Thanks man! :) yeah, you’re right, it flies unrealistically well. I think I tend to build my planes that way cause I’m not all that great of a pilot. I guess also I like the idea that just about anybody could have fun flying my planes. But you have a good point, maybe I should try making them a little more realistic. Maybe it would help me hone my piloting skills more too, haha. @Chancey21
@Treadmill103 thanks for the upvote man, and thanks for the earlier spotlight, I know that was a little crummy of me to repost the plane a second time. My fault for not taking my time and going over the build patiently before posting :/
Thanks man!! It’s a combination of things, as you might expect; first, you’ll notice that the wing loading is very low, unrealistically low. Because all five wing parts are much bigger than you would expect, especially the primary wings and the vertical stabilizer. But all the wing parts are 0.1 scale and hidden, as I’m sure you know. Also, the primary wings are moved outboard on the “wings” (fuselage parts), which helps a lot with the roll stabilization. Then; pretty much all the fuselage parts and other parts on the plane (besides the wing parts) have zero or very little drag. Also, the entire plane is scaled down by 0.5 from the original size that I built it, that helps with stabilization too. And after that; just your standard trial and error with getting the center of lift and center of mass in the right positions with respect to each other, as well as fiddling with the size of the control surfaces. I hope all of that made sense... hahaha. @ChiChiWerx
Wow this is great! You’re right it is pretty tricky to fly haha. At least for me it is. And maybe that’s historically accurate anyway. But the construction itself is fantastic! I don’t know how the heck you build all those mechanical linkages it is so cool!
You think so? Haha that would be cool! Although, at the end of November I’m going away for several months and I won’t have access to Internet. So that’s going to slow my progress. And I don’t think I can get to platinum in five weeks. @FastDan
Cool. I still don’t know why that’s happened though. I uploaded plenty of builds in the past without anything written in the description... @ACEPILOT109
Yeah, I guess maybe my presentation is lacking? I don’t know. Still, it worth it when I get comments like yours, so I’m not complaining :) really, thank you, that made me feel really good :) I am so glad that someone has enjoyed my build! @F104Deathtrap
Then you pull up a file/build/airplane inside the app/program/game, then click the menu button again and at the top there’s a “Share Aircraft” button. Click on that, and then it should be self-explanatory from there on. @An225Maria
Dang, I’m sorry about that man. Maybe I could post a version without the jet engine and all the VTOL nozzle/exhaust ports. That would probably make it flyable for you. @GenericWhiteGuy
Thanks man, that’s really nice to hear you say that. Maybe my presentation is bad? I don’t mean to complain about the recognition I’ve received, because I am grateful, but I guess I did think more people would enjoy it. @ThePilotDude

Haha right on man thanks :) @Treadmill103
I’m not going to try to fly this on my phone... or even try to dL it... but it looks absolutely amazing!
+1Awesome looking plane!!

Absolutely fantastic work.
This is so awesome!!!! Great work!

Wow. Beautiful plane, fantastic execution, flies great, really excellent build. Great job.
+1Wow. What an incredible build.
+1What a great compliment, thank you so much!!! :) @OldManWinter1945
No haha. But I hope you replace it before it completely dies haha @ThePrototype
Happy to do it :) great work! @ThePrototype
Haha yeah I bet you’ve had about a thousand headaches building these things on your phone haha @ThePrototype
What an awesome bush plane! I had to load it without the instruments, but it flies fantastically well and that wing airfoil is incredible!

Ah man that is so awesome! I’m super jealous! :) @LeonardoEngineering

+1:) thank you @pilot186
Haha! Always loved those games! @CaptainConny45
Thanks!! :) :) @MrSilverWolf
Awesome little biplane! Roll rate is a bit on the slow side, but it flies great anyway :) looks fantastic!
Thanks man :) I will keep doing my best! @F104Deathtrap
Cool. I still don’t know why that’s happened though. I uploaded plenty of builds in the past without anything written in the description... @ACEPILOT109
Ah ok right on. I hope you’re having an awesome vacation!! @ThePrototype
Wow, really awesome plane, I love it!!!
Really awesome plane. The detail work is absolutely fantastic. Great work!

Thanks very much!! :) @Trainzo
:) thanks man! @JelloAircraftCorporation
Haha ok right on @GenericWhiteGuy
That is so cool!!!! @LeonardoEngineering
Weren’t we talking about the Le Bris Artificial Albatross? Or was that with someone else? @ThePrototype
Agreed! @Milo1628xa
Thanks man! Yeah me too, they’re so pretty! @Treadmill103
Haha right on thank you :) @destroyerP

Really creative design. I love it!
:) thanks man!! @FastDan
+1Oh haha right on thanks. So now it’s finished, whadya think? Haha @FastDan
+1Did it work? @ACEPILOT109
Write something in the description box and then try uploading @ACEPILOT109
How’s the albatross coming? @ThePrototype
:) :) @ThePrototype
Haha yeah. I rush my uploads too. Looking forward to seeing the updated version, keep up the great work! :)
