@Dracul0Anderson And yes, I have more to worry about than whether I will get 5 or 20 internet points, I build stuff whenever I get a good idea that I think will make for a good plane.
In fact, the only reason I made an account at all was because I wanted to back up a plane I liked making (see my first ever post).
@Dracul0Anderson Why do you need upvotes to share things? And why do you think everything you post needs attention from everyone? You can make stuff for yourself and share it anyways not expecting anything in return, it's what I do.
@Dracul0Anderson But why do you care so much about what others think of what you build? Do you only build stuff for other people to fly? Why not just build for the fun of it? Is seeing the things you make completed not enough of a reward in of itself?
It's a human instinct thing probably: more food > more chances at survival > more chances to reproduce > higher chance to pass on "I want more food" genes.
I guess flashy numbers on an internet website somehow trigger that, which is why everyone likes points so much.
@Zaineman For the "reworks" he usually credited the original builder properly, but he also stole some other things (downloaded an old build, changed it slightly, avoided the successor system and then claimed it to be his). He said he wouldn't do that anymore but I guess he wasn't being completely honest.
The reason he got so many points out of that was because he posted decent quality stuff often and so everyone just thought he was really talented.
@ChamDel78 @MrCOPTY As far as I know the fastest growing player was CCooper, who supposedly got platinum in about 2 weeks by always posting the maximum allowed amount of planes, exchanging upvotes with new players and amassing hordes of followers that way, may be the reason why the "no exchanging upvotes" rule exists.
According to some comments I found he also reacted extremely negatively to criticism and deleted his account because of it. Not the cleanest strategy but hey it worked.

Please read these rules about posting planes.
Please try to make major changes to a plane before posting it. Simply painting an object a different color, or adding a few guns is not enough to consider it your own. In the future please credit the original maker, and try to post your own work.
This is the second time you're noticed in this specific offense, appropriate action may be taken.
I found this on FairFireFight's comments, maybe this was one of his posts?
@FairFireFight Do you know if Rework got banned?
Those who want to see your build can follow you, you don't need to tag them.
That's what I used to do, until I got tired of all those random spotlights whenever I checked my jetstream for new planes I thought were made by the people I was following.
I really don't get why spotlights aren't optional, they're probably the reason why everyone still asks for tags.
@PlaneFlightX Oh god your tutorial is even more complicated, what I used for the HyperProp was EternalDarkness's method which uses a few parts sliced and placed back together, which is also why I didn't add any dihedral to the wings since it would mess up the part placements and the angles would be really annoying to get right.
@Kangy Custom wings are incredibly hard to make if you try to make them look like real ones (example, try downloading it and taking the wings apart), it's simply not worth the effort honestly.
You could just make them round I guess, but that doesn't really look very good in my opinion.
@BeastHunter Btw you have vr right? Could you test the plane I'm making? The cockpit is pretty different from the other one so I'm not sure if it's good for vr.
@Hypn0 Set the button input to "Cycle Targeting Mode" on it's part settings.
If you mean change the function of a specific weapon on the fly, I think that's impossible, you could just set the function to "MultiRole" though.
Too resource intensive and probably really hard to code, not worth it.
Visible Fuel Leaks
Same as above.
Flooding mechanics
Again, same as above.
Passenger seats
Eh, the default seats are good enough, you can build the extra details.
Make it possible for rotators to go 360 degrees infinitely
I guess? It's not all that hard to do currently.
Add a UI type-thing to add passengers/Captains/Co-pilots/Crew to seats.
If you mean like having a toggleable pilot model sitting on the cockpit, yeah that would be cool.
Add a world builder.
Well the mod tools can kind of already do that, so I don't know.
Visible water
Please elaborate.
Ballast
No idea what that is.
An UI for failures
You could already do that with FT I'm pretty sure.
Realistic Start-up of Pistons, Rotators, Car Engines, Propellers, Heli Rotors and Jet Engines
Same as above.
More activation groups
Yes.
Most of your suggestions are not all that great to be honest, I feel like Jundroo should give more priority to older problems first, like finally fixing the undo button and updating the tutorial.
looks squished

