Fun fact: during operation aphrodite, a few B-17 were turned into remote controlled missiles. They couldn't take off on their own and thus pilots would take them up and then bail out. Despite carrying around twice the normal payload the effect on target was poor and certainly not worth the lives of the pilots who died during the bailout process.
Point is, reality is often more cursed than fiction, mostly because fiction has to be believable...
I've been to Florida, and I can confirm from personal experience that it takes a squad of Florida men to wrestle one of these away from hole 7 of the local golf course.

@Bellcat It has normal steering, its just that the point of rotation is at an angle so its harder to see. Just look at the craft from a top down view and you will clearly see how it works.
For the record, I started making this thing a long time ago, so please excuse some of the inefficient and archaic building methods, they were all that was possible at the time.
@rexzion 1:I turned off drag on nearly everything, 2: there was like only 3 other people with low part stuff because I asked if I could bring it in and they got low part count craft in preparation. The performance cost is still at like 4,500 though.
