The Avro Canada CF-105 Arrow, often known simply as the Avro Arrow, was a delta-winged interceptor aircraft designed and built by Avro Canada. Never fear Canadians of SimplePlanes, I am here to give you a build that represents your country! But without a doubt, this build was quite challenging. I'm really glad I did it though because I'm really happy with the result! By far the most challenging parts were the landing gear and the cockpit. However, I was told that the cockpit was done the "inefficient" way, so possibly, I did all that panelling for nothing. But whatever, it's good practice. The Arrow comes armed with two AIR-2 genie rockets. And, they're my first ever custom rockets! You might not be able to see them very easily though as they are hidden in the missile bay. This aircraft was requested by my good friend ACEPILOT109. Go check out his builds and his account. He's really cool. But anyways, I hope you enjoy my replication of the Avro Arrow

YBR, Anyone?
Well the issue with this airplane is the speed really changes how easily it pitches. I had to make it pitch good at low speeds, yet not too much at high speeds. Very finicky.@KnightOfRen
Sure@KnightOfRen
Yeah@Rapidfire747w
@Hedero yah for a craft from the 1950's it was years ahead of it's time
Oh wow@Rapidfire747w
@Hedero the mk2 was in theory mach 3 capable this was built and almost flew before it was canceled
Well it was pretty successful at the time so it probably flew pretty decently.@KnightOfRen
No it was decommisioned a while back.@KnightOfRen
Thank you!@Iamcat
Oh wow. That's pretty cool!@Woozyliana
@Hedero yes the province that I was born and raised in the local airport near my town has the avro arrow 2 being built
Yeah that's understandable. Sorry for the off-topic question but were you like born and raised in Canada?@Woozyliana
@Hedero I guess I just needed a break from sp to w on other projects and stuff but I'm glad I'm back
I'm glad you like it! What were you gone for?@Woozyliana
@hedero I love it thanks for making. God I have been gone from sp for a while
Oh that's cool!@DimitriIqbal91
Hey, I have a diecast of this plane
Sure thing! @mailgirl
Can I use it for making new painting?
@Hedero
@DeezDucks Noice
@TheKraken3 That's realistic to the actual Avro Arrow IIRC, being a heavy interceptor designed in the late 50's
Hey sorry dude but, I don't think I'm doing aircraft requests any more, or at least for right now. I'm just gonna build what I wanna build. Sorry dude, maybe later.@VVMC
@Hedero Hey there; VVMC here, I have another build request or two; case in point, The Spirit of St. Louis and The Lockheed Vega
Thanks but I sort of toned down the maneuverability at low speeds because it would be increased at higher speeds. And I tried not having it fly like a monster on steroids at high speeds. So I tried to keep the maneuverability as realistic as possible.@TheKraken3
