@Imperium If I get to making the fuselage fine tuner, you will be banned from it, and it will open a rickroll in your browser when you load the mod -_-
@BOBCAT well it'd help if I knew what the all script errors were! Screenshot it or something?
But I'm guessing you probably didn't select all the build support options you need in the installer, so you could run the installer again, deselect everything, and then select build support for Windows, and if you want to make mobile mods build support for Android.
@Thefalloutplayr You don't need engines as they are now, you put a NEW TYPE OF PART SOMEWHERE on the design, "car engine", and you then tell the wheels through a nice new GUI what engine they run off of.
Wheels that don't even need that? WHY!? There's no reason to chop off the engine, except to get farther from realistic, it won't hinder creativity or possibilities at all, you just stick an engine ANYWHERE on your design and WIRELESSLY connect it to the wheel, if you want give each wheel it's own engine...
@Flightsonic They did, but it wasn't a definite thing, they said, exactly
we are planning another big update at the end of next month
It doesn't really say before the end of the month, AND it said planning, so while it will probably be really soon, it's not certain (or wasn't, as of the time of the email).
@Theperson by following the directions closely, and note just trying to open the mod file.
If you have already done it EXACTLY as the directions say, then make sure you completely exit SP with the in-game button, then go back in, and if that doesn't work try force-stopping SP or rebooting your device.
If that doesn't work, sorry, I can't help because I have no knowledge of the problem and I can't experiment.
Go to the mod menu, select the mod, hit disable, and completely restart the game. (on mobile you MIGHT need to force kill SP, google how to force kill applications on your device for directions if just disabling and exiting doesn't work).
@QUOTEGOD kindle fire supports mods just like any other Android devices, because it runs a modified version of Android.
If you have SP on it, you can run mods, I tested this on my kindle fire, just use a file browser like ES File explorer or something, and move the mod file as stated in the instructions.
@TehDuck you can post photos, with the direct image link, that first image you tried to post is a google view link, not the direct image link, however if you change it to the one you just gave me a link to, it should work.
@TheDerpyDude, @MaleticAirplanes told me that it happens without the mod sometimes, and isn't the mods fault, the camera gets laggy, and since it's stock SP I can't fix it, sorry :/
what this mod has a chance of doing is adding to the lag a little bit and pushing it over the edge, but due to how the mod works I can't stop that either :(
@TheDerpyDude The main button to bring up the GUI?
I'll do more testing, but on my kindle fire there wasn't such a problem, and if I can't find the problem I probably won't be able to fix it... does it always happen?
if there's any more details at all, I'd like to hear them, but if not, I'm sorry...
I hope I can find the bug on my device :/
@MoterKade Thanks, I've replied on reddit and I'm trying to figure out how to solve problem (though it also appears in the base game with XML editing rotations...).
@MoterKade Update: the problem is called a "gimbal lock", and until/unless I fix it, you can "fix" it by resetting rotations to 0 and then re-rotating them... and if you need to also rotate it around Y and Z axes as well as X, try to avoid X rotation of 270, because that seems to cause a gimbal lock and you'll need to reset the rotations :/
@MoterKade I got another report of that bug, but no known way to reliably reproduce it, so if you're airplane does reliably reproduce it you could upload it unlisted and PM me on reddit (same username, HellFireKoder), and please give instructions on how to cause it?
Though I'm not sure I can fix it as I don't properly understand what I suspect it is, but I'll look into it and try to figure it out if I can :)
Edit: if you don't want to even do unlisted you could upload the airplane .xml file to dropbox and PM me the link to that instead.
Shift + [wasdqe][pick one, each goes in a direction], and/or you can try out the mod I just put in beta.
Either way, but the part around where you want it, but attached, and then use "Nudge" (shift+wasdqe is "nudge"), or the mod, to move it to where you really want it.
@HetaliaAerospaceIndustries Use a file explorer like ES File Explorer or something, then browser to /Android/data/com.jundroo.SimplePlanes/files/ and open settings.xml
@Mkenz upper LEFT!!!
@Imperium If I get to making the fuselage fine tuner, you will be banned from it, and it will open a rickroll in your browser when you load the mod -_-

@BOBCAT yes that's the project folder that you should backup.
@BOBCAT You should be able to, but backup the project folder to be safe.
Or Reselect the base object and resave it (and overwrite), and then save again?
@BOBCAT Try Unity 5.1.4, later versions are buggy in various and possibly unknown ways.
Or, first try Skua's suggestion?
this?
upper-left corner, drag the bunch of parts onto it and release.
Note: only shows while dragging parts.
@Thefalloutplayr in that case, I should talk to you like this:
22928 1011724 17509 1375732 1366718?
And that, is why I "cheated", by using tools instead of wasting 20 minutes of my life...
@ThunderscreechEngineering No, just click the link, and click download...
@TheGuyWhoFliesToGetHisPie Oh ok... please specify in the future. They are very different.
modding?

@Thefalloutplayr The resizable wheels are "drive able", they are "car wheels" and you hook them up to a "car engine" kinda like, wirelessly.
What version of Unity are you using to make the mod?
You want 5.1.4 to mod SimplePlanes, newer versions may be incompatible, you can get 5.1.4 from the archive
@FrankieB Yes, and that doesn't change what I said.
@Flightsonic They did, but it wasn't a definite thing, they said, exactly
It doesn't really say before the end of the month, AND it said planning, so while it will probably be really soon, it's not certain (or wasn't, as of the time of the email).
@Flightsonic Then I'd ask you where you got the information, since they didn't say it'd definitely be before April :p
@ThunderscreechEngineering really? how'd you do that? :p
@Farhad oh, sorry, that's

@Farhad check this out for formatting "secrets"!
@Skua did a nice write up of pretty much all forum formatting here
Go to the mod menu, select the mod, hit disable, and completely restart the game. (on mobile you MIGHT need to force kill SP, google how to force kill applications on your device for directions if just disabling and exiting doesn't work).
@letsgofast11 YAY! :)
@letsgofast11 it should, try it.
@kikasshes That looks great, I'm glad to help :)
@TehDuck thanks, but I'm not pulling images off of Google or anything, and I said simple XD

Also, I don't think that quite fits No Gravity XD
Also, simple icons are far better :)
Here, if you want to fully disable gravity ;)
@TehDuck Maybe when I get an icon for it, but I don't even know what icon would symbolize no gravity ='D
Any ideas for icon are welcome... it's really a small mod, took me less than an hour to make this one XD
@TheDerpyDude, @MaleticAirplanes told me that it happens without the mod sometimes, and isn't the mods fault, the camera gets laggy, and since it's stock SP I can't fix it, sorry :/

*XML modders.
@TheDerpyDude The mirroring problem happens in stock SP, just subtract 180 from the rotation, or hit the stock rotate buttons twice or something.
The glitch with the camera, could you try to describe it a bit better? Now you're saying it happens all the time again?
@TheDerpyDude no problem, thanks for reporting back on it.
@TheDerpyDude The main button to bring up the GUI?

@MrVaultech Haha, thanks =D
@SpiritusRaptor Awesome, thanks!
@SpiritusRaptor Do you install it on OSX by downloading the
.spmodand moving it there then? Like PC directions but with the different path?Thanks, I'll add it to the main post :)
@SpiritusRaptor Thanks!
@MoterKade Thanks, I've replied on reddit and I'm trying to figure out how to solve problem (though it also appears in the base game with XML editing rotations...).
@Nef680 you can't mod on iOS because of Apple's policy, sorry.

@ArtisticFailure the wheels are not, though.
