you can set a gyro to brake input, auto-orient on, p-r-y set to 0%, speed and stability set depending on weight of vehicle. So WHEN a vehicle flips, you don't HAVE to restart.

Feel free to tear this apart and save any of the parts in your subassemblies, and use them on your future builds. (The wing gun, the hover jet {in center of build}, Fuel can and the little thrust jet. {on the back block}).

Input= PID(VTOL, rate(AltitudeAgl), 1, 0.5, 0.5).
Where VTOL can be changed ie. Trim, Throttle, Activate1 and 0.5, 0.5 is height control, minimum and max.

with a little alteration you could make this into Mad Max 2 Gyrocopter.
