@ChrisETH so I had a long break from SP until about 5 months ago. I didn't really remember the past that well, but the point is there were a lot more high-quality challenges back then. I think I will hold off doing more challenges for a while.
@ChrisETH about how I can't judge entries, I think I have shown my judging capability with choosing the plane in the thumbnail, and my track record. To be honest, yes it was the frequent challenges that got people tired of it. Before, people actually liked them. Ugh my track record
@ChrisETH yes, I agree. But there was a time when people actually did challenges every 5 or 6 weeks. It's just that the environment of the community has since changed.
And I will stop complaining now because I have known the root cause of the problem. He just did not mention challenge frequency at all.
@ChrisETH I did, but with a challenge. I stayed there comfortably for 5 days
But people hate my challenges now. Look at this
Shucks, is there any way we can have the "perfect challenge"? I know mine wasn't perfect, but I tried and I tried hard.
@ChrisETH 58 upvotes for that? I mean, look at my planes. It would be reaching my life goals to get half of that lol
My posts are absurdly underrated compared to those of CheeseBoi lol
@SavageMan ok lol
I understand that CE airlines have the lie-flat first class seats in the screenshots, but AA just has more legroom, a wider armrest, and a wider seat when compared to economy. The armrest in economy is also unrealistic as the armrests are only connected to the seatbacks and have a cantilever structure (they are only connected in the back and kinda float above the rest of the seat lol), with an exception to bulkhead seats.
@KangaKangaTheRoo because he was, for the most part, clogging up my comments with more or less the same criticism. He also does not tell my precisely how to improve. As this is evidently not constructive criticism, this is getting to the point of hate speech. An example here:
You can shake your head till your neck gets tired but it won't change the facts.
@F104Deathtrap so being the staple of the community automatically makes @AsteroidAsteroidTheBook better?
At this point, you are just picking on less experienced challenge hosts.
@F104Deathtrap I only complained about the upvotes because for a previous challenge that I did one month ago, I did basically the exact same thing (with a different topic of course) and it got more than twice the upvotes. I don't see any difference between the two, except that I credited the plane in the comments except in the description.
@EternalDarkness As some suggest, I probably did not give enough credit to the maker of the plane in the screenshot. So please just put this a successor to this
Also, do you think this is one of those low quality challenges? I don't really know. I have a custom thumbnail, but I didn't make the plane in it (for the record, I have given credit here twice). Do I need to build my own plane, or should I do fuselage art?
EDIT: Ah gosh they now say my thumbnail is misleading. Should we just get this removed?
@F104Deathtrap For the record, I have credited the creator of the plane in the second pinned comment below. I'll put it at the top. Thank you for the comment. Also, you said I should make it a successor?
@KnightOfRen @AsteroidAsteroidTheBook @KangaKangaTheRoo As I come to think of it, we are all silver and above. Why would we be internet predators if we show our at least half-decent knowledge and passion for aviation and we spend hundreds if not thousands of hours mastering the game and contributing to the community? Parents don't really understand the concept of a gaming community.
@knightofren This is my first published airplane. You can see I was already decent back then, compared to others with white rank. I also came a long way since then.
@KnightOfRen Unfortunately, until recently, I think the cooldown was 3 upvotes per minute. Even more unfortunately, I promised 35 upvotes for the winner of the amphibian challenge...
[insert sad noises here]
To be very honest with you, I find these controls to be counter-intuitive. This is because you can't just freeze the throttle; Even if we don't have activation groups, that would still be ridiculous.
I know that after some unhappy experiences on the site and some friends on SP leaving for good, I have become a terminal pessimist. Whatever. Also, are you good at custom cockpits? I had an abandoned collab and I really need some help.

@AirbusAerospace so I am also working on an A350-1000. How about we both post it on November 24 to celebrate the 4th anniversary of the plane?
@ChrisETH 58 upvotes for that? I mean, look at my planes. It would be reaching my life goals to get half of that lol
My posts are absurdly underrated compared to those of CheeseBoi lol
@ChrisETH OMG lol
I'll post my first plane then
@ChrisETH I wish to get 400 points with one post oof
Now that I have more points, I am facing the same controversy as @KnightOfRen lol
@SavageMan
Oh lol
@TurtlesThatFly wait you expect to get to gold with just this?
@SavageMan ok lol

T
also, I am working on the A350. Any advice on curved glass windows?
@50CalChicken This will be entered because I just can't get enough entries right now lol
@KnightOfRen ok lol
I still have 2 challenges in progress right now, so that'd have to wait.
@KnightOfRen can you please build a concorde?
Hello.
The challenge has already ended, but since the grading is not yet finished, I will accept this entry with a small score deduction.
@RuvienRuvienTheCitizen uhhhh I made rank brackets already...
+1@AsteroidAsteroidTheBook ofc your logging challenge
It’s great
@ChrisETH discord
+1He is a mod on SPBC, which you can find in @dllama4 ‘s bio (I tagged so there is a link lol)
@ChrisETH tbh I find it mean to not tell
@ChrisETH too nice?
@KangaKangaTheRoo so I previously required funky trees, but FYI I pulled that rule
+1@ChrisETH the rule has been removed. Thank you. You’re not entitled, but someone has finally bothered to tell me something that’s actually bad lol
@KangaKangaTheRoo because he was, for the most part, clogging up my comments with more or less the same criticism. He also does not tell my precisely how to improve. As this is evidently not constructive criticism, this is getting to the point of hate speech. An example here:
-F104
I can change the facts in other ways duh get rekt
yay 5001 points
@ChrisETH what does that mean?
and let me quickly get you 2 upvotes to get you to gold lol
@KangaKangaTheRoo sorry. I pinned the comments.
+1@KnightOfRen yes
@KangaKangaTheRoo F104 is blocked now. Sorry. He can't respond to this.
@Planeacceleration probably not, but if you ask F104, yes.
@F104Deathtrap so being the staple of the community automatically makes @AsteroidAsteroidTheBook better?
At this point, you are just picking on less experienced challenge hosts.
@AsteroidAsteroidTheBook so I have an unwritten rule that I will only follow up to 10 people. Parzival has left. so you get that last spot lol
@AsteroidAsteroidTheBook you know what I mean here lol
@tsampoy lol don't tell everyone
@AsteroidAsteroidTheBook the logging challenge has a piece a fuselage art so it is 100000x better
@F104Deathtrap look. What is it that I am supposed to do? If you don't tell me what you expect, nothing changes.
@tsampoy and for the record, that guy was complaining about this
@tsampoy I made the airliner challenge. It was horrible, and basically no one scored the planes, so I pulled the idea.
@F104Deathtrap I only complained about the upvotes because for a previous challenge that I did one month ago, I did basically the exact same thing (with a different topic of course) and it got more than twice the upvotes. @TheFilmCrew Hello
I make stuff
@WernsterProductions Ok, But I Still Find Your Typing Rather Interesting.
+1Lol
