@ThePilotDude No problem! There are tons of really awesome Schneider Trophy racers. Personally, I think the Italians made the prettiest ones, particularly the Piaggio PC7 and the Macchi MC72
It's kind of strange to me that over 500 people downloaded this. I could see 150 or even 200. But this means that over 440 people either started an entry and never finished or just downloaded your sign for some other strange reason.
@Cinnabar Thank you very much! I'm finishing the next one right now. I almost had it done when I discovered EternalDarkness' challenge, and the Jenny seemed like the perfect plane to introduce the 1920's and 30's so I dropped everything and got to work.
@EternalDarkness I'm sure there's more to it. Sure, Mikoyan and Sukhoi export some really great fighters but I have a feeling there's a robust domestic aircraft industry. I'll see what wikipedia has to say. ~Edit~ Hmmmm, it looks like Yugoslavia was a pretty heavy hitter in the aircraft world and only some of that remains today. Some beautiful fighters from the early Tito era, and some really nice turboprop light aircraft today. I guess you were right.
@EternalDarkness ~Sigh~ It was a joke based around the premise that Americans know nothing about geography or any history that doesn't pertain directly to the United States. Since you made me perform a verbal autopsy on my terrible joke, the least you could do is tell me about Serbian aircraft.
I mostly just see Blackhawks, Sea Kings, and C-17's. Blackhawks are crazy-loud, I always hear them long before I actually see them, so much for the element of surprise.
@Mustang51 Nope, read the blueprints. He's recreated the wings quite accurately, if anything they are a couple feet too wide. Where are you getting this very strong opinion from anyway?
@TheXDimension32 I looked it up, the stripes are from the 550th Tactical Fighter Training Wing. Back in the 70's they used the stripes for visual recognition during fighter training, kind of the same way the Navy uses those awesome flying-circus camos for their adversary jets.
I gotta say, this is probably the most detailed phantom I've ever seen here. The camo, or the cockpit alone makes it stand out, but combined? Amazing.
Ah yes, I remember Eve. Running 5's out of Heimatar, surface mining in Derelik, and always, always popping those Amarr pods. Wait, what were we talking about?
@EternalDarkness For personal use it's fine, but I wouldn't intentionally share planes that crash the game for people. Oh! And did you know the game counts vertical tails as part of the wing loading?!
@EternalDarkness ok, so I messed around with it a bit. Very powerful stuff, but with one serious drawback: if you crash into the water, it crashes the game, even on a modest -.05 It also seems to amplify movement of any kind, including torque, which makes stall recovery... surreal. Have you encountered this stuff? Any workarounds?
Kinda looks like an A-6 that went a little crazy at the buffet table, doesn't it?
Animals usually don't like fire anyway, but please post again when you see your cat.
Or, you could just learn how to make cockpits by downloading other people's stuff and tearing it apart to see how they made it.
+2Nuke that joint, full reinstall. Also, it sounds like your RAM might be bad.
×Title says USAF×
×Has no USAF markings, only writing in Japanese×
Seems legit.
Nice roundels
Jolly good show, sir.
+2You should paint this, it's good.
The Scourge is back, baby! AWESOME!
@CRJ900Pilot LOL! Thanks for the tip, I can see how that could get abused.
@CRJ900Pilot @RaZoRgAmInGxD @SomeFox @BaconRoll @Daekstor Thank you, she should be out pretty soon
@Cinnabar I've got a teaser up click here to check it out.

@ACMECo1940 Thanks! I got two new images up.
Hey, this is really good. But f I'm being honest, the BF109 that I deserve is really a PZL M15 Belphegor.

@TakicraftCorporation Long ago, I heard this song and fell in love with warm synths and ice cold drum machines.
@TakicraftCorporation Right on, I haven't heard of Kane or FM Attack, it'll be nice to dig into some new material!
@TakicraftCorporation I've been listening to a lot of Carpenter Brut and M83 lately. You?
@TakicraftCorporation Me too. So good when Im driving, or at work, or not dtiving or not at work...
+1@TakicraftCorporation Yessssss!

@Strikefighter04 Eh, you gonna have to look that one up.
Awesome car! Here's a little something for the tape deck.
+1I'm definately no fan of the CSA, but them Duke boys are alright with me.

@EternalDarkness Ah, so you live in Canada, eh?
I mostly just see Blackhawks, Sea Kings, and C-17's. Blackhawks are crazy-loud, I always hear them long before I actually see them, so much for the element of surprise.
Ooh, ooh, I know the answer to that question!
@ScreamingApe Not enough wings or jet engines. Not Soviet enough.
When people ask this question, there is only one answer.
@Notvarysimpleplanes I hadn't considered people did replicas there. Makes sense tho. Cool
@SpiritusRaptor Thank you very much! And thank you for the cockpit instruments.
@Mustang51 Nope, read the blueprints. He's recreated the wings quite accurately, if anything they are a couple feet too wide. Where are you getting this very strong opinion from anyway?

This thing is amazing! Whats with the D-Day stripes though?
God, this thing is so wierd. Hard to imagine someone strapping in and flying this baby.
You do a great job of getting tons of detail out of reasonable part counts. Impressive
Holy crap! She's so beautiful!
Dang, this thing was worth waiting for. Nice work!
@F4f879 Hey, thanks dude
How long do these take you? Is there a team of people, or just you? The level of detail stupefies me.

@RailfanEthan That's not a bad idea.
If you slap an airbrake set to -10 on anything that flies, you will go so fast that the game actually crashes.
Pretty cool!
Sorry dude. You're still awesome, if that's any consolation.
@TehDuck Does the tank have a cannon? Because the business end of that cannon can be an inlet.
