@WiiMini The guy has been under attack for so long that he assumes that everyone is trying to attack him. Choosing to think that anything that isn't overtly positive is something overtly negative and taking an extremely defensive stance accordingly.
Also this isn't a battlefield, this is just a heated debate lol.
@KnightOfRen People who join and immediately go and make a forum post are usually the ones that get involved in drama later on as the early attention wears off. With you it was worse due to how long you were only getting positive attention. Also, have you ever been able to guess how someone will get mad based on what makes them happy?
@ACEPILOT109 well, it's a large paramotor, so it has to control like a paramotor. As for size, so long as it's bigger than a trike with a lawn chair then you should be fine. Take a look at the build in the first link of the post of you're still confused.
@PolyIsGone Congratulations, you have won one of the contracts. You have until December 31st to complete the contract. Use this time to research how paramotors work and how they can be translated into SP and to build a paraplane of high quality. If you have any questions please contact me or Asteroidbook, this includes if you need some help with the build.

@DeltaS4 Sorry I believe I missread the question the first time, basically the trims are just the trailing edge of a wing shaped parachute that have their own control cables so they can be used like a normal control surface. On traditional paramotors this is the only way to roll. Rolling is obviously more important on something the size of a Cessna than on a motorized flying lawn chair.
@NormalPioneer I'm not sure you got the message of the post.
We will select 3 people who will be contracted to build a paraplane and those 3 will be given until the end of the year to create the best build they can.
@RivalStormy why?
It's pretty simple.
You're requested to build the thing.
You build the thing.
And if you don't screw it up, you get a small pile of upvotes.
FM-K - your local producer of weird stuff, current primary company
FR - 50 part stuff, current secondary company
Ucle'an (U) - now defunct, was my main company for several years
Derzki - relatively short lived secondary company, made trains
@UltraLight
1. That's not a big deal
2. Some people don't have discord for what should be obvious reasons
3. Assuming the capabilities of as anyone is foolish at best.
@UltraLight depends on how you build, a lot of people edit rise and run off the build, or just don't use that system very often. And why would you have to "re-do" anything, once something is on the build it stays there. And did you even read the bit about a chat box?
@LGNDRY Ok so
Level of detail: adequate
Execution of detail: adequate
Accuracy of detail: poor
In game handling: poor and/or unusable
Control scheme: poor
Part efficiency: poor
Color accuracy: poor
Sound design: poor

@KnightOfRen Just summing up why people are mad at you....
I forsaw that this kind of stuff would happen as soon as you made your first post.

@BagelPlane ok here me out: paraplane gunship. If you build them right, they naturally go in circles pretty well.

Hmmm yes, very cursed.
Congration, you have gone in circle.
@DeltaS4 I don't know, probably anything that's kinda light but is able to hold the whole assembly together.
not sure why you removed the ailerons, they exist on real paramotors as these things called "trims"
@NormalPioneer nah
@NormalPioneer I'm not sure you got the message of the post.

One is a game.
The other is a 3D modeling program with an open world tacked on.
Guys remember, this ISN'T a standard challenge.
@NexusGaming that's not really what I'm looking for, and I think that challenge has been done before.
@ACEPILOT109 You just say your interested and then hope you get selected.

@AsteroidAsteroidTheBook my B
@ACEPILOT109
this was going to be a forum post, but i decided to make some fuselage art so...
@ACEPILOT109 I'll reveal more details in a forum tomorrow. It's going to be kind of like a challenge, just set up very differently.
@ACEPILOT109 we have an idea, so hold your horses for a second.
@KnightOfRen expect it's been done before, and it's the kind of thing that is funny once.
@KnightOfRen no
Diamond is stupid because it's blue, and blue is the rank of the devs. So this proposed rank should be green.
Before you say that diamond should be a different blue, I'll point out that the site uses solid, basic colors only.
Yes
@MethaManAerospace yeah, it could definitely be improved given I built this in a couple hours max.
Noice
very nice, wish it turned a little faster though
No
Wow these are old

Ucle'an (U) - now defunct, was my main company for several years

NGL, kinda don't like this change.

@jamesPLANESii I'm sure many would still use it despite the jank.
And on today's episode of "someone forgot to press the unlisted button"
@banbantheman that's actually a very early version of my steam tank.
Get multiplayer
I mean... You could, but why?
@MAHADI air embolism?

@banbantheman gettin some copypasta vibes
