They don't taper. My dad used to own a 180 and it was a literal rectangle from the base to the tip. And the blueprints show that they stay rectangular.@ChrisPy

This is probably the wrong place to ask but I was wondering if in your next sp update, could you add a slider in the engine editor section that allows accelleration value. So the slider all the way at the top would be max (obviously) and moving it down would slow the acceleration of the power, making it easier to get scaled speed on takeoff.@AndrewGarrison
