When you tag somebody, put @ before username. I wouldn't know that you replied to my coment if I didn't remember to check how you are doing. Anyway, we all started with potato quality airplanes, you will learn. Watch how other users are making their planes, eventually come up with something yourself, and pritty soon your planes will look nice and fly even better.
@Sweetvictory123 you post airplanes, we upvote your airplanes if they are any good, you get 15 points per upvote, and then you can upvote other people's planes.
You make part a subassembly, go to your text editor, find SimplePlanes subassembly folder, the subassembly you need, and change specs. For example, trying to mod propeller engine, you save it as subassembly, find it as a file, change what you need, save changes, and go back to SP and paste your moded engine from subassemblys.
@WahrscheinlichIch have you tried such a design as to keep the bottom of the hull without any buoyancy. On top of that goes the level with just enough buoyancy to keep it above the water. Maby even two levels. Check my SS Northern Princess, maby it will give you some ideas. On the other hand, maby you are already using those ideas. As I said, I can't check.
@WahrscheinlichIch well... Why don't you try to xml mod some of the weight away? Anyway, as I said, this ship is way too big for my phone, so I don't really know how it behaves. It looks beautiful, and that, my friend, got you an upvote.
As for the speed, 25 mph is OK. It's a steam cruiser, not a speedboat. As for maneuverability, you could try putting structural wings on rotators, that's what I do on my ships. I am a mobile user, so I couldn't download it and test if this works on such a big one, but maybe it's worth trying.
Really nice. @FrogmasterAereonautics if you ever feel like needing some of my instruments, you don't even have to give credit, I would like to make your already beautiful planes even more beautiful. Use them if you find them fitting.
@OtakuSquirrel since you are so good at moding angled stuff, may I ask you to make a steering wheel of a ship. Eight spokes si fine (like the number of cylinders of these engines, since you already know the angles), I just need it to be 1,5 or smaller in diameter.
Wich is annoying. Why argue about personal opinions here? We are here to make airplanes, so let's devote more to that and less to politics and trolling.

Here's an upvote for the effort

You are welcome @TehDuck. There are much better explanations on reddit. Google it.

@Cedy117 thanks. Took some effort to ger her right.
@WahrscheinlichIch ok then.
@Meawk it is Serbian. Serbia is a country in southeast europe, Balkan peninsula. It is my and somthingismadebyme's native language.

@Somethingismadebyme to sa ceni.

@Meawk or post a picture here. I am really interested. I found myself in steam ships.
@Somethingismadebyme o, pa hvala :)
@Meawk this kind of steam boat? Or an iron clad gunboat?
@DeezDucks this guy made you.
Au, ala me ti brate hvališ :)
@Somethingismadebyme ok, ali kasnije. Sad pravim neki do jaja brod. Videćeš. A u čemu je sad problem?
@Benny332D2003 oh,ok.
@MeawkAs I said, I'm planning to make a steam/sail hybrid 19th century ship. But your idea might prove useful practice before the real thing.
@Cedy117 also, this is basically a test for 19th century steamer/sail ship I am planning to make.
@Cedy117 why? They are not hard to make. Took me an hour and a half.
Looks nice. What are those bulky things uner the wings?
@Waemoth yup. That's the one.
Why don't we just call it AUI? That would stand for Artificial UnIntelligence.
Exactly what I said on earlier.
Okay. It's beautiful anyway.
@Waemoth you get approximately right color when you choose orange and darken it.
Nice. And under 300 Parts. I like it.
Looks really nice. I only think that the color should be a bit darker, maby that brownish yellow of the Romels desert corpus.
Nice concept. I like it.
Zaboravio sam da upvote ranije.
Cool.
@Skua ok. I believe that you will be objective. A bit of politics is OK, but pushing that guy Trump up our buts is, in my opinion, spam.
@Skua ok, sorry. I was really annoyed. Is this politics stuff by the rules? Some of them are more of a spam than those Jelly thingies.
Da mi srbi budemo najjači ovde. Živela Srbija XD
@Somethingismadebyme nema na čemu. Kad god ti treba.
@aerodummy looking forward to see.
Not bad. Just put that rudder more to the back. Ihis way it is just tilting it. And set rudder rotator to "Yaw".
To care.
Wich is annoying. Why argue about personal opinions here? We are here to make airplanes, so let's devote more to that and less to politics and trolling.
Happened to me. Someone vandalized my post about how this is not the place for politics.
@aerodummy you got my attention. Tag me on it when it's done.
