    Jings! That was fast. Thanks.

  • Primal Exile (No Fuselage Blocks!) 8.0 years ago

    This is awe inspiring.
    It is also a good example of the uneven playing field on which iOS users must compete in challenges.
    That said, this is a work of art.

  • Fokker d7 8.0 years ago

    It was all trial and error on my part. This was pre v1.7, without nudging and rotating and so on. @Tang0five

  • Fokker d7 8.0 years ago

    Nothing major, old chap. The original builder was unaware that if you placed the guns within the hit box of the engine, the afore mention guns’ bullets would not collde with the engine. Saving one from some rather embarassing forced landings, sans propellor. @Tang0five

  • No Fuselage Challenge Simple Torpedo Bomber 8.0 years ago

    @destroyerP thanks. Not far off full marks. I’ll take it!

  • No Fuselage Challenge Simple Torpedo Bomber 8.0 years ago

    @DarthAbhinav yeah, but what took me a year has taken you 3 months. Good going!

    @DarthAbhinav many thanks!

  • No Fuselage Challenge Simple Torpedo Bomber 8.0 years ago

    @destroyerP No rush. Thanks for making a very challenging challenge. I had great fun building this.

  • Myasischev M-32 bis 8.0 years ago

    Ok, the transition to iPhone 8 was very easy and pain free. The extra oomph from the 2Gb of ram plus the new chipset makes SP really fly!

  • Myasischev M-32 bis 8.0 years ago

    Thanks! @TMach5

  • Myasischev M-32 bis 8.0 years ago

    I now have an iPhone 8. The next few days shall be spent moving resources across, so no uploads from me for a wee bit...

  • V Bomber Challenge Myasischev M-32 8.1 years ago

    @Franticmatty Hey, if you still accept this as an entry I would be most greatful. Thanks for the upvote, too.

    Bingo bango, me old mucker. Much appreciated.@Tang0five

  • V Bomber Challenge Myasischev M-32 8.1 years ago

    Thanks, I really appreciate it. I think you really need to be selective on what you detail and what you leave out, when you build on mobile. @tylerdeveneuxmusic

  • V Bomber Challenge Myasischev M-32 8.1 years ago

    @tylerdeveneuxmusic many thanks. Twice!!

  • V Bomber Challenge Myasischev M-32 8.1 years ago

    Decadent western imperialist bomber? Coming right up, komrade. @Tang0five
    Oh, and many thanks!

  • Yakovlev Yak-25K 8.1 years ago

    @ChiChiWerx Thanks! Im really finding my building style, and I have to say that it suits the earlier Soviet types. I also appreciate the feedback from a guy with actual real world flight experience!

    Challenge Accepted. Stronk bomber inbound.

  • FIRST CF GUN EVER :) 8.1 years ago

    Yeah, I thought of that after I posted. You would need to activate both inputs at the same time. Bit of a bugger, that. @EternalDarkness

  • FIRST CF GUN EVER :) 8.1 years ago

    @EternalDarkness Just a thought - would it be possible to clip in a regular wing gun into the barrel of this - maybe synchronising the fire rate with that of the cannon? That way it would be effective against ground and air targets?

  • Mikoyan Gurevich MiG-19S 8.1 years ago

    Right oh! If you need a wingman for that sortie, just let me know! @Alien
    Many thanks.

  • Mikoyan Gurevich MiG-19S 8.1 years ago

    Many thanks for all the kind support! It is really very appreciated. I know that Im not the most popular builder here at SP, but since I really dont build for the upvotes it really isnt an issue.
    I do, however, get a warm gooey feeling inside from knowing that you guys who repeatedly upvote me really dig what I do.

  • Mikoyan Gurevich MiG-17F 8.1 years ago

    @Tang0five - many thanks
    @ChiChiWerx - I was thinking the self same thing!

    If you gents like this, youre gonna love whats next....

  • Mikoyan Gurevich MiG-17 PFU 8.1 years ago

    Quick tip; to make this AI friendly, replace the missiles with stock guardians. Or alternatively, set the AG for each missile to «all».

  • Buccaneer S2B 8.1 years ago

    Christ! Late the party as always. How I missed this I will never know.
    Spiffing Buck, old bean. This is a really very, very nice model.

  • North American F-86a Sabre 8.1 years ago

    @Alien, old boy! How the devil are you? Many thanks for the kind comments.

  • Bristol Bombay 8.1 years ago

    Very nice. I could never for the life of me understand the RAF preoccupation with bomber/transports. Is was a crap idea.

    This model is not crap, however. It is very, very good. It checks all the boxes. Props and roundels, old chap, props and roundels.

  • North American F-86a Sabre 8.1 years ago

    Thanks matey! @Tang0five I read a fair bit of MiG-15 v Sabre stuff after I was done building them and a lot of what is widely accepted (MiG climbed faster, had inferior gunsight, heavier armament, more unstable gun platform, slower top speed, could out turn Sabre etc etc etc.) actually proved to be true of my two models. Mainly luck, I guess, and that the shapes are reasonably accurate. The SP physics engine did the rest.

  • North American F-86a Sabre 8.1 years ago

    @SledDriver Muchos Gracias compadre

  • North American F-86a Sabre 8.1 years ago

    Oh, and FYI I know that the left side horizontal stabiliser is at an angle - it is to counter a bloody irritating auto roll. A small price to pay, I think.

  • North American F-86a Sabre 8.1 years ago

    @SSSvaSSa Danke!
    @EternalDarkness Merci!

  • Mikoyan Gurevich MiG-15 bis 8.1 years ago

    @Tang0five Cheers very muchly.

  • Avro Lancaster B.III Special 8.1 years ago

    @Alien Now now old boy; when you were perfecting the art of the seat stick interface on the worlds most exciting interceptor, I was building Airfix models, running around getting drunk and generally up to no good with the lads of 2466 Squadron (atc). Learning the jingo was compulsory. I was too young to be on the books, but my Grandad and Uncle were W/Os so I was allowed to tag along.

    Anyway, point being that you have your wings. I have the lingo, a dodgy knee from an evasion exercise that went pear shaped in the woods (a big lass fell on me) and know what polo mints dipped in chippy sauce taste like...

    @Weaverfish

    Credit where credit it due - you have some wonderful building techniques. I would appreciate your feedback on this model, if it's ok?
