Few things to note, I got lazy with the cockpit so I made it a single seater, and it's missing the rear gear bay door for the nose wheel, but I took special care to make this thing as aerodynamically authentic to the real thing as possible. That means realistic wing loading, loaded weight, missile behavior, flare pattern, and engine performance.
Yes, I'm aware the craft explodes for low end device users, no, unfortunately I do not have a fix for this issue as I do not know how exactly it comes about.
@thelongone well the quest 2 runs on the Snapdragon XR2 and my phone runs on the Snapdragon 888, the 888 has better performance overall, but I still don't have a fix for the helicopter wanting to explode other than run the game on high physics
It's not too much a challenge for my planes other than it being a tanky phuck LMAO, It's a lovely craft and definitely a potent adversary but the guns and missiles aren't as effective as those on my builds even with their auto aim, which gives it poor stand-off capabilities in comparison, overall the plane itself is very well built and hilarious to fly I love it!
@Dracul0Anderson it uses rotators with funky tree coding that makes them act like electric motors, the ones attached to the wings simply spin half as fast as the entire assembly, and rotators are neat in that multiple of them with the same input remain in sync no matter what.
It's a lovely build and looks freaking amazing, but I'd be lying if i said the quality of the flight behavior was just as stellar, i find it too wiggly and feels unstable, as well as it having unwanted roll behavior during pitch, but otherwise it's a 9/10 build💖
This is pretty much what an inverted parasol wing is, I've made similar designs in the past but I'll see if i can get a nice plane done specifically for this challenge
@Canabiss and the point is that it's fun, as fun as you being into anime, or being into first person shooters, or even being into this game and in the community surrounding that shared interest, it's no different
@ZeroWithSlashedO 1. Those are not canards, they're leading edge root extensions with a little vortex generator, the vortex generator is fixed, 2. Lockheed and Sukhoi put their guns in their plane's leading edge root extensions IRL
@Liquidfox01 they're vestigial custom gear bay doors, i had problems with excessive wheel bounciness and i couldn't find a solution so i brought back the stock gear
it's 100% a jundroo'd SU-24, this model doesn't have much resemblance to an F-111 but matches exactly when you search up Su-24 on google images, the intakes, shape of the wing gloves, and even the electronic equipment on the tail and cooling inlets for the elevons' hydraulic actuators are on the dot.
@Th3rmoplylae YOU WHAT

@Viper_Z3R0 upload in discord then just link them in your post like this

+1@thelongone unfortunately not really, low end devices seem to be unable to run It without it doing so, sorry.
@ZachAaronMendiolaT the game doesn't run this plane well on low end devices
+1Okay but like, does it actually big boom?
+3@Echostar it depends on the device you have, for me it runs pretty well even on low physics, unfortunately I don't have a fix for that, I'm sorry
Both looks good AND flies amazingly?! Phuck yeah, awesome job!!! Absolutely appreciate how well she flies, especially the VTOL function!
+1@Dracul0Anderson it uses rotators with funky tree coding that makes them act like electric motors, the ones attached to the wings simply spin half as fast as the entire assembly, and rotators are neat in that multiple of them with the same input remain in sync no matter what.
+1@SimpleCommonerBuild used overload and added "function" in the name section with "MultiRole" as the value
+1@goboygo1 thank you!
@TheHaggisBasher that's weird, in my phone it works perfectly in low physics
@TRD6932 i meant AG5
+1@IceCraftGaming I just put "ammo" then i put "99999" as the value, i also add "autoDispenseDelay" with "0.05" as the value
+4@Mlancer lovely reference

+1@CaptainFritz it can handle 4000 max, it's an S21 Ultra!
+2@Viper_Z3R0 good luck LMAO
+1Airbrakes and VTOL tabs didn't work properly, post stall was active and not tied to AG2, Edited the XML to have the corrected build.
I love it!!
@ItsHighbraker2912 EYYYYYY let me take a look
+1@Ihavesnowball Happy OP Build's Day! And unfortunately i keep discord family only!
+1@Ihavesnowball oh neat!! Glad i have a fan!!
@Ihavesnowball lmao is that what I'm known for? That's awesome
+1This is going VERY good keep it up! Hopefully the flight characteristics are just as good
@Canabiss and the point is that it's fun, as fun as you being into anime, or being into first person shooters, or even being into this game and in the community surrounding that shared interest, it's no different
+2@Canabiss no one here or in the fandom wants to BE an animal, that's called a therian, not a furry
+2Those freaking nozzles LMAO how?!
+3@ZeroWithSlashedO well, regardless, it's just a game anyway
@IceCraftGaming nah, would be neat though
+1@ZeroWithSlashedO 1. Those are not canards, they're leading edge root extensions with a little vortex generator, the vortex generator is fixed, 2. Lockheed and Sukhoi put their guns in their plane's leading edge root extensions IRL
Ugh god, gorgeous, perfectly executed, wonderfully coded, excellent build quality, perfect flight quality, awesome work!!
+1Updated the XML file, it's been improved drastically, especially concerning the pitch rate at high speeds and low speeds
@gingerbreadman sure
+1@ItsHighbraker2912 LMAO
@Foxxo aww that's unfortunate, but that's alright, thanks for the compliment!
@ThomasRoderick AAA THANKS
+1@xFLA13x thank you!!
@idk201011323 it's of the helkeska, but i appreciate the compliment!!
@HariTheSnakk thanks!!!
+1@Liquidfox01 they're vestigial custom gear bay doors, i had problems with excessive wheel bounciness and i couldn't find a solution so i brought back the stock gear
+1Lovely

+3Phat
+2@HariTheSnakk this specific one? You sure it's not the D.20B variant I recently posted? That's pretty interesting
+1@CygnusMei magnetic nose, and its sped up
