cam here to voice my opinion.
    Luckily, I got you to respond. You are a great person for allowing me to vent.

  • Uploading builds with TOO MUCH INFO AND PHOTOS 4.2 years ago

    @UsualPioneer Too much work lol
    I am on a beautiful new Mac. I left PC back in 2010 and what a pleasure it has been. After switching, I finally knew why all those Hipsters had Apple boners for so many years. Yes, there is one big downside. You pay way to much for the outdated and inability to upgrade hardware. Though, the big payoff is the machine your on will last a decade without needing upgrades. All because, the OS is not a floundering mess of bloated nonsense. See where I am going with that? Too much can cause a slow down and unpleasantness.

  • Uploading builds with TOO MUCH INFO AND PHOTOS 4.2 years ago

    @Madness Trust me, I don't

  • Uploading builds with TOO MUCH INFO AND PHOTOS 4.2 years ago

    @UsualPioneer Does that matter? The point is that I while I may love their build. I think this frivolous drivel they think is adding value is only making it harder for me to UPVOTE. Having you scroll down 3-5 pages worth of photos is pointless. I was there to take a look at maybe 3 screen shots and maybe download and test their build. Then upvote. They just make it harder for me to help reward their efforts.

  • Uploading builds with TOO MUCH INFO AND PHOTOS 4.2 years ago

    @UsualPioneer Generalize. I didn't do any sort of thing. You assumed I was generalizing.

  • Boeing 747-3B3M Combi Mahan Air 4.2 years ago

    Guess so, after flying this beast. It was more realistic than MS Flight Sim :)

    @TheLurkingVexedVortex Possibly they may have TROLL SHIELD on and you may be above the 500 part count

  • USS Enterprise Aircraft Carrier(CV-6) 4.3 years ago

  • PID ENGINE TEST CRAFT 4.4 years ago

    @gbsaerodynamics Are you suggesting using the Constant or variable formula? I can apply a formula though, I am unsure of which one would be used since I don't actually understand it's proper application.
    I am assuming that these two would be the possible choices.

  • some funky tree techs 4.4 years ago

    @Leehopard If you make a video of how you made them, you won't need to translate. Also, Google Translate works well to translate Korean to English. So, feel free to write in Korean. We will just have to either learn Korean or use a translator. Love and Peace, KOREA IS AWESOME!!!

    *Though, sample builds will help greatly. I can just reverse engineer them.

  • some funky tree techs 4.4 years ago

    WHAT?!?!
    That's awesome. Just like real guided missiles launched from from the ground.
    The infinite shell is sick also.
    OH COME ON MAN! Show us how to make all of these!

  • SimpleRockets 2 will most likely kill SimplePlanes, here's why 4.4 years ago

    Never upvoted it because, I knew after beta testing that SR2 was very detailed yet had a difficult interface in comparison to SP. Then the parts don't mesh well at first. It's better now. Then the fact there is nothing to do but launch into space and go to the moon. No ISS station to dock to and do tasks such as refueling and replenishing.
    Once it gets more interactive objectives to complete it will start going somewhere

    I hate rain. Well, I like it to feed my garden during the summer but, I prefer it to rain at night of course so it doesn't ruin the day.
    A dreary day isn't my idea of a good time. 😊
    But, any mod is a good mod. So keep up the great work @Kennneth
