@dhtv587 Dude, look at this F-16
Wayyy better than what the kicking fish offers
The kicking fish is horrible anyway, it's like 4 years old, no where near up to standards of flight models
@dhtv587 Have you built a 1288 part f-16 that is really realistic?
No so be quiet
Have you built an amazing Fw-190 that has stood the test of time?
Didn't think so
Have you built a highly realistic T-38 which was tested by someone who actually flew the aircraft?
No, so go do some actual research before you complain about people being annoyed at the fact that your plane's flight model is just so unrealistic
Not even biplanes can turn as fast as this 'f-22'
Make props actually take damage and not explode
The amount of planes that I've had to crash gear up and have the whole thing tossed like a ball bc of the prop explosion is mind boggling
Do this by when it collides with something it bends but if its hit by cannons or guns it sets on fire or lowers the power until it dies completely
@ChrisPy Absolutely!
@dhtv587 Don't act like your planes are better when they're so unrealistic
At least ChrisPy managed to get advice from an irl T-38 pilot on his plane so that the flight model is as realistic as possible
@dhtv587 he means it doesn't fly well
you can't just speed up a jet to get it to fly better
F-22s have amazing manoeuvrability and it does improve a bit at higher speeds, but it's amazing at lower speeds and is able to keep a high AoA for rate fights and one circles when it needs to
Actually scratch that the calibre input is diameterset that to 0.37 and you should get a 37mm cannon. As for the rpm, idk :P
Maybe calculate RPS and then edit it from there
I think it's under bulletCalibre or shellCalibre one of the two. It's got an xml value but i just can't remember it...
Make sure that the round is explosive too! Set projectileLifetime so that it is at around 5, because the shells that the p-39 generally fired were on a fuse so they'd explode after a few seconds of flight
Sound engine updates
Jets are too quiet (you can fly past another jet and literally hear nothing) and props sound like they're running whenever they're idle, if anything update that, it'd be a small but nice change
Hence why my sound input or part idea was below so we can easily fix stuff like that
Sound input or part
Allows for MP3s to be used so that custom engine sounds are easier to make.
It also means that we can make blue notes which would be super sick
Oh and get irl sounding aircraft (i.e merlin sounds etc)
@realSavageMan It's sort of hard to make maps for SP given the old unity build and stuff, buuut I'm sure a bloke like you can handle it. Have a crack mate!
I absolutely second this. There should be a part or input that actually changes sounds for certain stuff. I.e a sound block so blue notes can be a thing in-game
Oh and of course current sounds suck, like jets are quiet as hell even though when you fly past one you barely hear it, very unlike irl
One thing that would be good to help this would be (like i said earlier) a sound part or input section for engines that allows for mp3s to be used to for the engine sound. That way we can get props that don't sound like they're at full throttle when they're idle and not even spinning
I agree on the map part. It's just too bland and Wright island just isn't right. I was able to make similar terrain in like 5 minutes in unity when I first tried it lol.
Please make sure that airspeed gauges can be changed between measurement types, a small detail that will easily be appreciated within the community.
I do know that many people use the metric system or knots and feet like real pilots do.
@BaconAircraft Oh my god yesss
One of my teachers used it once and just couldn't get around it, I tried it myself and literally had zero clue how to use it lol
@dhtv587 He plays DCS, which has the most accurate flight models available to the public in the world
He's modelled it off that
@CenturiVonKikie We're not being elitist, he's not accepting criticism and saying we're rude for trying to give criticism

@ChrisPy oh yeah exactly lol
like use some blueprints smh
it's a whole 180mm too tall lol
Make props actually take damage and not explode

with like the SPVR Suggestions page and stuff
Can you update this Dorian?
@dhtv587 Mate if your plane isn't gonna function like the real deal, don't make it lol
+3@ChrisPy omg this guy i swear haha
@ChrisPy Absolutely!

Bruh I can't help you then...
@AAAagent7 I see
still unsure :P
I'm not sure that's where I'm no good. I don't work with cannons much tbh

+3@AWESOMENESS360 Why wouldn't we? Also the fact that the thing's size is so big is rather concerning...
+1Waited for this for ages, Great work mate!
+2Test flying this tmr
sick lol thanks
+1B-29 lol that r-3350 duplex cyclone is such an iconic engine
+1@ChrisPy No wukkas mate
Successor code is
rvPrOp
for ya EDNice build Fox, I like the nose too, reminds me of a B-24
Good luck mate, best wishes for ya :)

All good
Off bore missile shots go brrrrr @BaconEggs
Um… typo?
+1It says Vexed Voretx on the pfp, might be on purpose but just letting you know
Looks nice tho
um... repost?
Looks like there was a few m113s in the mix there!
@EternalDarkness Good idea ngl
@BreadDoBeKindaSus it was made in 1929, so no.
@asteroidbook345 ay that's me :)
Look it's alright
But like ED below me said, it's just missing basic details and other things
@ThatOneThiccPlaneStealer And I respect yours :)
+1fastest updoot in the oceanic region
@BaconAircraft Oh my god yesss
One of my teachers used it once and just couldn't get around it, I tried it myself and literally had zero clue how to use it lol
@PapaKernels Nah all good I'm making my own one too, I'm not sure if I'll post it anytime soon but yeah, keep an eye out for it :)
+1@ThatOneThiccPlaneStealer US roundels just don't fit the boomerang :(
+1this makes me want to vomit
I LOVE THIS!!!
Also, the boomerang was developed from the cac wirraway (meaning challenge in an aboriginal language)
@BaconAircraft Fusion is so good
I can't even use a 3D printer but I still use it lol
