@dhtv587 contrary to the strange tone I see in the comments, I want to clarify I'm not at all annoyed or hostile or have a hint of elitism like these guys do when it comes to how your plane flies. I don't even care about accuracy when it comes to the flight model, I merely agreed that the aircraft feels unstable and turns far too tightly, but I don't seek for you to make it as accurate as possible, only that it flies well and smooth. Again, please don't think that I want you to spend weeks studying how the F-22 flies just so you can get it right, this is nothing but a game and this model can be more than good enough as it is, it just needs to be a bit toned down with how tight it turns. In my opinion you did a great job with it, just needs some adjustment with the flight model.
@OPaiTaOn that's genuinely strange, do you have the physics settings at maximum? There are some parts that have no mass and that could make the game freak out at low physics settings, causing the parts to behave in a way that causes the explosion.
@OPaiTaOn what version of the game do you have, it uses funky tree codes that only the latest versions can function with, and I assume the rotors don't spin for you, try pushing the VTOL tab up after updating.
@ThomasRoderick I find it extremely interesting that angled wing panels can actually work to provide stability I never thought about using them this way before, always used thrust vectoring or actual stock brake parts for tailless aircraft, though I have to admit the code implemented here is ridiculously complicated for my tastes LMAO, I managed to get it working on this build using a much simpler code.
Just a heads-up, most of the thrust petals on the nozzles don't move, probably because they're connected to other non moving parts when they were reflected. Other than that you did a fantastic job
Damn I didn't know I'd never get to enjoy the mod I submitted my plane for 3 years ago, who knew then that google play won't be okay with mod support anymore.
@asteroidbook345 oooooooo can you share the degree limiter? Also jesus christ 4000 characters mines has 193 characters between all 4 rotators including spaces and a mere 23 words total
The code these nifty CIWS builds use are ridiculously overengineered for some reason, the one my turret uses is much simpler and i plan on uploading the build soon
So much work and detail and yet a noobie plane has more upvotes than this, seems most users on this site can't care any less about tanks. You did a marvelous job
@GuyFolk that was intentional, the idea is to keep the plane at a high angle of attack beyond the stall threshold, but also prevent it from flipping around so that it uses the wings like drag surfaces in conjunction with thrust from the engines to turn very tightly while still maintaining a forward velocity.
Definitely one of the best thrust vectoring planes on this site, it's easy to handle and doesn't go crazy, super fun to flip and spin it around LMAO, good job!
@AsteroidAsteroidTheBook it's not, I just reversed the joystick controls in the settings, because up is up and down is down for me. Which is funny because if it were a physical joystick I would pull back to go up and push to go down.
@ChrisPy that's purposeful due to their location, with no tail to counter their forces, angling the trailing edge flaps downward will make it pitch down.

@ChrisPy I agree it's gorgeous and very well built, but it could definitely use some Pitch/Roll/YawRate functions for smoother flying
This is not my build, I was expecting the auto credit to take effect but unfortunately I can't even find the original post or user anymore
For such a simple build this thing is pretty damn advanced, keep it up!
@Aweyer26 THE CLAMP(X,1,-1) IS IT THANKS SO MUCH
+1@AWESOMENESS360 thanks!
@TheDeadlyMaurader YYYEEEAAHHH!!!! glad to help, enjoy!
@TheDeadlyMaurader fixed it up, should have a notification about me making a successor, have fun!!
+3@TatsuTheCleaningFairy people like helicopters more than planes
Finally someone who actually wants to normalize simple builds, can't wait to see what comes out of this!
+1@Russkiy98 you're welcome!! You have improved so much!!
@SuperSuperTheSylph Poofie will never!!
@Mage2IsTriggered Poofie's not a protogen, but thanks!
I do not regret making this post

@ThomasRoderick YEP!!!

@Grob0s0VBRa Hahahahahahaha!! Yeah its real sweet huh!
+1@ThomasRoderick OO FORGOT TO TAG LMAO, But yeah great minds think alike i guess! Thanks!
+1Yo this thing is built with extremely good quality, its rare that planes fly this well and fun
@LeonardorHD1 I'm glad it made you happy!
@Nerfaddict if you could it would be nice, there are designs in my head that depend on not clipping through the wings to look both cool and realistic
@WarHawk95 thanks! I'll try that!
@17yearsold this code is outdated
sum(Throttle) is what you need, just make sure to set min and max to -0.5 and 0.5 respectively then you can set rotator speed to whatever you like.
@asteroidbook345 no rush, and thanks!
@asteroidbook345 oooooooo can you share the degree limiter? Also jesus christ 4000 characters mines has 193 characters between all 4 rotators including spaces and a mere 23 words total
@ThomasRoderick sure!
The code these nifty CIWS builds use are ridiculously overengineered for some reason, the one my turret uses is much simpler and i plan on uploading the build soon
@Homemade1 I apologise, considering the game encourages building on others works, I thought you'd be okay with it.

+1@GuyFolk precisely!

+1@JediMasterYeeT not sure about IOS but Android users can't use mods since it's no longer supported by Google Play.
OH MY GOD
@CanadianRAF yeah sure that's what the game is for
I wonder what happened to the plane's creator.....
@AsteroidAsteroidTheBook it's not, I just reversed the joystick controls in the settings, because up is up and down is down for me. Which is funny because if it were a physical joystick I would pull back to go up and push to go down.
@Speediestkid
Thanks! Low physics settings tend to make it rattle, high physics works best.
+1@ChrisPy that's purposeful due to their location, with no tail to counter their forces, angling the trailing edge flaps downward will make it pitch down.
@BnanaX if you're interested in the rotors, here's a build that uses the same functionality.
https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/nuqVj0/Tyrannogarch
@BnanaX though the tyrannogarch has the yaw by rotators function, I think this particular build was before I implemented yaw torque controls.
@BnanaX yeah
Could have sworn you posted this ages ago already
@ThomasRoderick LMAO and you tell me this isn't meant to be UFOey
+1You're arming it?
+1@ThomasRoderick I haven't taken the time to yet, but I might look into it.
