Assign one action group to the hinges/ rotators for these control surfaces.
Install a gyro to hold her level and assign an action group to it.
Assign your turrets to be controlled by pitch and roll.
Assign another action group to the hinges/rotors that allow the turret to move.
Assign the SAME ag to the guns in the turret.
This set up allows you to uncouple the flight controls, auto stabilise the kite, arm and disarm the turret guns AND control the turret with pitch / roll. My lancaster, B-50 and Stirling all do this, to an extent.
Sorry guv. Its the XIVe next. The five blade prop bubble top one. THEN maybe a Vc trop (ala Battle of Malta), perhaps? OH! And maybe then an Aussie Mk.VIII, and a PR version? And of course the Seafire, the Seafang and the Spiteful... @Tang0five
If you want to know about custom gear and interiors, all made on iPhone, take a look at some of my stuff, take it apart and see if you can duplucate it. Flexy wings are not my forte, im affraid. Downloading collision free and massless parts is also a big help, since we iOS guys cant modify xml code... Let me know if you have any specific questions?
Could be... apparently the Spits’ castoring tailwheel was a PITA and only effectively countered by differential braking on the main wheels. I cant build a model with differential braking... So its power up, pucker up and hope for the best on take off, im affraid.@Treadmill103
Spotlighting and upvoting! Looks good (apart from the insignia looking a lille like pretty flowers) and flies ok (this is a bomber, NOT a fighter, and handles just fine. Really needs the ability to trim her pitch attitude, though.
Most excellent my dear fellow. Happy days! I’ll let you know of I’m struggling.
Oh, and I see you have the RAF type A1 fuselage roundel there. If you happen to have a type C1 (thinner yellow and white bands), that would be lovely. @RamboJutter
You know, Ive never understood those jumped up self important little twats who get all het up over people building what, in reality, are tributes to their designs. Of course you like the design and so long as you recieve no income due to the model then there really is no injury to the designer. Eejits. @RamboJutter
I have taken your kite apart and looked to see if there is any hidden dead weight anywhere, but couldnt find anything odd. I did, however, find that you use a lot of regular fuselage pieces. Quite a lot.
By this I mean that you use a great many more to build a simple shape than is strictly required. This all adds weight and I think it is the main problem in this instance. Think conservatively; less is more. Or build using a mixture of massless and regular fuselage blocks.
But, this really does look nice and you seem like a good chap that is open minded and willing to learn, so all power to you. I look forward to the next build! @ainanen
The ability to edit the custom colour pallette it the one thing I feel like Im missing out on most, as an iOS jockey. That and the xml editing. @RamboJutter
My pleasure! Another tip I have is to use hinges and rotators with the base mesh disabled. These can be found on the site, if you look. If you can XML mod yourself, then you can make your own and even scale them. Try searching here for the XML Cheat Bench. There are a lot of useful parts there. @pavthepilot
I agree. I was playing around seeing how fast I could make the design go without «cheating» (i.e. Stuffing a jet up her chuff, as it were). This is the result.
Also the last one. I promise. @Tang0five
Try this one.

It is an improved version with less drag and a bigger prop. A real rocket! @Tang0five
Thanks matey! That was exactly my thoughts, too. A Gladiator monoplane. With a bit of FW-190 and Curtis-Wright CW-21 Demon thrown in. Glad you like it!
Im really keen to do a series of these, paralleling the development of the 30s/40s Hawker kites. Starting here, with something that looks like Camms original proposal to the air ministry request f.7/30 (that spawned the Spit and the Hurricane) and ending up with something like the Sea Fury. @Tang0five

@Alien
Thanks! Its the scaled down structural wing that does it. @atgxtg
Thanks! @XjayIndustrys
Cheers, old boy! @Tang0five

Thanks! Not seen you for a wee while; glad to see you back! @ChiChiWerx
Cheers! You should check out its little brothers too! @PancakeAddiction
@Ephwurd Thanks to you too!

Most kind of you! The Mk.XII is also on the way. All clipped wings and Griffoned up... @Tang0five
Very cool.

Only one more thing; Is there any chance you could make these weightless? For us poor iOS types? @RamboJutter
I like this.
I love the Bioshock / steam punk feel of this design. Bloody well executed, too.
Thanks, but the level of detail and technical ability shown here is really astounding. @RodWan
Makes my crap look like crap. Very, very, VERY good build.
I just attached it to an existing pylon and nudged the whole assembly up into it. But your way works too :-) @RamboJutter
You, sir are a genius. A lovely, lovely genius.
You are a gentleman and a scholar, sir.
You’re a good man, man.@RamboJutter

Oh, and yes please to the curved roundel template! Im thinking of building a Spitfire, y’see...
Beyooodiful. And it runs on my iPhone 8.

Christ on a bike! Where do you find all these what if models!? This is lovely, also T.
It is. Not a standard load out, but not beyond the realm of possibility. Thanks! @Kaos
Very nice. I love the details.

Looks nice. But Im sorry to say that it flies like a house brick. How did you manage to get it to weigh 26,000 lbs?
If you are building models and posting them merely for the upvotes, then you’re doing it wrong.
But the US two pin plug, though...

Oh, FYI, a glaive is a stabby swordy spear thing.

Rodger that. Maybe you just havent met the right flap yet? ;-)@ChiChiWerx
Agreed! One more polished alloy beastie to go then Im done. Honest. @Tang0five
Agreed. Perhaps for the final version I have brewing? @Tang0five
Many thanks! Always an appreciated compliment coming from you, old chap! @Treadmill103
