Cool Idea!
I have a bit of experience making bikes, I also worked in a bicycle shop for a long time IRL, and worked on quite a few Enduro models, I even owned a couple of Big-Hit bikes myself ;)
I made a bike (motorcycle) a while back and it solved a few problems I had with balance.. Here's a link it has a tutorial to take it apart.
just so you can see the control layout and what I did to have flexible control for doing all sorts of tricks and such, feel free to use any of it or not if it doesn't fit your idea.
- The one thing I would recommend is, Think of the Gyro as if it was the Rider...
where the center of gravity is compared to the bike (usually around where the seat is), and how body movement can be translated to the gyro.
feel free to ask me anything, or to tell me to shut up and stay out of it ;)
@7 Probably I'll give it a test in the advanced model...
There's going to be 2 main Orca III uploads to reflect GDI's subfactions:
-Orca III for VR and general flying (GDI & GDI ZOCOM) + other skins & weapons.
-Orca III Advanced VR controls (GDI Steel Talons) which is the dual control one.
tho I'll probably need help stabilizing it again for VR after adding all the new stuff and finishing the cockpit ;)
This is amazing!
takes me back to playing this on the old nokia 3310 because there were no other games on cell phones back then XD
I also broke my joystick, and this is probably the best thing I can control with KB and mouse...
Huge thanks to @11qazxc for helping me with the turret
and @SenSkysh, for the FT turret stabilized code
special thanks to @V for helping me make this VR friendly
looks pretty good, but the gauges seem to go berserk for me..
and crap I saved over the original so I can't compare the two smacks own head
but I think the suspension isn't working correctly...
tho it could be my mistake, I haven't driven the original in years
Nice build!
Never played Halo, but I like it.
A list of controls in the description would be nice ;)
The only thing I don't like it the control scheme, only being Roll as Yaw and pitch without the use of Yaw.
so I added Real roll, yaw and pitch.
and switched the rear guns to Trim.
@ws since the main server went down, we're mostly on these when we're online.
but because of geography, it's on really random times... usually late night Europe time.
- 157.7.214.47
- 45.95.53.182
nice design!
Feels more like a SU-27 than a Mig-29 tbh.
Taxiing is impossible as the front wheel doesn't move with Yaw, Roll or any input I tried, I think the connections are set wrong.
would've got my spotlight if it did.
@Charris969 sorry, I have some things that I need to take care of lately, so I haven't been on much.
hopefully I'll be able to do some formation flying and more recordings, but atm I have too many things IRL that need my attention...
@NAD not sure yet... I used Scharnhorst's turret from his OTOMATIC SPAAG, but I'm still editing the code to make it work better
Tho I'm going to try making it airborne as well
@Scharnhorst I used the turret codes from your OTOMATIC SPAAG if you don't mind.
I had to edit them tho to make them work better with the 30mm.... still got work to do on them tho
@Charris969 If you didn't figure it out, the easy way is to disable Multiplayer mod in Simpleplanes, exit simpleplanes, download the new version, and running the game through the mod to re-install it by enabling it in the mod menu.
@BagelPlane It's such a fun plane to fly!
No need to think, just pick it up and enjoy it.
I told Typhoon that it's basically like flying in a meditation :P
I usually don't like slow planes, I prefer helicopters if I'm flying slow... but this is really one of my all time favorite planes to fly :)
@Charris969 got a few things I need to remake with the glass parts
My snowfox doesn't really need it 'cause it already has an opening cockpit...
but I'm adding glass to my Jaguar and my new Orca III ;)
Cool Idea!

@MintLynx too much time flying the Orca XD
+1what you don't see is the hundreds of hour I spent as "one with the ground" :P
glad to see someone using those rotors :)
+1@Charris969 nice!
+1glad to see that assembly used for something :D
Great job on this one!
+1This is probably my favorite F-16 to fly.
I also love the low part count so it's great for MP flying ;)
Cool UH-60, but it feels a bit underpowered..
+1finally!
+1Very beautiful, but very useless.
+1such a high part count makes it totally unusable.
@Monday cheers, It's a great build ;)

@Typhoon3 Thank you!
I love flying close to people and see them doing amazing things :)
@WolfSpark I'm sometimes on the german server, can't connect to the US server, mostly on 157.7.214.47

@MrShenanigans Thank you! :)
+1@brians1209 gotcha, You can make them more sturdy by adding mass to them, problem is it also adds weight.
+1nice design!
