oh the crop duster that thinks he could be a aerobatics plane and even try to convince a il-2 fighter to train (but in fact a crop duster isnt a good aerobatics plane).
@Strikefighter04 i am german. ok we didnt learn things about the planes from the era but i have so much basic knowledge about most of them that i can research every thing that is aditional needed on the fly.
@sofa2425 oh and the skyly d is from the game and doesnt uses a radial engine too. its a devil in the details until i saw a doku about the fw 190 i didnt know that the jumo 211 and its sucessor the jumo 213 (the engines of the junkers 88 and the fw 190 d) werent radial engines.
@sofa2425 the skyly doesnt use a radial angine and it is based two british planes (one of them is clearly the sea wyvern) and the big nothes on the engine upperside could be inspired by a spitfire but like i said: the skyly j2 didnt use a radial engine. by the way i have a the sky crawlers challenge up and running it ends on february first.
@Strikefighter04 i did my homework. the problem with this weapon mounting is that the drive shaft is the barrel of the heavy cannon and form this reason the engine has tobe mounted under or over the shaft and now how could you do this and why would it work witha fw ta152 but not the iconic fw190. ok the fw ta152 had the engine jumo 213 and that is a block shaped engine with a big, round cooler and its established that this engine wil work so back to topic. how could we mount a drive shaft cannon into a 190: you must make the engine compartment significantly larger so that you can fit the gun in and now you need a trans mission that delivers the engine power to the propeller and heres the why the fw190 never get this treatment: it was to short (ohentli i thought that the fw ta 152 had a radial engine too).
@Strikefighter04 so i am back from fact cheking: the version that used the ju 88 engines was the fw 190 d and this would be the only version on wich you can miount a drive shaft gun.
@Strikefighter04 sorry but this is impossible. the bf 109 used a v engine but the fw 190 used a radial engine and you cant mount a drive shaft cannon into a radial engine plane (otherwise the engine would be in the way and i know there was a version that used the engines of a ju 88 and they were fitting for such weapon but this version was never realy finished).
@WOLF840 the computer doenst like low temperatures. and france only worked on the eurofighter to promote theyr own rafale jets (this sint a conspiracy at all its a fact that france sabotaged the projekt).
@WOLF840 the fun thing about the eurofighter is that the computer isnt realy perfect for that plane. the problem is that this plane is unstable so that you need a computer to fly it but the computer in the eurofighter doesnt like low temperatures.
@drgunblood you did your homework. and its nice. this lil buddy was also used as an artilery tow and maybe in the lauchn procedure of the famous A4/V2 rockets.
@JettStorm thanks. if you want to palce a plane the hurry but there is one point that only some people know: i am german so if youre lucky you can exploit timezones.
@Gestour i donwloaded all of your navy guns. and did a lot of work to get a point from wich i could easily target the bridge of bandit airport just for fun with a testmount called bob.
@drgunblood this is a nice try but the real deal was bigger (compared to your very good model of a VW kübelwagen that looks right in almost all parts). and @Gestour could you make a canon in the fitting size for a gustav railway gun? i think it would be funny.
@Nef680 ok i get only two entry with this plane but the i also know that the challenge went down very quik. im not shure if i ever found this plane if i woudlnt know kyusha on steam (he asked me if i have seen you plane) or if i dont would follow the bulk of the people who spotlightet it (the only one that i wanst following was theowlace).
@Nef680 here is the challenge and the first guy who liked it has build a skyly that was so beautifull that i changed some of the rules only to fit it in.
@Nef680 only say ok. or make a new upload with the challenge cockpit that flys behind it so that it is a sucessor. the other plane that got green light is from kyusha (the entry by Llama was rejectet because he used a minigun).
@JohnnyBoythePilot @Nef680 this plane flys great. and i hoped for such awork of art when i strated my the sky crawlers challenge it ends in six days and this beauty fits all the bills Nef680 please reply with ok if you want that this plane get into the challenge (it wuold be the second entry that fits the requirements).
@JohnnyBoythePilot @Nef680 this plane flys great. and i hoped for such awork of art when i strated my the sky crawlers challenge it ends in six days and this beauty fits all the bills Nef680 please reply with ok if you want that this plane get into the challenge (it wuold be the second entry that fits the requirements).
what the? why isnt this plane linked to my the sky crawlers challenge? i would like it to see it there (the challenge ends in six days and i get only one entry that isnt rejected. the other entry had a minigun and i said forbed them).
@WOLF840 and then they get theyr hands on german teck and developed the concept for the first deltawinged combat plane. i think the biggest diference between japan and germany are that japan is an island chain and germany isnt.
@WOLF840 germany gave japan the engines blueprints of the jumo004 and the rocket engine for the me163 komet. and japan developed own planes with the german designs as testbeds.
@getorge @kickdevil001 getroge is partialy right but the name of the band is truly alternative current / direct current. but the battery cover story isnt true wikipedia says it was on a sewing machnine.
@kickdevil001 i know them but you dont know that the name of the band is actualy alternativ current / direct current. they named themselves after the markings on a portable radio.
@valaszki this plane even looks like a plane that cuold be from messerschmitt (sometimes you get planes that didnt look like they belong to the manufacturer that is pinned).
@WOLF840 yes and more yes. the japanese designers werent bad though. they got the plans for rocket engines and turbines from germany but the submarine with the plans fro the fitting planes was sunk but they had photos..... and used them to build the fitting planes for the engines.
@WOLF840 the space batleship bismarck looks realy fitting. did you know that germany once had a aircraft carrier? it didnt get any planes so that it was used as somesort of battleship with a landing deck.
@WOLF840 the someaka that is shown at the end of the sky crawlers is the plane that fascinated me the most: the entire construction looks like a plane that is constructed with a slight instability.
@WOLF840 i didnt think you get the nyuu reference. i was there because of the enoshima light house that has a significant role in the manga and anime. i didnt even expect that there was so much to explore (and listen too i can only say couple finds cat: oooh neko). i want to go to japan another time and i want to visit all of the places again with my siblings. japan and germany have a lot in comon: both are countrys with a strong economy and both are focused of producing at high standards of quality. i like the the sky crawlers anime by mamoru oshii because of every maneuver and every planes i belivable. and i would visit aokigahara (i hope i didnt butcher the writing) with a guide so that i can try to make a documentation about the why (and if i find a body i would try to get my skills ready and some editing skills so that i can replace that body with a ghost and edit logan paul a a sucider in the forest. boah i was shocked to see gaijin goombah crying because of this idiot. i have to admit my japanese isnt that good but i didnt great in japanese because of lack of skills but rather because i had to much respect of the language and didnt wanted to butcher the pronounciation. over 2000 years of language development are a big thing. anyhow my daddy was a total goofball at the trip. not because he is from the german equivalent of a redneck town but rather because of the fact that he didnt know anything about japan so that he thought that the shoes thing was religious. i know why this is and i said this to him countless times).
@WOLF840 funny. i though youre out of europa. cause germany is strong over here. i was once in japan. enoshima island (nyuu if you know it), the yamato museum and other nice spots were on my list.
@CWhat016 what should i say more if you say all that is bad about this. its realy good.
@SledDriver did you notice that my post is based of the this what shall we do with the drunken sailor shanty.
but nice model after all.
oh the crop duster that thinks he could be a aerobatics plane and even try to convince a il-2 fighter to train (but in fact a crop duster isnt a good aerobatics plane).
+1@Strikefighter04 i am german. ok we didnt learn things about the planes from the era but i have so much basic knowledge about most of them that i can research every thing that is aditional needed on the fly.
@Strikefighter04 did you mean the skyly j2?
@sofa2425 oh and the skyly d is from the game and doesnt uses a radial engine too. its a devil in the details until i saw a doku about the fw 190 i didnt know that the jumo 211 and its sucessor the jumo 213 (the engines of the junkers 88 and the fw 190 d) werent radial engines.

