@DragonAerotech I don't mind being bugged. Yes, this concept of suspension is interesting, and thank you for pointing it out to me. But I prefer using simpler suspension systems in order to reduce the part count. Most of my trucks are quite laggy on my device even without complex suspension.
@DatWalrus why? What is the problem? For the Windows, simply leave open holes or frames. For apparent transparency, you can xml edit length of the fuselage block to negative. You will be able to see into it, but not out of it.
@T0PD0GDEFENSIVECO please refrain from making this kind of posts. Also, refrain from attacking iFalco. He simply expressed his frustration with the bad situation in the community, although he did it the wrong way, which caused more damage. The situation seems to be quieting down. Please do not add more oil to the fire. This post, just like iFalcos, is doing more damage than good. Thank you for understanding.
Disclaimer: This is not an attack against you. My goal is not to offend anyone. I want this situation to quiet down. Thank you for understanding.
@DatWalrus HellFireCoder did it. The mod that he used for that is unfinished and unpublished. Even if he made parts with that mod, you wouldn't be able to use them. You can take the steering wheel from my Coyote off-road military vehicle, if it suits your needs.
I don't mind, @Redstoneracer24. A version of this vehicle without the roof already exists, but painted green, towing a howitzer, and sporting a Soviet looking machine-gun
@AnarchistAerospaceIndustries you are proud of being "Mod's pet"? Weird. Anyway, this post still is a part of the waive that is tearing our community apart. It is not up to you to do the Mods work. Cancer and anti-cancer is completely pointless, quitting and making a break posts are something we are dealing with as a community, and as for mods involvement, rest assured that they are already well aware of the situation and are working on permanent solution. Nothing else to say.
@T0PD0GDEFENSIVECO @kikasshes as a mobile user, I rarely download anything. I usually judge based on the looks, so, more details - higher the chance it'll get an upvote from me.
Happy anniversary, @Exumer. I'm glad to hear that you are here to stay. We have lost enough of great builders recently. Hopefully, I too will stick around for long enough to congratulate you on your second anniversary.
@DragonAerotech well, I do like making them. I'm sorry if I sounded sour there. I'm just irritated by the lack of leaf springs on SP. Also, I have a big, laggy project which I'm not even sure I'll be able to pull off.
It is the lack of motivation, inspiration or support. Since I have all of those in abundance, I'm here to stay. As for those that are planning to leave due to the lack of inspiration, take a break, go to the nearest airshow, see a lot of inspiration just flying around you, come back.
@DatWalrus does that mean that you have managed to access xml files? If you "broke" the game by xml editing a part, you can simply delete that part from the subassemblys folder.
@DatWalrus I have to go offline now. Give it a shot. I will check back in approximately 8 hours, and I'd like to see you posting a comment "I made it!"
@DatWalrus go to its falling meni in the top left corner, tap "home" then go Android/data/SimplePlanes/files/subasemblys, and find the part that you saved as subassembly, and edit it as instructed in the post I linked in my previous comment.
@DatWalrus trial and error, my friend. I also had a hard time learning how to make stuff. The first jet fighter I uploaded is probably a hundredth I made. If you are on ios, you can take my parts.
Buddy, you have to step up the game in order to achieve that. Focus on details, look at pictures of aircraft/vehicles on the Internet and try to make creations similar to real objects, or just make your builds more colorful and eye-catching. Posts like this are a bit pointless. Keep improving yourself, and upvotes will come.
@MisterMasada it won't be a perfect replica of the chassis, just a wheelbase with functional suspension, shaped so that it fits the car. A perfect replica of that chassis would take hours to make and would have part count of over 150.
@PlanesOfOld very well. My next complex weapon system will compete. It will be done in approximately two days. It will probably be a TMG (truck mounted gun, howitzer).
Mobile friendly is quite an imprecise request. My Xperia E4g can do a lot, and there are many more powerful phones. I currently have a weapon system under construction, but I need to know if I should make a stripped down variant of it for this challenge. Please check if my last few vehicles are mobile friendly by your standards, and tell me the results.
Fortunately, it is a pretty square car. I think I'll be able to make chassis and suspension for it. I'm a bit busy now, but I'll do it on the first occasion.
@MisterMasada as a machine technician of motor vehicles, I do know a lot about suspension. The problem is that game doesn't contain all the parts for the truck suspension. If you ever need a chassis, feel free to take one of mine, or ask for the custom one. I really enjoy making those.
My entery, if I'm not too late, will be M.CorpCWS.TBM1 Meteor ballistic missile
@Cedy117 @iFalco thanks guys

@Cedy117 what?
@DragonAerotech shocks work well enough to replace leaf springs in terms of performance. The problem is of purely aesthetic nature.
For suspension for off-road and heavy vehicles, you can take a look at my profile.

The irony at its finest. This is a stop-it post against stop-it posts.
@Blazeinfinity me too.
@RhysBrown why don't you simply make this a "see you later", rather than "goodbye"? And as for using other peoples parts, you can use all of mine.
/!+@#. Another great builder going away... I hate to see you leaving. Wish you all the luck in real life...
I still admire my work on this. It never got the attention I thought it will.
@Blazeinfinity he went full racist and got himself permaban
@KerlonceauxIndustries yes

@Beatboxbro thanks buddy. I'm glad that you like it.
@TheOwlAce of course. I will probably release much better looking missile soon. You might want to wait a day or two, and use that instead.
@TheOwlAce if it suits you. Just don't forget about credit.

@DragonAerotech the problem with making that would be leaf springs. That, and the fact that I have my own projects to do.

@DatWalrus I don't know about editing weight. For scaling, write scale="x,y,z" after materials. Of course, replace "x,y,z" with numbers.
@DatWalrus if you need any more help, feel free to ask
@DatWalrus no problem. I'm glad to be of help

@DatWalrus I have to go offline now. Give it a shot. I will check back in approximately 8 hours, and I'd like to see you posting a comment "I made it!"
@DatWalrus it will probably take you a few attempts to get it right
@DatWalrus go to its falling meni in the top left corner, tap "home" then go Android/data/SimplePlanes/files/subasemblys, and find the part that you saved as subassembly, and edit it as instructed in the post I linked in my previous comment.
@DatWalrus the app that I'm using for xml editing is ES file explorer. You can find xml tutorial here
@DatWalrus what device are you using? If it's not ios device, you can xml
@DatWalrus trial and error, my friend. I also had a hard time learning how to make stuff. The first jet fighter I uploaded is probably a hundredth I made. If you are on ios, you can take my parts.
Really useful. Thank you for making this

Nice. I love it
@PlanesOfOld very well. My next complex weapon system will compete. It will be done in approximately two days. It will probably be a TMG (truck mounted gun, howitzer).
@MisterMasada the one with pop-up headlights? Chassis and suspension for that will be easy.

I never thought I'll find this car here on SP. Made in Yugoslavija. Great job.
@MisterMasada just tell me which version are you making. Or give me a picture. Or both.
Fortunately, it is a pretty square car. I think I'll be able to make chassis and suspension for it. I'm a bit busy now, but I'll do it on the first occasion.
@MisterMasada I'll do some research on it. If I find enough information on the subject, I'll pause my current project and do that instead.
@Cedy117 thank you

Nice truck. I always held that half-tracks are inferior to both wheeled and track vehicles anyway. Thanks for the credit.
