Gustav Cannon

9,420 ValtTeck  6.3 years ago

The Gustav Cannon was a Germsn railgun used during World War 2. It traveled by railroad and shot a gigantic shell that was made to fire across the english channel. It was scuttled in 1945 to prevent it from being captured from the advancing russian army. Due to its size, it could easily be seen from the air so it was usually escorted by AA units.

@drgunblood this is a nice try but the real deal was bigger (compared to your very good model of a VW kübelwagen that looks right in almost all parts). and @Gestour could you make a canon in the fitting size for a gustav railway gun? i think it would be funny.
