Game Description

[A medium sized fighter capable of air superiority and ground strike. Having superior mobility with 3D vectoring engines. It's design can be mistaken by the Super Hornet, it's nickname is 'Griffin.']

Design

The F/A-36 Griffin is a fighter aircraft built by VortX Industries for exclusive use by elite squadrons of the 34th and 37th Advanced Fighter Tactical Squadron (or AFTS). During it's initial research, its main design was based around the F/A-18E Super Hornet with the stealth and battle management of both F-22 and F-35. Thanks to the Ship 2 of the YF-29 Research aircraft, the Griffin has 3D vector engines for supermaneuverability. It also has a internal bay for up to 2 ground or 4 air weapons depending on the mission it's tasked for. Alomg with that, the aircraft has a very durable airframe to survive larger caliber guns and fragments.

They're are some rumors that there's a second model of the Griffin called 'Griffin M' or 'Griffin+.'

purpose

The main reason the aircraft was built was to gain air superiority for elite squadrons when airspace is contested or when ground units need air support. Although its design role is more air superiority than multirole. Despite it being exclusive for the two air squadrons, they are easier to maintain and parts can be replaced easily before or after flight.

features

The Griffin uses some of the battle awareness from the F-35 Lightning II for multi-task missions if it is required to. But the radar it uses is classified and is the most powerful to be fitted onto an aircraft. With that, it has the ability to track multiple targets and datalink to other Griffins or aircraft with datalink compatibility. The aircraft can operate on aircraft carriers, thanks to the reinforced landing gear and arresting hook.