+1@OUGHTO The rules do say "no memorial posts, move those to the forums" so yeah, that's probably why.
+1You mean 2000?
+1@Dracul0Anderson Glad to be of help.
+1@ollielebananiaCFSP Thanks but I already figured out how to make it work properly.
+1@Dracul0Anderson And yes, I have more to worry about than whether I will get 5 or 20 internet points, I build stuff whenever I get a good idea that I think will make for a good plane.
+1In fact, the only reason I made an account at all was because I wanted to back up a plane I liked making (see my first ever post).
@XAircraftManufacturer It's fine to say it so long as it's not on the title or description of a plane.
+1@Dracul0Anderson Why do you need upvotes to share things? And why do you think everything you post needs attention from everyone? You can make stuff for yourself and share it anyways not expecting anything in return, it's what I do.

@DerekSP Thing is, BaconAircraft actually thanked everyone for resolving the problem peacefully, which is why I thought it was weird Rework got banned a while after since the mods could've just removed his points or something instead. It makes sense if he uploaded another stolen plane though.
+1You can't sadly.

Bro what
Define "better".

@Bellcat Yes of course, keep all your passwords on your PC to make it easier for any hackers to get them in the chance you get a virus.
+1I found this on FairFireFight's comments, maybe this was one of his posts?
+1@FairFireFight Do you know if Rework got banned?
Looks like his account got banned for some reason.
+1That's what I used to do, until I got tired of all those random spotlights whenever I checked my jetstream for new planes I thought were made by the people I was following.

@CanadianAircraftBuilder Man's gonna break every muzzle on Earth
+1@Kangy It's certainly easier than without it, but still really difficult since the part attachments are so finicky.
+1@PlaneFlightX Oh god your tutorial is even more complicated, what I used for the HyperProp was EternalDarkness's method which uses a few parts sliced and placed back together, which is also why I didn't add any dihedral to the wings since it would mess up the part placements and the angles would be really annoying to get right.

This plane will be the second yamato.
+1@PlaneFlightX My plane should be able to run on phones without immediately converting them into plasma though
+1no i have been locked in this cave for years plz help
+1@BeastHunter
+1@BeastHunter Fair enough, my new jet probably won't have custom wings either, they are a pain to make.
+1T
+1@IceCraftGaming Amarose couldn't get the trademark for that word so they went with "skin remover" instead.
+1In 2 months I'll be able to make a post like this.
+1I'll not do so however since most of the stuff I made is really crappy.
$(".review-button").click(function () {
$("
review-aler<t").hide();
if (redire**ct) {
\ w[indow.locatio**n = url;
}
\\\\
var
request = >>>&$.post(url)
n (data) {.done(functio
})
.fail(fun\ction () {
return false;
\
});
So there was a middle point between the old and the new wasp, interesting.
+1Looks surprisingly good considering how old it is.
@ColonelCanada Because this is clearly just a 12 year old being overly dramatic to get attention.
+1@X99STRIKER Try making a forum and not giving it a name.
+1T
+1Now do it in 4
+1@BeastHunter Btw you have vr right? Could you test the plane I'm making? The cockpit is pretty different from the other one so I'm not sure if it's good for vr.
+1As a smart incoming commenter I am legally required to ignore everything you wrote and ask you this: Couldn't you determine those values yourself?
+1@Hypn0 Set the button input to "Cycle Targeting Mode" on it's part settings.
+1If you mean change the function of a specific weapon on the fly, I think that's impossible, you could just set the function to "MultiRole" though.
If you mean you want a weapon to be used for ground targets, just add "function" in overload and set it to "AirToGround" or "MultiRole".
+1Too resource intensive and probably really hard to code, not worth it.
