The angle of the suspension is perfect for the front but not so good for the rear. The way you've angled the suspension, the front wheels have rearward movement (softens harsh edges) but the rear wheels have forward movement (makes harsh edges even worse). I would suggest either angling the rear linkage in the opposite direction or making solid axle or trailing arm suspension for the rear. All in all, it's pretty decent
@Berstagator It keeps the wheels on the ground so you have more traction. Sometimes it works and its more stable but sometimes it does the opposite. Unforunately, wheel suspension gets trippy and custom shock suspension is too heavy
This is just a cad render of course. Follow the link down below to see the price. I haven’t ordered it yet as I am rather low on funds at the present moment @SledDriver
Perhaps I could make a photography octocopter and repurpose the camera gimbal to carry a nerf blaster. But that’s a few years away before I can afford it @Awsomur
Cool! More and more people are making real suspension now (instead of wheels on shocks). Unfortunately I can’t make things look good but everyone else does... my only strength was suspension and that’s been taken away :(
Me too! Unfortunately, that would mean building a $2000 quad. The whole quad built up (the svelte v2) will probably only cost $300 for top end components @Awsomur
@Spacedoge12345plane Actually it has vastly improved suspension. Stock little bugger has crappy suspension
@Carbonfox1 I agree. Very burty feel to it
It's quite good!
@Delphinos Why thank you kind person/people
I like it!
Looks good! you could easily turn this into a rockcrawler if you mounted the wheels lower with portal axles
I've got a few examples of what I mean scattered all over my profile

I'll need to come back to Simple Planes and make some crazy suspension soon. Too many people have beat me in the one thing I do well in this game
Beautiful. Throws me back to when I was building one of them. Kinda finished it but its not as nice as that!

I assume it needs to be an original successor?

Yep. My design. It’s evolved a bit more since I posted this too @SledDriver
Wow. Semi finals with a car I made quickly 5 months ago for a different track
Gg @Patrick20206
Yes to you too. Whatever you mean. I assume it means you want to buy it so you can follow this link: https://www.armattanproductions.com/pages/kit_detail/1592 @Jetpackturtle
I do. How do you think I made this? @pk41382
What confuses you? @WaffleCakes
@BlueCobraCreations how did you fix it?
Needs bigger wheels and more suspension travel. That will never be able to get through a rock crawler course.
@BlueCobraCreations
@Jetpackturtle
Does it skip a gate for you guys?
Thanks @BlueCobraCreations
Yep. Doesn’t win but does ok. If it didn’t skip a gate (damn ai) it could win @Jetpackturtle
Id probably get 20s if the ai didn’t aim for the wrong gate. Anyone else have that problem?
That would give an unfair advantage because of the massive performance boost unavailable to iOS. so most likely not @Patrick20206
Lots of jammed props and smashed expensive equipment. Worth it @Awsomur

Umm... I don’t know how it can possibly be that slow. Have you speed limited it? @WaffleCakes
Great work!
I’m not the only one who tries to make real suspension! Good work!

Yep, I make these. Designed on fusion360 and manufactured with Armattan Productions @Liquidfox
Actually, rounding edges will have more downsides that positives unfortunately. It’s more important to lower surface area @BACconcordepilot
@amjones Ive always been able to thanks to finetuner. In fact, I still prefer finetuner to the built in part adjustment
Finally, more people are making real suspension
Oh. I was expecting a little more. Advertise it as mobile friendly and people will love it though
Glory be to pulse jets for they are loud and fuel hungry
You've already got better graphcis than ksp. Now you just need to improve physics which is damn near impossible. Looks great!
Oh goody
Another one bites the dust
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Rippin to the sound of the beat
OUT OF THE DOORWAY THE BULLETS RIP
Machine guns ready to roll
Aint no sound but the sound of speed
Are you hangin on the edge of your seat
Are you ready for this
Are you ready, hey
