@ReinMcDeer As mentioned, it's an open discussion.
An air superiority fighter is usually a plane that can linger around in the sky for a long time, carry enough armament to take down as many planes as it can, supersonic and maneuverable.
The mig-29 can do most of it, sure, but the only thing it suffers is flying time and loadout (at least compared to it's contemporaries). It's a fuel hog... if you ever tried the dcs version, you'll understand why it won't fly for long. And when you consider it's only 6 pylons (and 1 fuel-exclusive) you see it doesn't do much outside of intercept incoming enemies, rather than going to enemy lines... In essence it's kinda like an upgraded mig-21... just 2 extra pylons and more maneuverable...
Again, I LOVE the mig-29, sexiest Russian military hardware! Just saying I don't think the early mig-29s would have done much...
Small note:
I don't think you could really call the mig-29a an air superiority fighter. The loadout is way too small and its capability beyond fighter isn't exactly top notch compared to the Su-27 or F-15. Just a small note open for discussion...
@Tang0five Yes, It's infuriating me. I can't seem to find why it's doing it!! Everything should be green. No reason to do it. :(
(apologies for earlier comment, I misread your comment)
1 - The Centre of Mass is too close to the to the Centre of lift. IT should be closer to the front using Dead weight option
2 - The engines you are using are WAY too strong for this small plane. Because of it, the whole plane flips. Instead of Blasto BFE150, suggest you use J15 or J50
3 - Use Fusalage inlets in front of the Engine parts, it won't give you air-intake errors
@Amirabadi After you make sure the mod is active,
- Pose the machine
- pause the game and choose the camera angle you wish
- press F9 to hide the hud and menu
- press f12 to take a screenshot
- Once you upload you machine, the last 3 screenshots will show.
The weight of the plane is too close to the Centre of lift. You will need to either put dead-weight closer to the engine, move the wings backward or move the fusalage forward.
This is a fantastic job!! Keep it up!
I would have personally made the throttle the acceleration rather than the VTOL tab, other than that, it's perfect!!
@AWESOMENESS360 Agreed. The only "stealth" going on here is mostly from the reduced cross-section and open nozzles to cool exhaust. Other than that I attempted to give this plane a less circular cross-section from the regular typhoon however it still looks a little too circular, and making pointy edges (like the f-35 / f-22) is a bit of a struggle to recreate on simpleplanes.
Attach the Missile Body and the Guardian Missile to the Detacher and NOT eachother. Also Make sure that the Guardian Missile is inside the Missile Body. The Guardian will "push" the missile.
For Manoeuvrability - Move the Centre of Balance a little backwards, a Little bit closer to the Centre of Lift.
For Flaps - This happens to me as well. What I could suggest would be making a full traditional wing with Control surface set as clamp(VTOL,-1,0) , then coating it up using the Fuselage part. Granted, not a solution, but at least it'll do what you wish!
Other than that it is a pretty nifty design! Kinda reminds me of the JF-17. Keep it up! Looking forward to the next iteration :)
Builder: So, What armament would you want for this design?
Designer: Yes...
Builder: Where would y...
Designer: Did I stutter?
@RamboJutter True come to think of it! Although since you used rotated blocks, your looks more like an f-19 I think...
Cute model. If you want to stabilise the plane without the use of Gyros, You will need:
To add VTOL RCN pods around the body to have manual control
and
Ensure that the Centre of Mass is literally over the Centre of Thrust. That way it won't tilt forwards / backwards / Sideways during vertical lift
The elevator animation seems to be inverted, other than that, awesome job!! Keep it up!!!
+2Excellent model! Keep it up!!
+2IMPROVED PERFORMANCE VERSION HERE
Follow This link for the improved performance version
Great build!! Watched the commentary by "Laz" - Gave me a great appreciation to how much thought is put into the building process of this plane!
Gorgeous plane! Interesting blend of rafale and f-18!! I will test this later!!
+1@Highbraker ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Pretty good basic model! Keep it up!!
@TheSolarFlare that's why you should fix no.2.
If you insist on using the bfe150, reduce the engine power using overload
Not bad!! Keep it up! :)

@CC1010 Felt like building them :3
@Amirabadi 🤷 dunno, go to the mod page and ask there
@Infinity It'll be more maneuverable if it's closer to the centre of lift. If it's too close it will flip uncontrolably.
Also for the Leaning to the right thing, I've been having the same problem, I think it's a bug, not sure though...

Very nice design! Keep up the good work!
+1The roll function of the right wing should be "Roll" not "roll" - Capatalization is important in functions.
Also, The Roll & VTOL fuselage parts are connected together. Check the Attachment editor to see if they should be connected or not.

@Amirabadi You edit the text after you upload them. The game's text editor doesn't work well.
@EngineerOtaku it's very rare to see a harrier frs.1 with any different loadout, so I made the most common one...
+1Reminds me of my old times of building planes! Good job!!
I do recommend using the blueprint feature though. The real plane has an unusually thick nose cone
Try building your own from scratch, you will earn more points that way.
Amazing job! Keep it up!!!
Reminds me of when I tried building this 2 and a half years ago... takes me back...
@EngineerOtaku Thanks. I think your version only needs a paint job and a tiny bit of tweaking, other than that, it's pretty good!!
Chonky tomcat!
+1@ArthurPlayer Welcome, You've earned it ;)
Fantastic model!! Keep it up!
+1Multiple loadouts available here

+1@AvalonIndustries
@JuanNotAnAlt
You should abdolutely remake this once the fuselage cutting and gauges update is released!!
@SussyBreadBoi T
Kinda looks like a folland gnat mixed with a fiat g.91 and f-16. Reminds me a bit of my a-8 aquan project too..
If you build it, please tag me! i'd love to fly it!!!
I suggest you wait for the next update. The fuselage cutting feature is coming soon. Is this for a 3d printing project?
Smooth and enjoyable flyer! :)

+1Gorgeous Design!! Love it!!
Not letting me test this out, saying i need a newer version...
+1Well Earned 300k :)
Suggest you check out my Grumman G-623V. Works on the same principle as your model here. Take note on the funky trees I used on the engines.
