@Spacedoge12345plane Actually it has vastly improved suspension. Stock little bugger has crappy suspension

  • The Penguin 7.2 years ago

@Carbonfox1 I agree. Very burty feel to it

  • blue fury 325 7.2 years ago

    It's quite good!

  • KCAIR-PL1 7.2 years ago

@Delphinos Why thank you kind person/people

  • northstar 1000 7.2 years ago

    I like it!

  • brute 7.2 years ago

Looks good! you could easily turn this into a rockcrawler if you mounted the wheels lower with portal axles

  • New suspension test 7.2 years ago

I've got a few examples of what I mean scattered all over my profile

  • New suspension test 7.2 years ago

The angle of the suspension is perfect for the front but not so good for the rear. The way you've angled the suspension, the front wheels have rearward movement (softens harsh edges) but the rear wheels have forward movement (makes harsh edges even worse). I would suggest either angling the rear linkage in the opposite direction or making solid axle or trailing arm suspension for the rear. All in all, it's pretty decent

  • New suspension test 7.2 years ago

I'll need to come back to Simple Planes and make some crazy suspension soon. Too many people have beat me in the one thing I do well in this game

  • Venom-Tech Custom Prerunner 7.2 years ago

Beautiful. Throws me back to when I was building one of them. Kinda finished it but its not as nice as that!

  • Motor Mirage 7.3 years ago

@Berstagator It keeps the wheels on the ground so you have more traction. Sometimes it works and its more stable but sometimes it does the opposite. Unforunately, wheel suspension gets trippy and custom shock suspension is too heavy

  • OFFROAD CHALLENGE *CLOSED* 7.4 years ago

I assume it needs to be an original successor?

  • SimplePlanes to RL 7.5 years ago

This is just a cad render of course. Follow the link down below to see the price. I haven’t ordered it yet as I am rather low on funds at the present moment @SledDriver

  • SimplePlanes to RL 7.5 years ago

Yep. My design. It’s evolved a bit more since I posted this too @SledDriver

  • Gold Prix 7.5 years ago

Wow. Semi finals with a car I made quickly 5 months ago for a different track

  • mildly ok car 7.5 years ago

    Gg @Patrick20206

  • SimplePlanes to RL 7.5 years ago

Yes to you too. Whatever you mean. I assume it means you want to buy it so you can follow this link: https://www.armattanproductions.com/pages/kit_detail/1592 @Jetpackturtle

  • _EX Rally 7.5 years ago

I do. How do you think I made this? @pk41382

  • Gold Prix 7.5 years ago

    What confuses you? @WaffleCakes

  • mildly ok car 7.5 years ago

@BlueCobraCreations how did you fix it?

  • new aircraft concept/art work 7.5 years ago

Needs bigger wheels and more suspension travel. That will never be able to get through a rock crawler course.

  • mildly ok car 7.5 years ago

    @BlueCobraCreations
    @Jetpackturtle
Does it skip a gate for you guys?

  • mildly ok car 7.5 years ago

    Thanks @BlueCobraCreations

  • mildly ok car 7.5 years ago

Yep. Doesn’t win but does ok. If it didn’t skip a gate (damn ai) it could win @Jetpackturtle

  • Gold Prix 7.5 years ago

Id probably get 20s if the ai didn’t aim for the wrong gate. Anyone else have that problem?

  • Gold Prix 7.5 years ago

That would give an unfair advantage because of the massive performance boost unavailable to iOS. so most likely not @Patrick20206

  • SimplePlanes to RL 7.5 years ago

Lots of jammed props and smashed expensive equipment. Worth it @Awsomur

  • SimplePlanes to RL 7.5 years ago

Perhaps I could make a photography octocopter and repurpose the camera gimbal to carry a nerf blaster. But that’s a few years away before I can afford it @Awsomur

  • _EX Rally 7.5 years ago

Cool! More and more people are making real suspension now (instead of wheels on shocks). Unfortunately I can’t make things look good but everyone else does... my only strength was suspension and that’s been taken away :(

  • Gold Prix 7.5 years ago

Umm... I don’t know how it can possibly be that slow. Have you speed limited it? @WaffleCakes

  • Offroad VW Beetle 7.5 years ago

    Great work!

  • Rock Crawler Lhage Motorsport 7.5 years ago

I’m not the only one who tries to make real suspension! Good work!

  • SimplePlanes to RL 7.5 years ago

Me too! Unfortunately, that would mean building a $2000 quad. The whole quad built up (the svelte v2) will probably only cost $300 for top end components @Awsomur

  • SimplePlanes to RL 7.5 years ago

Yep, I make these. Designed on fusion360 and manufactured with Armattan Productions @Liquidfox

  • SimplePlanes to RL 7.5 years ago

Actually, rounding edges will have more downsides that positives unfortunately. It’s more important to lower surface area @BACconcordepilot

  • Twin Jet Buggy 7.6 years ago

@amjones Ive always been able to thanks to finetuner. In fact, I still prefer finetuner to the built in part adjustment

  • Twin Jet Buggy 7.6 years ago

Finally, more people are making real suspension

  • Type 1 Field Hospital 7.6 years ago

Oh. I was expecting a little more. Advertise it as mobile friendly and people will love it though

  • Pulse1 7.6 years ago

Glory be to pulse jets for they are loud and fuel hungry

  • SimpleRockets 2 - Dev Notes 7.7 years ago

You've already got better graphcis than ksp. Now you just need to improve physics which is damn near impossible. Looks great!
