Well Red Vixen and Silver Bullet aren't racing for me anymore. I just made a new racer that has 90-100% reliability, goes almost 1000MPH, gets every single ring, and always finishes with a time of 1:22. But I'm keeping my bird unlisted and hidden this time. It will be unveiled after the race. It's top secret.
I've officially decided to scrap Silver Bullet from the race due to it's reliability problems with the AI, (But the design will be recycled for future designs of mine such as other air racers and fighters) and Red Vixen is out of the race as well.
I developed another racer that will be racing instead of Red Vixen. This new racer has 95-100% reliability and always gets 1:20-1:22 on the clock, without missing a ring. However I'm keeping my new racer unlisted & hidden for now until after the race. The new racer is called Black Phantom.
@Texasfam04
That 1:28 time of mine though would have to be luck. The Silver Bullet (The one that achieved that time) has HORRIBLE reliabilty. It's agile and fast, but the AI keeps crashing it. I think the AI in this game need a redo.
@MEERKAT978
I use to play War Thunder, and was pretty good at it, but in recent updates I think they increased the graphics because my PC can't play War Thunder anymore, even on minimum low settings.
@MEERKAT978
My Silver bullet has some inspiration from the J7W1 Shinden and a modern Long-EZ or a Velocity XL. Look up "Rocket Racing League". That's where I also got the idea for my racer.
Nice, I'll have to pit this against my Silver Bullet to see how it performs. Nice to see another canard design. While you said it's based on Silver Bullet, I like how it's configuration and setup is actually quite different than Silver Bullet. I like that!
@jamesPLANESii
Yes that was the inspiration. The turtle deck, small bubble canopy, clipped wings, and aerodynamic prop hub give it away. However it's unrealistically fast (to give it an edge in the bandit race). I've made a realistic version of this but haven't uploaded it yet. Also thanks for the upvote!
This will have to climb through the bracket system with shear luck. The AI handles this airplane very poorly. However, whether or not it wins, I will be using this as a base for future fighters of mine because of it's impressive performance. :)
I developed two racers, Red Vixen and Silver Bullet. Red Vixen gets a time of 2:20-2:25 (always misses 2 rings), averages 730-750 MPH, and has 100% reliability. Silver Bullet is the fastest with an average course speed above 900 MPH, but has 40%-60% reliability. If it runs clean without crashing or missing a ring, it always gets 1:28. So, Silver Bullet really is the one I should go for but the AI handles it horribly.
Trying to decide on these two designs of mine. ಠ╭╮ಠ
EDIT: Scratch that, I just shaved Red Vixen's time down to 1:54... with 100% reliability....(¬‿¬)
@Texasfam04
Well....I modified your texas racer with a jet engine using the same engine configuration my racer has, and a jet-powered texas racer beat my plane with a time of 1:27 with near-100% reliability.
◉_◉
I swear the Texas Racer is the perfect air racer...
@Texasfam04
My design does 1:28, although that was a clean run, without missing a ring, and the A.I. on my design is really prone to making an error and putting my racer in the ground. ಠ_ಠ
But if the A.I. handles my plane good, gets every ring, my plane does 1:28. So reliabilty is roughly between 50%-70%.
@BroAeronautics
It used to be on YouTube but now it's on Twitch. The tournament doesn't start in 10.5 days. So you have 10.5 days to make a design before the race starts.
@BroAeronautics
The P1B Eagle? I may do that in the future since it's my first "canon" airplane. I might also do a remake of my very first simpleplanes plane, the Thunder Raider.
My racer gets all rings, 1:22, and has 90-100% reliability. I call it the Black Phantom.
Looks like I'm not the only one getting times in the 1:20's. This is gonna be one tight race.

This is awesome! I'll make this my new "enemy". Nice work.
@Liquidfox Thanks!
This has got to be thee first airplane I've ever flow that can drift while flying!

@laserborn88
Silver Bullet is, but Red Vixen may cause some lag. Red Vixen is a HIGHLY modified P6C Super Merlin. I'll upload both here shortly.

0:15 is your time???

@BroAeronautics

Well my design is literally perfect, except the A.I. handles it like trash. ಠ_ಠ
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Is engine modding allowed? Because if it is you are all in serious trouble. >:)
I just brewed one BAD Vixen (▀̿Ĺ̯▀̿ ̿)
So it being mod class, does that mean modded engines and weight reduction are allowed???
Ah yea finally a new race, and xml modding is allowed! :D
lol the ships are HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE!!!
+1How do you get the text blue?
YES I'd love this! This type of idea would be great for bombers and ships!

Because there are no trap wires anymore for this carrier, it's very difficult to land and stop safely.
