As much as I hate "bye-bye" posts, I really do love how international these forums are. Your english is very good and I think it's cool that you take learning so seriously. Good luck.
@RailfanEthan Diesel train engines turn dynamos that power electric motors. Yes, diesel has good torque and is often more efficient than gasoline combustion, but diesel engines are still only 35% thermally efficient (gasoline is even worse, 20%). For trains, this isn't so bad because they manage to move such an enormous amount of freight with only a few engines consuming fuel.
But the benefits of electric motors is obvious, that's why they already drive the wheels of modern trains, there is no geared transmission, the electric motors have more than enough torque and don't need one. The big change would be to cut out the middle-man and give them their own supply of electricity. But there is the problem, batteries are heavy, expensive and not yet up to the task in terms of energy-to-wieght. Charging them wouldn't be an issue, however, because a dedicated car could be swapped out as needed and charged separately.
The real kicker is automobiles. They are simply too inefficient for our standard of living not to suffer if we continue with them as-is.
@RailfanEthan The wheels run on dynamos, swapping the engine and fuel tanks with a battery of some kind is perfectly possible, it's simply not practical yet. Perhaps some other method of storing electricity is needed, but piston engines (even diesel) are wildly innefficient machines. Something has to give.
I have tremendous respect for Toyotas. Of all the cars I've owned or driven, Toyotas clearly surpass in terms of reliability. To wealthy people or children yet to drive, this may seem like nothing but speaking as someone who relies on their car to make a living, this is the most important feature a car can have.
I have never driven a Prius, but I can safely say that my Camry was a marvel of industry. Besides, the new Civics are even more ridiculous looking.
It could be anything and we won't be able to help unless we can check it out. Privately upload it then post a link above. I'm surprised I'm saying this to a platinum user.
@Sinacraft It's a modified F-5E with bits of F-14A electronics spliced inside. The twin vertical tails are reminiscent of the F-18 (which is also related to the F-5).
@DerekSP 1/10th of the userbase even logs in, that means that not only do most people not do tournaments, but they don't even upload.
By my estimation, such people are perfectly satisfied downloading other peoples creations and using them how they like. I do not see how anything listed here offers unregistered users anything at all.
Edited- I would like to add that this idea does seem well intentioned and clearly you spent some time considering how to implement it.
A 1989 post-apocalyptic flick where ultralights and hot air balloons become the primary means of travel. Lots of cool tiny airplanes and it's actually a pretty decent movie, too. Starring Mark Hammill, Bill Paxton and (lol) Ben Kingsly.
The changes to your center of gravity might be causing your plane be be unstable... but thats just a guess. You should post a link so ppl can check it out. Also, make sure to test speed at a certain altitude, 1400mph at 80,000 feet is way easier than 1000mph at 100feet.
@8bitgamer33 If you want to make exciting teasers and popular builds, check out how other people do it and follow their example. Pictures are a good start, sometimes a link to an unlisted early version.
@stefan0042 I can't download or fix anything at the moment, but you might be able to fix it by attaching a gyroscope to the plane. Don't worry about the settings, just stick one on and see if it helps.
@Rodrigo110 Mouse aiming isnt only easy and fun, but the standard way people with computers aim. Same goes for mobile users, just like console thumbsticks.
I do not understand why people insist on using trim controllers for turrets. It is so much easier to aim with pitch/yaw. But this thing looks very cool and I like it.

You'll thank me later.
@Zyvx Now that's real service!
Hey, this aint kosher. I ordered no cheese!
You forgot to note any washed up rappers aboard each flight.
SO?

+2Excellent post, man. Stuff like this is hard to find on the internet sometimes, but I think we're all a little better off that you wrote it.

@RailfanEthan Fun fact, hybrid cars operate very similarly to most modern trains. Though trains are far more efficient, obviously.
Lithium is a real problem. I await the day we can store electrical energy more safely and economically.

+1We'll survive, somehow.

AKA Iran's "brand new, completely indigenous" fighter for 2018. lol

A CANNON
OMG the game just needs a friggin cannon.
+2"silent majority of users"
I'm pretty sure a majority of players are silent because they're perfectly comfortable with tournaments as they are, but that's jmo.

Aw, lucky! You get it early!

They absolutely bank the plane to one side to turn. Yaw input is important, but gently used in commuter aircraft in conjunction with roll and pitch.
This isn't a bug, it's your opinion.
What are the three bumps on the bottom of the tail?

Don't forget the Spitfire!
Honestly, they're great planes and I do sympathize with people who love them. But there are so many wonderful planes that are overlooked.

@JED Sorry to hear that. I'd trst it out, but I won't be near my computer for a few days at least. Good luck.
@Othawne Sorry to disappoint you. Have a nice day
@ChiChiWerx I would like to see a working example. Stuff like this has a variety of possible uses.
@Othawne You lost me. Who's Frank and why is he rude?
+1@stefan0042 I can't download or fix anything at the moment, but you might be able to fix it by attaching a gyroscope to the plane. Don't worry about the settings, just stick one on and see if it helps.
@Othawne Yeah, I'm gonna have to pass on that offer. Chichi was talking about some useful and interesting stuff, then this mess.
@Blue0Bull Shhhh. There's some knowledge to be gotten here. Listen.
President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho would approve.
+1@Blue0Bull Pipe down, kiddo. The grownups are talking now.
Change it to "I only make messerschmitts"
+4A horizontal tail would be a good start. Or maybe just slap a gyro on it.
You should link the plane so ppl can examine it.
@Rodrigo110 No, you don't. You just position the hinge properly. I'm done with filling up this poor guys comment section with this silly conversation.
@Rodrigo110 For aiming the turret. First-person shooters all aim the same way. This is a no-brainer.
@Rodrigo110 Mouse aiming isnt only easy and fun, but the standard way people with computers aim. Same goes for mobile users, just like console thumbsticks.
@Rodrigo110 Auto-aim? Ew. Fly this thing and tell me it aint fun.
Slayer?
Return with snacks, or don't return at all.
Isn't it satisfying to assemble your own hardware?
+2@Kaqiusha321 Absolutely. I especially like the fins and the sleek design. It reminds me of the Type XXI Uboat.
@Rodrigo110 I'm a PC user, right clicking the mouse button is not so difficult as you may suspect.

VIGIE
Ordinance makes no sense. Otherwise, nice work.
