@Jerba well the idea is that its a balloon held down by a weight, with a winch connecting the two, the maximum extension of the winch could be changed in overload.
Both the winch and the thing holding the balloon up would activate as soon as it spawns.
@Kimfri Overall, this thing flies pretty well. However I would change some things, namely, due to the lack of wing area, I think that the engines should tilt to help pitch the thing when in forward flight. For some reasom, you choose to use excessively strong gyroscopes to force this build to hover, meaning that if you hit something, the build will sometimes spin out and destroy itself.

TLDR: 7/10 Your getting close to finding your perfect VTOL formula, but some things still have to be refined a bit more.
@Freerider2142 looking into the guy more, it seems we both draw on similar inspirations. Those being interwar/ww2 aviation and naval architecture of that same era.

@DanDaFreakinMan all those fancy railguns and lasers hardly matter when your targeting and rangefinding equipment is stuck at WW1 levels.
@SimpleJoako give it about 30 seconds, it takes a while for steam boilers to heat up.
My guy, custom wings have normal wings clipped inside them.
