I'm in, my Teranor is up as a successor.

  • dual engine challenge 7.4 years ago

OK, my new entry is in. It's the Senji, and it's up as a successor.

  • dual engine challenge 7.4 years ago

@RaidenSquad OK, I'll make a new one. Is it OK to change the size of the wings, as long as the engines are on them?

  • dual engine challenge 7.4 years ago

@RaidenSquad Please check again, I think you've made a mistake. The Starbird has two of the engines you supplied for this contest, I didn't change anything on them.

Also, I'm not sure what you're saying the problem is with the body. Yes, I used fuselage blocks - the contest says we can use fuselage stuff and you included fuselage blocks with the engine. What's the problem?

I'd quite like to do another car race, but make it an unlimited class one. Let's have some jet and prop powered cars!

  • FINISHED Micro Plane Challenge 7.4 years ago

I'm in, my Vyop is up as a successor.

  • rebuild and reimprove challenge (Enemy) 7.4 years ago

I'm in, my Emmem is up as a successor.

  • Aerowarrior 7.4 years ago

Just watched our race, it was a good one and you definitely had the better car. Well done!

  • Original Parts Challenge 7.4 years ago

I'm in, my Tangrim is up as a successor.

  • Gold Prix 7.4 years ago

Well, I'm in with an upgraded version of my Airstrip Drag entry. It's a reliable 40 second car, but doesn't have disabled collisions. Bring on the crashes!

  • Care Package Challenge 7.4 years ago

    Thank you very much!

  • GPM-40 Cykris 7.4 years ago

@cooladdy257 In a power dive, I managed to get this up to 2000 mph, only about Mach 2.6.

  • mach challenge 7.4 years ago

I'm in, my Cykris is up as a successor.

  • Gold Prix 7.4 years ago

@OliverOne brucethemoose has very kindly put some downforce wings up for people to use.

  • GPM-39.2 Lurmel Mk. 2 7.4 years ago

@UMBRELLA1120 I've never played that - but I just looked up the plane and you're right, they do look pretty similar.

  • Gold Prix 7.4 years ago

@Karma 1:26 is a fairly slow time for this track. If you can make it faster, that would be good. If you can't make it faster, don't worry too much - there are always lots of crashes in the tournament, so a slow one that doesn't crash can do quite well.

  • Gold Prix 7.5 years ago

First attempt gets me a time of 1:05. Now to add more speed!

  • Care Package Challenge 7.5 years ago

I'm in, my Tayon Trimotor is up as a successor.

  • Turkey of the Tarmac (STOLCHALLENGE) 7.5 years ago

Very nice! Super fast to take off, flies nicely and has an impressively low stall speed for the short landings.

  • Indy Air Race 7.5 years ago

@ESIOTROT121 If you'd like to try using parts that have collisions disabled, JakeTheDogg helpfully put up a pack of parts with that already done. I used them to build my plane for this tournament.

  • Indy Air Race 7.5 years ago

Congratulations again, KiNo. Will anyone ever beat you in a tournament?

  • D-AMPF wespe VI 7.5 years ago

I don't know how you do it, but once again you're in a different league to everyone else. An excellent machine.

  • ProbbKnobb 7.5 years ago

We had a good race in the tournament. Nice plane.

  • Indy Air Race 7.5 years ago

@Gestour Was your plane up when Andrew ran his rounds of checking the planes for illegal mods? It might have been downloaded for those.

  • Indy Air Race 7.5 years ago

@Gestour If it's got 1 download, that'll be it being downloaded to the tournament computer.

  • Indy Air Race 7.5 years ago

And the deadline has passed! Let's get racing!
I'm betting there'll be lots of crashes.

  • Indy Air Race 7.5 years ago

@Tully2001 0:39 with a similar level of reliability.

  • Indy Air Race 7.5 years ago

Thanks, Delphinus! I've gone for a last-minute change of design and managed to shave a few seconds off my time. I think it's pretty good - as long as the AI behaves itself.

    May the best plane win!

  • Indy Air Race 7.5 years ago

@AudioDud3 It will be streamed on Twitch. A link to the stream will be on the tournament page shortly after the deadline for submitting entries passes.

  • Scorpion Light Tank M4A2(90) Parachute Contest 7.5 years ago

My first official entry to the contest, the Maudem, is up as a successor.

  • (Failed) Heavy Transport Concept 7.5 years ago

@Pilotmario It doesn't matter that much, this design wasn't going to work anyway. I'm now thinking of a much smaller and simpler plane with fixed landing gear.

  • (Failed) Heavy Transport Concept 7.5 years ago

@TemDesBur It would be cool - if it worked. Sadly, it tends to destroy itself.

  • Scorpion Light Tank M4A2(90) Parachute Contest 7.5 years ago

I've uploaded a successor, but it is not my entry to this contest - it's a failure that's interesting enough to share, and that others might want to play with.

  • Indy Air Race 7.5 years ago

@CrazyBrick15 Then you've got nothing to worry about. As long as you're using the T1000, T2000 or T3000 propeller, you'll be fine.
Some of the early versions of the game had two different props that actually acted more like weak jet engines - those are the ones that aren't allowed in prop class tournaments.

  • Indy Air Race 7.5 years ago

@xXDeadlyTXx The planes are flown by the AI. You can watch on Twitch once the races start, check this page just after the deadline for entries and there'll be a link to the stream.

  • Indy Air Race 7.5 years ago

@abrarhasansami I'm pretty sure the "no old props" rule means you can't use the ones like in this post - you should be fine with the T1000, T2000 and T3000 engines from your version.
I'm pretty sure the rule was brought in because the other old props actually acted like weak jet engines, not propellors.

  • Dampfwanze XII 7.5 years ago

This thing was amazing in the Snow Crawl tournament. It was finishing in 39 or 40 seconds, and no-one else was managing to get under one minute. It's just in a league of its own, and I am in awe.

  • Aviown Drona II 7.5 years ago

Just watched the video of the dogfight between your entry and mine, it was great!

  • The DRONE Challenge [Finished] 7.5 years ago

Thank you very much, mikoyanster. Glad you liked the design.

  • Baja 6x6 7.5 years ago

Congratulations, you knocked me out the tournament. You should check out the video, it's quite entertaining.

  • Krachenburcher Enterprises: GRV2A Speedy Cricket 7.5 years ago

This looks cool, I really like it.

  • Snow Crawl 7.5 years ago

Tournament Status currently reads "0 matches remaining of -86 total matches". I think something may have gone a bit wrong...

  • Snow Crawl 7.5 years ago

My entry's in. It won't be the fastest, but might be the ugliest. And it does seem to finish consistently, so might make it through a couple of rounds.

  • Winner of my biplane challenge 7.5 years ago

    Thank you very much!

  • Snow Crawl 7.5 years ago

@CrazyBrick15 Building a vehicle you can drive well is relatively easy. Building one the AI can drive well is much, much harder.