what shall we doo with the crazy sleddriver, what shall we doo with the crazy sleddriver? let min build more planes.

@sofa2425 @MrDoolittle @Strikefighter04 but the fw-190 doesnt have a propeller mounted cannon.
@WOLF840 na both planes are competitors on the market. thats all that you need to know.
@WOLF840 the computer doenst like low temperatures. and france only worked on the eurofighter to promote theyr own rafale jets (this sint a conspiracy at all its a fact that france sabotaged the projekt).
@GlargiBoo you forget the gun that was mountet inside of the driveshaft for the propeller. but the rest looks good for a starter.
@Phoza he is palying on ios he cant use mods.
@WOLF840 the fun thing about the eurofighter is that the computer isnt realy perfect for that plane. the problem is that this plane is unstable so that you need a computer to fly it but the computer in the eurofighter doesnt like low temperatures.

@JettStorm thanks a second time.
+1@drgunblood oh and at least an upvote for your bucket car.
@drgunblood this is a nice try but the real deal was bigger (compared to your very good model of a VW kübelwagen that looks right in almost all parts). and @Gestour could you make a canon in the fitting size for a gustav railway gun? i think it would be funny.

@Nef680 oh and by the way: your plane is now official a competitor in the challenge.
@WOLF840 more or less yes. and i know that japan was working on a plane with the same wing configuration at the end of the war.
@Nef680 here is the challenge and the first guy who liked it has build a skyly that was so beautifull that i changed some of the rules only to fit it in.
@Nef680 only say ok. or make a new upload with the challenge cockpit that flys behind it so that it is a sucessor. the other plane that got green light is from kyusha (the entry by Llama was rejectet because he used a minigun).

ok lets look at it: it has a canadian flag on it and the colour sceme of a latewar me109.
what the? why isnt this plane linked to my the sky crawlers challenge? i would like it to see it there (the challenge ends in six days and i get only one entry that isnt rejected. the other entry had a minigun and i said forbed them).

@kickdevil001 ok then i was right about the miniguns and yes it looks great. gestour has made a flamethrower mod that you could have used too.
@kickdevil001 it works surprisingly well but i found a bug: it got stuck in the air after te tunnel on the raceway.
@kickdevil001 i will try it.
@getorge i checked it up on wikipedia. but truth be told: this is the most badass electric circuit in the world.
+1@getorge @kickdevil001 getroge is partialy right but the name of the band is truly alternative current / direct current. but the battery cover story isnt true wikipedia says it was on a sewing machnine.
@kickdevil001 this is the trouth. the have the named them selves after the the markings on a battery cover of a portable radio.
@kickdevil001 i know them but you dont know that the name of the band is actualy alternativ current / direct current. they named themselves after the markings on a portable radio.
wich batery type is it? i didnt see a plug so it has to be the dc part of the name.
@valaszki this plane even looks like a plane that cuold be from messerschmitt (sometimes you get planes that didnt look like they belong to the manufacturer that is pinned).

@WOLF840 or with other words: i want to try to right some wrongs that logan did. and i am a german true and true (im a even a bit patriotic).
