Step One: Buy the game off Steam.
Step Two: Download a XML modding program, the Overload mod is best.
Step Three: Experiment on using it.

Like others have said. I perfer the little infinite fuel trick, but that's just me, if you like it, my opinion isn't going to stop you from downloading it.
Try using the IP in my bio: 157.7.205.136 Try writing the IP down and check to make sure you enter it correctly. @MechWARRIOR57 it goes in the dev console like this: Connect 157.7.205.136 Of course after you set your username. Here are the commands in order when you enter the level and open the dev console.
Setname MechWARRIOR57
Connect 157.7.205.136
Also try clicking in the MP button and make sure the localhost server thing (can't remember exact name :P) is turned off and completly white with no little grey box in it. Because it will think your trying to host the server then. Not everyone will one, sometimes nobody is on but I have consistently seen Bajc0, JMicha4, Ezri, and somome who I can never remember on the public server.
Yes. It depends on where the CoMand CoL is. But I can make a cruddy manuvering plane turn in a dime if I get the MassScale just right. Which takes awhile. It's also fimmy to set the whole planes MassScale to 0 and make it weightless. @ChiChiWerx

Theres a glitch where you have to start the level first. Then enter the dev consle by pushing the backtick key, without exiting the level then type: Setname [Insert Username] Then after you enter it, type Connect [Insert IP adress of server] and you should join. Be sure to trun AI settings to off to be sure your not talking to the AI. To use the "chat" enter the dev console and type say [Insert message] In order to say messesages longer then one word. You have to encase the message in "parenthesis" Did this help? @MechWARRIOR57
I use overload for scaling because I had honestly no idea Fine tuner could do that. :P I do now. Also if you don't have overload I would recomend it because its the same in helpfulness and when messing around. You can XML the parts into so,e really wacky things. @Noriv
